Lennar - We had flooring issues and although I appreciate Lennar taking

We had flooring issues and although I appreciate Lennar taking care of the issue our baseboards and walls were destroyed in the process. We were told painters cannot be scheduled until January and the damage is beyond what paint can fix. We had to do a key release for a week while the work was being done which is fine but the workers used our spare restroom and soiled our bath mats past being able to be cleaned and left urine stains on our toilet. The home was turned back over to us filthy. Lennar then had cleaners come the following morning after we requested and they cleansed the bathroom ...

Did not receive mail keys until 2 months after closing. Customer service was horrible. Lazy individuals were responsible for the customer service aspect of this process

For several years, I knew I wanted a Lennar home based on the reputation and quality of the homes. When a Lennar community was planned in the exact area I’ve wanted, I knew it was a great opportunity for myself so I made sure to be prepared once the homes became available, which I was and began the process right away the end of Feb. 2021. Signing in July for a house that would be ready in November, that would then be delayed month by month until May. How can you think you can finish a house in 4 months if it’s going to take you 10? But when it’s finally done, we were given zero flexibility in closing day. We had to be flexible for all this time and Lennar gave us nothing at all, even threatened us with a 500$ per day fine! Communication during construction and even sales was very poor and even now past closing is minimal. If Lennar is the last builder on earth, I’ll buy existing homes..

Bad overall attitude from all construction team. Very rude and intimidating at times I felt I was about to get into a physical fight with this construction and Lennar customer service team. They were very dishonest. This is my second Lennar home and did not even compare to the great experience I received the first time.

There is nothing about the house that says "NEW"

There are more than 150 blue tape markers covering everything from numerous uneven floor tiles, gaping at every door frame and baseboard joint, broken window frames, window panes without gas revealing moisture, roof has more than a dozen non-matching tiles replaced before possession, two very visible and disturbing depressions in the roof giving a wave-like image to the tiles, concrete and stucco splashed over window & door frames, the home was not properly cleaned following construction, entry door step plates are dented, scratched and appear to be borrowed from a warehouse, exterior paint ...

Worst experience, poor structural quality

I am very scared about the stability of my new home. Poor quality of wood and other materials 1. Foundation concrete is not strong due to lack of steel structure please visit Wilson houses for reference how they use steel structure in the Foundation 2. No structural supervision by manager. It is your luck how they build 3. No use of 5×3 or 6x4 wood for top of windows and all attached 2x3 Poor quality wood 4. I am very disappointed with quality 5. They need to improve quality and supervision of engineers 6. Need proper quality check for construction

Compared to other home builders, Lennar falls short. Lennar's saying "Everything is Included" should be changed to "Nothing is Included." You want to customize Ethernet Cables in the house? NOPE. Rain Gutters? NOPE. In fact, all the stuff that IS included is the standard stuff you get for free, except it's probably the lowest quality materials/products available. The "quartz" type material used for the countertops is a nightmare to clean. If you spill anything on it, it will absorb it and stain as if it was permanent marker. Everything IS NOT Included

Purchased house expecting to have installed what was advertised on their website as part of "Everything included". I did not get USB outlets, exhaust fan in master WC, or smart thermostat. In addition, building plans show exhaust fans in laundry room and master WC, but were not installed. The fine print says lennar has the right to change everything. So regardless of what it shown on building plans or website, lennar has the right to not install it. Not what I expected from a company that I felt had a good reputation.

After possession of the house, toilets flooded due to main pipe outside the street, and lennar was not helpful in fixing the problem or cleaning the mass inside the house

We purchased a brand new house not a fixer?

We purchased a brand new house not a fixer Right? We only purchased from Lennar because of the lot. Our house sits on hole 3 at Copper River Golf Course. Before we moved into our home we noticed water coming up the grout of the tile in the living and kitchen. 5 months later the problem is still not fixed and Lennar is totally dragging their feet fixing the issue. We will have to move out until our new home if fixed! Purchasing a new home should have been a great experience....it was just the opposite.

Very unsatisfied with the quality of the house in general. Found many imperfections inside on out of the home, which we had the opportunity to addressed through Lennard's service request website. However, many of the imperfections have not been fixed two months after of being in the home and still no answer as when our request to fix these items will happened.
