Our Lennar was a good value for the size of the home we go in the price range we wanted. The buying process was smooth, other than the lending side. We were given the Lennar lender, and we submitted the paperwork, but didn't like the payments. Our Lennar consultant suggested another approved lender who was amazing and got us a CalHFA loan with better payments and rate. After this, the Lennar lender reached out with a better loan offer but couldn't beat the approved lender. Then attempted to send us a Lennar loan document tying us to her after we said we weren't going with them. I did not like Lennar Lending's lack of transparency. Lincoln, during the walk through was amazing and gave full descriptions of how to use all the features of the house as well as the things that will be fixed. All items were taken care of by the move-in date, and keys were received early. Lennar's build quality has a little to be desired, and the fit and finish have a little to be desired, but for our first home and in the price range we wanted, it was hard to beat. Almost all the finishes are good quality. Best new homes on the market.

After all the walk through s and living in the home a few months I know see how some stuff is not like we thought. Handles on cabinet in quest bathroom not put on straight, bottom of cabinet scuffed up with white paint. Glue on tile. Overall we love the home but when buying a expensive home it should be really nice. Little things like this show how this home was thrown together as fast as possible.

There are a lot of chips in our tiles and our home is not square in most places. However, Gabriel and his team have been incredible in responding to our issues. Also, we purchased our solar (instead of taking the PPA). The solar company you use is awful, and I would recommend not buying from your company because the issues we have had. It is estimated that we lost a months mortgage payment to their lack of diligence, and inept ability to communicate where their customers. I honestly have told people to go to other builders due to your choice of solar company. Other than that, I love our home.

building and construction is good but their mortgage lender side could use a lot of improvement.

The home was delivered on time

I was told that i am getting a smart home from the beginning till the completion of the deal. However in the end, i found out that my house was not a smart home and lacked many smart item. When I complained, few items were added but few still left out.

The sales process was fairly smooth. Only complaint would be sometimes felt left in the dark about what step was coming next. Should almost be provided a schedule. Even if you don't the know exact dates at least can prepare for what's next. In terms of the construction of the home. We knew this before buying. Lennar homes are built fast, cheaply build. No eye for craftsmanship. But you pay for what you get. Lennar homes tend to be on the cheaper end when compared to similar homes on the market.

Lennar wants everything to be done right away as far as paperwork during the escrow process but when they are the ones that need to send or sign a document they can be slow. Our closing date was postpones several weeks because Lennar and our lender too took forever to respond. The worst came after move in though. Two days after moving in our guest bedroom flooded. They were quick to send a plumber but........it's been 2 months and our guest bedroom is still not done. And they are not even nice about it. I mean I like to be understanding and not push people but there are people that just don't appreciate your patience you know. Overall staff was always great! We just had a lapse of bad communication due to a member leaving the company. The house is good and we are ready to build great memories!

Customer service is not good

Overall the experience with every rep was and has been great! Any time we need or needed assistance they would be there for us. However, I will say even though we purchased a lot of the higher end upgrades the install of them was very messy ie. Paint issues every where around the house, as if it was rushed, and so that was disappointing.

I was shopping around other homes such as KB houses and Wilson houses but due to the unavailability of homes I had to look at Lennar homes. My experience was good but not great during process to close escrow as the staffs weren’t quick to response to my questions and needs, I usually have to do 2-3 response to get an answer back. After moving into the home, things started to break such as drywall, hidden cracks, hidden poor construction, a lot of nails from roof and backyard. Overall Lennar homes was not my first choice, I had limited time to find a home so I had no choice as landlord was selling the home I was renting. My landlord home is also a Lennar home and they sold their home due to issues that I’m starting to experience. I love my home and it’s a good home but it’s not the greatest. ... More

I do wish during the walk-through we were given a list of things to remember and do when moving into the house. When we are doing the walk-through, and we are being told all these things we need to remember, let’s be serious we are barely going to remember every single detail that’s being told to us all at once. A list of to do items & need to know items is very important and I wish that was provided. There is also things around the condo that needed to be done prior to escrow closing unfortunately some of those items were not done but I was told it would be done after closing however, I am still waiting for them to be done and I have no idea what I need to do to make sure it gets done. There’s lots of little things that are not done properly I would say, if that’s the correct word like paint splatter on my floors, paint splatter on my balcony door frame, multiple little things like that. For the price I paid and for it being a new condo, I would expect it to be nicely done. I do also wish the master room closet was bigger, I feel like the guest room closet is bigger. ... More

On-site customer service is great. If there are any issues, they are quick to fix them. Everything included makes life easier. The color that comes with the house is hideous, I wish they paint it all white so buyers can choose. I am happy with my decision to buy a house with Lennar.

I am an investor and remote. I was impressed with ads of remote buying experience but my tenants keep finding issues with the house. Now, they don’t have the right mail box keys. I have opened the case, sent multiple emails but no on has responded yet. I don’t understand how we got the keys that are not for the house. Still waiting to hear back. I wasn’t expecting this from a new house. Earlier, we had issues with bathroom showers and kitchen electrical outlets

everything. was good up to the point of commencing. payment of my mortgage where my mortgage servicer is actually. a debt collection. agency wow. Just purchased the property had to be calling 5days in a row to make payment only to be introduced to a debt collector ?

I recently bought a house from Lennar, and overall, the experience has been a mix of positives and negatives. They buying process was fine. The sales department is not terribly responsive once you agree to buy. Lso dont feel they were transparent about some issues with neighborhood. After some time we were directed to someone who was responsive. Quality if materials is average at best. I still can't believe they do not include gutters on the house. Overall hiusebis fine and they have been super responsive to maintenance tickets.

There is no clear communication on who should we reach out to in case of any support required. Also, I was disappointed that support takes a long time to respond to any help.

On the building end of things, most things were fine. Construction was great to work and incredibly helpful. Of it weren’t for the helpfulness and caring of the construction team, I don’t know what we would have done. The same goes for the loan department. They were always there to answer questions and provide guidance. However, the sales team was far from the quality I expected. From day one, we were not treated kindly. Concerns and questions, if answered, were short and dismissive. When farther along in the process, an incredible lack of communication made the closing process beyond frustrating and overwhelming. At one point, I was called about flooring and treated rudely because they(sales office) had an oversight and wanted me to rush in picking flooring. I was belittled and was even given wrong information about my contract. So much so, I had to get my copy and direct the sales team to the page so I could verify the flooring purchase. In the last two weeks of the sale, there managed to be so little communication that I was out a refrigerator and a washer and dryer. The communications with the sales team at that point were inexcusable. I was finally able to contact upper management where things were handled with more tact. You would think that a sales team would be more communicative, helpful, and understanding as buying a home(let alone a new build) is not something people do every single day. It would have been nice to be treated with more care and appreciation from the sales team. Outside of that, we are loving our home and the care from the construction team we continue to receive! Title team is not cooperative at all, i understand they are busy but it leaves bad taste to customer. Communication is very limited and no response to email and messages on portal.

I had a better experience with outside buys than with Lennar. I felt it was fine but wasn't great. I had higher expectations. I feel floor plan could have been better designed. They give zero options to modify anything. I feel their quality of features has decreased. They downgraded the materials they used in our neighborhood after few homes. They didn't include fridge anymore either. Also response time wasn't great for certain aspects of their mortgage and closing communication.
