Our experience with Lennar from the initial purchase through our final move-in was smooth, well-organized, and exceeded our expectations. The entire process was clearly explained, and we felt informed every step of the way. Moving into a new home can be stressful, but the Lennar team made it as seamless as possible. Somewhat stressful, but I want to make it clear that a lot of it had to do with the fact that I did not have a realtor. I sold a house through Open Door and purchased this one so there’s kind of a lot going on. I’m sure if I purchased directly my experience of would have been different or if I had a realtor. We love our new Lennar home and the new community! The only problem we had was on the financial end, the loan officer, and those folks. And in talking to all our new neighbors who were already here when we moved in as well as the neighbors who have moved in after us, we all seem to have the same thing in common….. the lending process was unnecessarily, stressful, and overall not good. This was not a good experience. It was terrible to be honest. Multiple times a week, sometimes daily, for months, I was having to fight for getting my home. Lennar tried steering (which is illegal), tried to act like certain promotions weren’t valid even though I had the marketing emails to prove it. Jason at Lennar mortgage told me this verbatim “You won’t be able to buy this house if you have a million dollars cash.” Which, to make you aware, my home was $854,990. Sales Esther was excellent throughout the entire homebuying process. She was professional, helpful, and very responsive. She was the person we were most satisfied with during the whole experience. However, there were several disappointing issues. I wish I had been informed from the beginning about what an FHA loan truly entails. I was under the impression that I would be able to close quickly, but the process involved significantly more steps than expected, which became cumbersome and frustrating. I have purchased three homes from Lennar and am very happy with two of them. I was happy with the third one, too until Lennar failed repeatedly to honor their warranty. I have now had to hire legal counsel to help me with the warranty issues

The Lennar team is great! I’m a first time homeowner and everyone has made this process so smooth! Special shout out to our construction manager Jeff he’s been extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process! We see him on site every day and he’s always asking if we need anything even after our purchase. The whole team has been fantastic and has gone above and beyond answering questions I’ve had as a brand new homeowner. Could not have asked for a better experience!

Process started with Lennar website posting of house and not honoring price posted. Thank goodness hired my own inspector. Paint in outside drains (illegal in CA), HVAC pad uneven causing vibration and noise, hump in roof and separation of tiles.

Overall, we're very happy in our new home. As with all tract homes I've ever lived in, there has been some sloppy workmanship. However, that has been offset by Lennar's excellent service representatives, who have all been great at taking care of any issues in a timely and efficient manner. We also love this location, one of the best in Valencia. 4 1/2 stars, if this would allow that overall rating.

Lori our sales rep. was outstanding and a true gem for your company. The many challenges of portals and authorization codes was very challenging and I am computer savvy. I like the Lennar builder, good home quality and very reasonable price. However, I believe they need to have more check points for their staff. They do not have good communications skills and trying to doge the responsibilities to the other person. I received the pool community about three weeks after purchase. my ring door is still not operating, and nobody takes responsibilities to fix or replace it.

We expected little problems would come up after purchasing and I can say the personnel were very good about responding to concerns. Unfortunately, the quality of the building construction is very concerning. The wall in my primary bathroom is not properly centered (a window that should be in the center is 4 inches off line).
