Lennar corporate does not have proper handoff between Lennar builder, sales team, Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Home insurance causing the buyer to run through multiple hoops to provide the same information. Transparency especially with Lennar Mortgage team is very limited and is the cause for a lot of frustration with the overall buying process.

So, the home buying process and issues did not go so well for me. I had an employee for Lennar (Carla) show me a home I was very interested in and ready to put a deposit on and purchase. I had submitted the paperwork and everything. She had taken too long on her end to sign off and apparently somebody else submitted their offer before mine due to this. I missed out on the home. Fine. Lennar, without my authorization, utilized a broker and Dilos Insurance, resulting in a $3,000 annual insurance premium. This fee was not disclosed until the contract signing with the notary, where I felt pressured to proceed. Immediately after acquiring the property, I secured alternate insurance for $850 per year. The subsequent reimbursement process from Dilos Insurance proved problematic. Dilos communicates solely with brokers, and Lennar offered no assistance. We own a Lennar home in Las Vegas that is well built, with quality materials and great attention to detail. We have been so sad to see that what we expected here was not what we got. It appears that the company saved a few bucks on the bathtub, the carpet, the trim and countless details. I spent a lot of money to have the garage textured and painted... something I expected from Lennar since my Vegas house had that. AC thermostat older model no wifi enable no sync need to control manualy each one. No towel hangers in bath. Kitchen counter tops poor quality and thicker than regular size sharp edges. Whenever there were questions or needs nobody was there to help. Concierge was useless. Lender left without saying anything before closing. Builders didn't even get permit for solar until after 30 days at closing. Francisco has been the only helpful person

The Pinnacle Plans were great but Lennar’s customer service, quality of work, and choices of contractors and materials used needs improvement. Everything was delayed, shuffled, and rushed to their benefit and not the customers. As a big company, they lack connections, customer service, personal touch and failed to please the customers when there are problems. They will take a long time to replace items on the list when you closed. No ETA on when it will get done. Move in since the end of Nov 2021 and had issue with refrigerator which is still not working since day one. I’m having bad experiences with Lennar. Take forever to fix the master shower room. And now, they excuses that the guys come to fix the shower room don’t have enough training. If he don’t, how come Lennar didn’t hiring someone have full training? Or all your employees have no license to build the home? I’m very upset when they told us they if willing to accept the money and they will not come to fix the shower room that broken!

I just purchased the house in April 2025, and we moved in on May 1st. However, I’ve already noticed several issues. The exterior paint is fading, and there are cracks all over the outside walls. The existing flooring is covered in linoleum, so I replaced it. I also repainted the interior walls because the original paint was dull. The bottom of the kitchen cabinets is falling apart. On a positive note, the lighting in the is good.

The two areas i find poor is the height of the microwave. It is so high to be unusable. The master shower is beautiful but poor design. It has subway tile on floor which is slick. I almost fell. I love my home. Great floorplan.

We haven't bought a home in 15 yrs and hope we never have to again. If we ever do it won't be with Lennar. I don't know even where to start so I'll stick to the facts. First off they sent us the contract with floor plan and we were so happy....until we saw the house in person and realized they SENT US THE WRONG FLOOR PLAN!!! My experience with Lennar has been frustrating and disappointing. There has been a lack of transparency and poor communication throughout the home-buying process. Aubry, the lender, failed to clearly explain unexpected increases in the purchase price and closing costs, and I was not informed when my loan was placed in suspension, causing unnecessary delays and stress. This is my third lennar home. I have referred many friends and family to this builder and will never again and will never purchase from lennar again. The sales department doesn’t care about customers and just cares about numbers. We had flooring issues and although I appreciate Lennar taking care of the issue our baseboards and walls were destroyed in the process. We were told painters cannot be scheduled until January and the damage is beyond what paint can fix. We had to do a key release for a week while the work was being done which is fine but the workers used our spare restroom and soiled our bath mats past being able to be cleaned and left urine stains on our toilet.
