Not impressed.

Well, for what I paid, the quality of materials and attention to detail is pretty mediocre. Things are crooked, painting is incomplete, the seams of the drywall where were they taped is coming through, there was little thought given when it comes to the practicality of the design, specifically in the master bathroom but in other areas of the home as well. Yes, I can send in requests for the first year to fix some of the issues but some of them aren't worth the headache, so I'll deal with it. I realize I am being petty on some of this, but for 2 million dollars, I had higher expectations. No ...

It's a great home; high-end appliances and high quality workmanship can be seen throughout home.

The buying and closing process was amazing. The staff members at Lennar sent out emails at each stage of the process and explained every step specifically. All staff members made themselves readily available. For example, Kurtis, Bree and Brian made themselves easily accessible. They provided quick responses and were very attentive to answering questions/concerns.

The home itself is nice, but the title company was not helpful. Kurtis the sales guy was nice and helped as best he could. Overall, we like the property but are unsure if we would buy lennar again.

Painstaking process of loan application

The process of applying for the Loan is painstaking. Loan officer and underwriting office lack good cooperation. They repeatedly asked the same questions or demanded same documents. I suspect that they misplaced the documents submitted. Their computer storage system is not smart enough. They tried to cover (store) a wide variety of documents with very limited categories (label) they created; therefore, you cannot easily find the documents you submitted. I believe they have the same problem; therefore, the easiest way is to ask customer to resubmit the document.

The overall purchase experience from reserving to closing could have been better. We find different folks from sales support to loan, there always been some errors or omissions. After closing, we did a walkthrough the home, and we immediately find out when we standing in the kitchen, the floor bounces when the garage fire door closes. We then test the stability of the floor with others walking around the house, and we also felt the floor slightly bounces as others walk around the home. We mentioned to Lennar representatives but he asked us to submit a response. We also can hear neighbor ...

Good but could be better

I felt like the buying process overall was fairly smooth, but I more so had issues with the quality of work and how many things needed to be fixed. For a new home, it was surprising how many initial issues we had. I felt like they rushed some of the work. For example, there were paint marks everywhere on the floors and door handles. Some of the materials felt cheap including our floor and the interior doors. I will give Lennar credit for coming to fix everything, but just surprised at the amount of issues for the amount we paid. Its an amazing neighborhood so can't complain about the area.

Sales and after sales support were very good. Cleanliness of the house was poor when received. Interior Logic Group pricing for upgrades were veeeeeery expensive. Options available for upgrades almost none existent.

Good starter home. Bad everywhere else

Good starter home that is priced better than most other new construction in the area. But, upon closer inspection, there’s always small problems that aren’t major dealbreakers but always a nuance. Customer service is not much better. Online portal to submit requests, disjointed team that doesn’t communicate well with one another. Work orders that drag on for what seems like an eternity. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re able to find a good deal elsewhere.

Overall it was an easy and pretty painless purchasing process from start to finish. From the first time my wife and I met our consultant Kurtis he was very on attentive and responsive. We decided to move ahead with purchasing a home from Lennar during our initial visit to the model home and let Kurtis know. Within 24 hours Kurtis had sent me the necessary documents to begin the process and instructions of where to wire the deposit. The escrow process went smooth and we closed a couple days later than anticipated due to a delay on flooring, which was our fault. During our first walk through ...

Poor quality workmanship throughout our entire house and poor communication and followup. We moved in almost 2 months ago and some issues still have not been fixed/worked on. Will never recommend a Lennar home to anyone.

What we thought would be a simple buying process as options are already picked. However, the quality of materials and parts is subpar, builder clearly does not do thorough inspections before closing to ensure all items are working. Submitted 23 items for repair after moving in. 2 months since closing and only 8 items have been resolved.

I have experienced some major issues after moving-in including 1) heater not working due to wrong wire used 2)water flooding the whole first floor and constructional debris found in the pumping 3)water leaks from shower in the main bathroom as glass not sealed at all. I am honestly very disappointed on the quality of the work. The responsiveness to issues are great and I am thankful to that, but I would rather hope the quality can be controlled at first....

The whole process with securing the loan and financing with Lennar was great and seamless. Once you get your keys and sign off on issues in your home you think will be fixed you hear nothing back. It’s like once Lennar got their money I was on my own. I put in three customer care requests and was “supposed to hear back in a week”. Well that was December 4th and today is January 10th. I have not received one phone call as to when these issues will be fixed. I even texted the rep who I did my customer care appointment with and I have heard nothing back. Be mindful, when you buy a Lennar home ...

Best design and location. Terrible sales experience.

I've talked with my new neighbors and we all agree that Lennar has the best home designs. Lennar floorplans and communities work really well for modern family life. They are in great locations with clever designs, efficient use of space, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, that's the only positive part of the experience. The sales and post sales experience is terrible suffering from a complete lack of communication, constant errors (or lies?), and a lack of follow through. A lot of the information on the website has a legal disclaimer because in the end, it turns out to be inaccurate. ...

Lennar responded:

We appreciate your feedback and would like to apologize for the frustrations you experienced during the buying process of your new home. Overall we are happy with the whole process of moving. There are some issues with the responsiveness and accountability of the team. We feel like there are too many people involved in the process and no point person to whom to direct complaints. Not very happy with the coordination of the project.
