From the start it was difficult bought a lot put our deposit down and a few weeks later we were told that we lost out lot to a cash buyer ! When we decided on another lot we had sold our house and had cash available ! The lending experience was a night mare ! We had a great realtor and helped us but it was right up to the end that they wanted several documents that had been given before ! The communication was not good and the follow up was very slow ? It was very aggravating and nerve racking the entire way !!

Since the close only one Lennar employee (Fidel) seems to genuinely care about the customer experience. I’ve had direct experience with 4 Lennar employees. As a former business executive of multi-national companies in the service delivery and customer experience business, and judging from a customer experience perspective, I would promote 1 of the 4 (Fidel), fire 1 of the 4, and put the other 2 on performance improvement plans. For the price of this home, the attention to detail should have been greater. The amount of paint splattered and uneven texture and cracks in the caulking is sloppy. I found beer cans in my closet during one of my walk throughs. I have permanent suction cup markers on my counter tops and stains on my UPGRADED wood floors from careless installation. I love the design of my home but the crappy workmanship is very noticeable and disappointing.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the performance of the underwriter. I found their work to be highly disorganized, with significant delays in both requesting necessary documents and providing approval. This caused considerable confusion and frustration on my part. Due to these issues, I was seriously considering canceling my purchase. I would recommend that no further assignments be given to this underwriter, as their performance did not meet expectations. The house was very poor clean, one of the bathrooms had a stain that was hard for me to remove, and the balcony and the home's outside windows were very dirty. I will need to pay somebody soon to do the cleaning.

All was fine leading up to purchase.Once purchased, your just another number. Slow response to issues. In my case, main issue was quartz counter, peaked at main joint, said it was normal. Interior paint is very cheap. One wipe and your removing paint. Sliding glass lock mechanism is too hard to even open. Hung my own window treatments, nothing is square. Cheap appliances, refrigerator has no capacity. All in all, cheaply built home.

Fast built but works are not neat. We got crooked attachment plugs, hole in front porch, no shower seal, paints that are already coming off, creaked doors. High ceiling is a plus but still hear people upstairs stomping and moving around so loudly. Thin walls, we can hear people walking upstairs next to our unit. Sales person, loan officers, and customer service are very professionals and answer to all our questions.

The overall quality of home is good, the community is not, the landscaping in front of the house is lacking adequate plant material and the community slopes are a disaster. By not making your community improvements a priority (rec centers, slopes, front yard landscaping, street lights, sidewalks) you have and continue to impact your reputation and I would have to assume your sales. Also, the entrance gates do not appear to be designed to control foot traffic, Not sure if this is by design or not. I will need to review your EIR and conditions of approval.

Our move from the South Bay Area of Los Angeles County was somewhat traumatic because we were leaving a home we had lived in since mid 1977, or almost 47 years. Our sales person mislead us and we received no support from any Lennar leadership. Our initial loan agent seemed to have minimal understanding and provided no guidance. After moving in, our work orders have received very slow response and unprofessional communication. Poor craftsmanship has been shrugged continuously.

Lennar is one of the largest homebuilders. I expected so much more from Lennar and our new home. Lennar tried to use the bully/gorilla approach to get us to sign paperwork (even inaccurate contract paperwork), and use all their services (Lennar Title, Lennar Escrow, Lennar Insurance, Lennar Design Center, Lennar Mortgage, etc.). For example, if you don't use both Lennar Escrow and Title, they jack up the price on Escrow fees to make it financially difficult not to use them. They offer incentives when you buy ($20K toward improvements) but then when you go to the design center to choose ...

Would never buy a home from Lennar again

When we were touring the homes, it was fine. But once we actually decided to pull the trigger, the experience was downhill from there. Typos in contracts, long wait times for a response to our questions, no response at all from Lennar mortgage loan officer (they tried to bait and switch us but luckily we had an outside lender lined up just in case this happened), and then the home wasn’t even completed by our walkthrough date. And this is just for starters. After closing, we’ve had a roof leak, broken refrigerator, and have noticed shoddy workmanship throughout the home. Definitely not ...
