Everyone involved with the purchase was ok; a little over the top in loan qualifying. When we took possession we were disappointed in the condition. The house was dirty; left over plumbing parts on the cabinets; paint drips all over the floors; very poor paint finishing throughout; paint still on the glass windows, scratched glass patio doors, and many more. Somebody in senior management needs to be on sight to see for themselves!

Our home-buying experience has been somewhat disappointing. While we were excited to move into a new home, the overall build quality feels inexpensive, with materials that seem below par. We’ve encountered multiple issues, including fixtures coming loose—something that shouldn’t happen in a brand-new house. On the positive side, they do offer a courtesy paint and drywall touch-up, which is appreciated. Their responsiveness to issues has been okay, but not great. This is my 2nd home with Lennar, my sales consultant with Lennar was great but the quality of the home isn’t all there. Too many things wrong with the homes and feels like Lennar looking for excuses not to repair it, I feel like I’m inconvenienced the company. I still have a door that needs to be replaced that hasn’t been. I’m a little disappointed. Good luck asking a manager to call you. Also I hear everything from outside. I wish the walls were a little thicker though. Overall yes I would buy again but next time I would take 5 hours to inspect the entire house on our way walk.

Lennar is significantly better than most of the publicly held national builders. Very responsive, good quality home and they think of just about everything that you need in your home as part of the Everything Included program. Very good builder.

Lennar sales team is very aggressive and compels to sign the purchase agreement within a day. Once an agreement is signed, Sales team do not have complete information of the home features and takes long time to respond to subsequent queries. Asking if there is an EV outlet provision in garage took almost 10 days.I have to remind 5 times over email to request change in purchase solar agreement. Lennar mandates to buy solar battery which do not make it customer obsessed. I have to put 30k cash just for solar. Besides solar installers takes 1plus months to activate solar system. My Grant Deed showed description of the property with HS (home site) number without the actual address in it. And Lennar Title Co. refused to fix this issue.

Overall had an amazing experience. Only complaint I had was the amount of trash I keep having to clean up from the construction crews that are working nearby. Literally trash and debris that has to be thrown away on their behalf on a daily basis that ends up on my property. Pictures have been taken. What has made it an amazing experience is that our Lennar personnel have stepped up to the plate and assisted in the clean up. The trash still appears but the administration side is helping mitigate the issue.

If this time my options were more open I would not have bought from Lennar. All employees and associates are irresponsible and does business as if they didn’t want customers or wouldn’t do business ever again. Their knowledge was shocking in many instances lying to me. The craftsmanship and details of the build is way below bar. Over all very regretful experience. Would never recommend.

Exterior stucco at many places looks sloppy, with holes, wire mesh exposed, stucco accumulating at bottom of walls. Base of garage wall, concrete lumpy, not a finished look like with other builder’s concrete base of garage wall. Shea Homes garage - base of wall looks smooth & finished. Lennar’s concrete base look so un-finished, not smooth - very poorly done. It’s s big difference how both look next to each other, in pic, when compared. Honest experience as a first time home buyer. Lennar is only great front facing surface level. They sell you well and are responsive only in the selling phase. The second I paid my deposit and they secured my payment, they basically were unresponsive. We had to proof various documents - a lot of the info was wrong. Even after asking for a revision, they’ll get the same info wrong on a different document. They couldn’t get my HOA price right - I had to correct them on their own rates four times. The team of staff that made sure the COE is met on time on its deadline did an excellent job that helped me move in. The staff that provided the keys, instructions, etc were great. The stressful disappointment start from Lennar customer care completing issues requested. The resolutions were not acceptable. Please just refer to my requested completion of issues. Second to this is not being provided recycle and trash bins by Republic services going on 6 weeks now. I have been living for so many years in CA and never did I experience this sloppy delivery of service.

Terrible Quality Build, Terrible Quality Customer Service

We have been so disappointed in the quality of our brand new home. We have only been here a little over a month and we have uneven floors, wood boring beetles, malfunctioning appliances, broken roof tiles, construction debris, and more. Every time we have Lennar come fix something, they either miss the appointment, show up with the wrong materials, or can't fix the issue. It took them 4 tries to fix a single dented panel on the garage. 3 times to fix a small area of drywall. Moreover, they first try to tell us, we are mistaken and that it isn't an issue. Disappointed as to how unprofessionally Lennar handled the sale. What was stated and what was said were not correct. Extremely disappointing to keep getting feedback that this is not a custom home, so we need to expect this poor quality of work. Cracks in the tile and imperfect paintings and not aligned walls....first time buying a Lennar Home....maybe the last time too.....
