Some parts of home buying are frustrating (to be expected) but the whole experience felt extremely rushed and day of signing they were still working on things that needed to be fixed in the home. Why rush signing if things aren’t ready. Waiting a few days doesn’t hurt. Also now that we’re in the home getting in contact with anyone is almost impossible or you get a response weeks later. Overall we’re happy we’re in a home

We had an initial great experience with Lennar sales, however Lennar title was very difficult to work with upon closing. We were told we were to close on a Friday, however Lennar title did not see our money transfer from the sale of our previous home that was sent early in the day Friday until very late in the day and due to that we were unable to close. When we tried to contact them Friday afternoon for clarification there was no response or anyone we could speak with. Pros and cons to this buying experience

It is important to get everything in writing even when someone acknowledges your request. There was a lack of follow through in my buying experience that ended up costing me additional out of pocket monies due to my sales representative not following through with a selection he had requested from me and for which I gave him an answer for.

Overpriced and finished too fast

The main issue was after moving in and finding all kinds of not quite finished things, places where there’s messed up paint(or none at all), damaged ceiling, wall, doors etc. Things not being square is also an issue. I spent nearly 1/2 the price of this home with KB and had a MUCH nicer end product, especially for the price. The market sucks for buyers and these builders are raking it in with a smile on their face.

The buying experience went smoothly. The problems occur after purchase if something needs attention. I would give them a zero but they did contact me to blow me off.

Lennar moved up our completion date by a month but forgot to notify us until we followed up to ask them. When we arrived for the walk-through, we were stunned and dismayed by the amount of work that was not yet done or done incorrectly. They installed the wrong granite countertops and then ripped up our counters to replace them. They pressured us to close on time but didn't deliver our dishwasher until a week after closing. The construction manager actually installed a used model to trick us into closing on time, then lied to us and told us the supplier had sent the wrong model by ...

Termites (Moved in Nov 2019

My neighbor and I who have moved in Nov 2019 are having termite and drainage issues. Very Responsive in the first 90 days. Communication and responsiveness after the 90 days is poor.

Deliberate misleading builders intentions inorder to complete buyers purchase.

Would not hold property for buyer without non-refundable $16,000.00 down payment. Misleading expectations for completion date and reasons for delays. Lowering exact model price by $20,000.00 after 6 months delay for closing escrow allowing NO-DELAY move in for new buyers.

Extremely Disappointing! Our move in experience couldn't have gone much worse.

The majority of the items we found on our walk through were not taken care of. One of the biggest problems was the block wall was left incomplete. The first 4 or 5 blocks and the very last block were installed and about 30 in between were missing. They fed us a few lies about why it wasn't finished but we were told they were not going to complete it and could just forfeit our $5,000 deposit and not take possession. Super smooth transaction until you get the keys to your house and then the nightmare begins

We actually had a nice smooth transaction with the Lennar Lenders and everything was going great up until we closed. The day of closing we noticed that water from the master bath shower would leak out the front from where you enter into the shower. Our Construction manager who did the walkthrough with us made a note of this and shared a text with us who he made to someone to help us out. We were told we would need to go through the warranty department now. I bought 3 homes myself and helped lennar sell 2 more gomes with zero recognition or appreciation from Lennar. Additionally quality of Lennar has deteriorated drastically its a shame and no response on fixing the issues I am definitely not coming back infact will pass on this feedback to my investors friends and group

Unpleasant, long, frustrating experience!

Don’t trust when they tell they will fix things ,it was not done during the first walk, nor the second, and it took three months and a half to be able to move in! Horrible frustrating experience
