You solar contractor does not respond to repeat calls and it says a lot about your business that you work with these contractors

I feel like Lennar used quality materials in certain areas and "not so quality" items in other areas. I like the home. I have the Quill model. The stand alone shower in the master is kind of odd. I would have liked 3 tile walls and just two glass panels. A shower tub combination would have been nice. The location of the Master Bedroom is not great. On one wall in the garage is the noisy heat pump water heater. On the other side I have the neighbor's heat pump for their house, and the freezer dropping ice. Take forever to fix

I’m having bad experiences with Lennar. Take forever to fix the master shower room. And now, they excuses that the guys come to fix the shower room don’t have enough training. If he don’t, how come Lennar didn’t hiring someone have full training? Or all your employees have no license to build the home? I’m very upset when they told us they if willing to accept the money and they will not come to fix the shower room that broken!

first time lady called me about signing the papers, had very bad attitude. I would never recommend anybody to purchase from Lennar

Worst buying experience with Lennar

My experience with Lennar has been frustrating and disappointing. There has been a lack of transparency and poor communication throughout the home-buying process. Aubry, the lender, failed to clearly explain unexpected increases in the purchase price and closing costs, and I was not informed when my loan was placed in suspension, causing unnecessary delays and stress. On top of that, the landscaping is poorly done and far below expectations. I bought two homes from Lennar, experience was same, first I though it was oneoff or mistake, second home also same experience. Sales associate was excellent, load process was good. Title & escrow experience was worst, there was not even one email or phone call communication, both transaction was not closed on date it was mention, no communication, no one picks phone or return to voice mail or email. From last 2 months we are following with lennar and sunnova on solar activation . No response from both of them . Lennar moved to new vendor for home that are still not sold , they left people who already purchased. This is unfair. If anyone willing to talk on this please contact us.

Lennar corporate does not have proper handoff between Lennar builder, sales team, Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Home insurance causing the buyer to run through multiple hoops to provide the same information. Transparency especially with Lennar Mortgage team is very limited and is the cause for a lot of frustration with the overall buying process.

We could not be happier with our little cottage on the bluff overlooking the foothills of the Sierras. Our buying experience was incredible and the people at Lennar have been super responsive and accommodating. Our Loan Officer Rachel was extremely patient, knowledgeable and kind. My experience purchasing a Lennar home was, just okay. Not great, but not terrible. I would recommend buying a Lennar home, as they're built well and often are marked down quite a bit (they initially start higher than most for this reason though). The fact that they negotiated pricing and incrntives was great! I would just suggest being on top of things yourself, as your new home buyer info regarding your property maintenance etc. is not provided to you in a handy binder (like I've experienced with other builders) but is all located on your online portal. I just purchased the house in April 2025, and we moved in on May 1st. However, I’ve already noticed several issues. The exterior paint is fading, and there are cracks all over the outside walls. The existing flooring is covered in linoleum, so I replaced it. I also repainted the interior walls because the original paint was dull. The bottom of the kitchen cabinets is falling apart. On a positive note, the lighting in the is good.

I would not recommend Lennar’s financing to prospective buyers. My experience with the loan process was frustrating, with numerous issues that could have been avoided. The required Letters of Explanation (LOEs) felt intrusive and unnecessary—other lenders I was working with didn’t require similar documentation. The only reason I ended up using Lennar was because I signed a disclosure agreeing not to use another lender within 30 days of closing. Our Lennar was a good value for the size of the home we go in the price range we wanted. The buying process was smooth, other than the lending side. We were given the Lennar lender, and we submitted the paperwork, but didn't like the payments. Our Lennar consultant suggested another approved lender who was amazing and got us a CalHFA loan with better payments and rate. After this, the Lennar lender reached out with a better loan offer but couldn't beat the approved lender.
