Overall sales process was a chaotic experience including the walk thru process. Then after move-in, we uncovered many defects/poor quality workmanship. Management should help address reported issues in a timely manner. Lack of responsiveness from warranty/maintenance team.

First Time Home Buyer Nightmare

I went into buying my first home with such excitement. After signing my papers and doing my first walk through of the home, i realized there were many repairs that needed to be done. Even then, i was still excited because i thought everything would be taken care of. As time went on and walk through after walk through, my excitement became less. The fixes were barely being done and i was being given the run around. After i received my keys, i kept submitting work orders. Shower drains were clogged by cement, bath tubs were cracked when installed, cabinets were installed and wood broke, ...

Lennar is simply not the same builder. Quality and customer service is gone.

What happened to America’s best builder. We own 3 Lennar Homes and in 6 years they have fallen to a terrible level. We will not buy a Lennar hone in the future.

Lennar - The quality of the work and materials are subpar at best.

The quality of the work and materials are subpar at best. The walls aren't flat making it difficult to hang pictures and some areas have large visible bulges most noticeable where there is plumbing. HVAC system was installed as if someone fired it out of a cannon, particularly where the glue was used to seal around insulation and duct work. Baseboard is wavy and concaves over large areas. Nothing gets resolved in a timely manner or at a time that's convenient in terms of warranty work. Overall very disappointing.

Would never buy a home from Lennar again

When we were touring the homes, it was fine. But once we actually decided to pull the trigger, the experience was downhill from there. Typos in contracts, long wait times for a response to our questions, no response at all from Lennar mortgage loan officer (they tried to bait and switch us but luckily we had an outside lender lined up just in case this happened), and then the home wasn’t even completed by our walkthrough date. And this is just for starters. After closing, we’ve had a roof leak, broken refrigerator, and have noticed shoddy workmanship throughout the home. Definitely not ...

Our sales person mislead us and we received no support from any Lennar leadership. Our initial loan agent seemed to have minimal understanding and provided no guidance. After moving in, our work orders have received very slow response and unprofessional communication. Poor craftsmanship has been shrugged continuously.

Poor build quality and even worse customer service to address defects

Lennar does not seem to stand behind their product, and has substandard work, that is only made worse by the lack of customer service to address issues with their new home construction.

Lennar - From start to finish, nothing was done right.

From start to finish, nothing was done right. It’s over a month since my family moved in the house, Still can’t get anyone to finish installing and repair things that wasn’t installed correctly.
