The buying process with agent was great. It’s when things were not up to standards and you get no help it’s the problem. We still have a damaged bathroom we can not use. The build is sloppy and there’s a lot of things that look like they were rushed. Cutting corners. The sales part was good but not sure I would buy another Lennar again.

Well, for what I paid, the quality of materials and attention to detail is pretty mediocre. Things are crooked, painting is incomplete, the seams of the drywall where were they taped is coming through, there was little thought given when it comes to the practicality of the design, specifically in the master bathroom but in other areas of the home as well. Yes, I can send in requests for the first year to fix some of the issues but some of them aren't worth the headache, so I'll deal with it. I realize I am being petty on some of this, but for 2 million dollars, I had higher expectations. No ...

The home itself is nice, but the title company was not helpful. Kurtis the sales guy was nice and helped as best he could. Overall, we like the property but are unsure if we would buy lennar again.

I have experienced some major issues after moving-in including 1) heater not working due to wrong wire used 2)water flooding the whole first floor and constructional debris found in the pumping 3)water leaks from shower in the main bathroom as glass not sealed at all. I am honestly very disappointed on the quality of the work. The responsiveness to issues are great and I am thankful to that, but I would rather hope the quality can be controlled at first....

Make sure you do a thorough review of all post-build finishes as many things needed additional upkeep and corrections (e.g., flimsy doors, unclean installations, etc.)

Lennar - Overall experience has not been pleasant.

Overall experience has not been pleasant. From the sale process to the closing process and then to moving in has not been pleasant. The sales process was not transparent when we were on the waiting list. When we were walking through, we were not comfortable with the construction manager asking us if we expect everything to be perfect! When closing the worst has been Lennar Concierge who never once responded to our queries- this has been the worst experience. When we moved in, AC was not working, doors started to creak within a week and we did not appreciate the fact that we had to install and ...

Lennar - I just wish the materials used in our home were much better quality

I just wish the materials used in our home were much better quality . Not like our interior kitchen cabinets which are so cheap with no quality. The shelves inside our kitchen cabinets already are going bad after 4 months . Same with quality and type of paints they used in our rooms . Very cheap . Super weak and cheap materials

Exterior stucco & concrete base of garage wall requires better quality workmanship.
- Hang Thai D.
- Verified HomeBuyer
- October 23, 2024

Exterior stucco at many places looks sloppy, with holes, wire mesh exposed, stucco accumulating at bottom of walls. Base of garage wall, concrete lumpy, not a finished look like with other builder’s concrete base of garage wall. Shea Homes garage - base of wall looks smooth & finished. Lennar’s concrete base look so un-finished, not smooth - very poorly done. It’s s big difference how both look next to each other, in pic, when compared. Customer Care Service not easy to get repairs. A little difficult, many checks & inquiries as screening, before repairs to be done. Customer ...

Terrible home orientation
- Seyed Alireza S.
- Verified HomeBuyer
- May 23, 2024

The mortgage and sales people were great and very helpful, however the home orientation experience was nothing short of horrific. I asked for fixes that to this day have not been implemented (almost 2 months after closing). My home orientation person seemed to be completed ambivalent to our needs, would not respond unless repeatedly contacted. We did a home inspection report and it literally took a month for this guy to finally address the issues (1 still hasn't to this day) after repeated attempts. I called the main call center and asked specifically to be assigned to a different home ...

Overall we are happy with the whole process of moving. There are some issues with the responsiveness and accountability of the team. We feel like there are too many people involved in the process and no point person to whom to direct complaints. Not very happy with the coordination of the project.

Condescending attitudes from customer service and sloppy finishes
- Christina J.
- Verified HomeBuyer

Avoid buying move-in ready homes - you forego the ability to check their work before walls go up. Judging from the sloppy finishes, I wouldn't be surprised if there are latent issues that will arise down the line. Already, I'm dealing with failing grout (within a month of closing) that they attempted to use grout in a tube to fix. Of course it's not holding and they believe owners are clueless enough to believe this is an actual fix and literally stand there arguing (justifying) all the issues in the home.

Have closed escrow 2 months ago but until now Ge dishwasher hasnt worked. Garage doors are 2 different appearance , “temporary garage doors” according to them but theyndont know when new garage doors will come. Too loud noise from hallway bathrooms , told my kids not to shower after 9 as it is like in wall the water sound. I think needs more insulation. I really regretted that i bought it at this price and comes with a lot of issues. And refrigerator door is uneven and and rough metal sticking out of water dispenser , all was requested as service but nothing happening. 2 months ! This is my ...

Main issue has been the elevator where they clearly cut corners and should have worried more about safety

We felt the sales and financing process was professionally handled. However, once in the unit, we had to invest a lot of time dealing with construction related issues. We still have none of the smart home features working since we ran out of steam to deal with that after fixing the elevator mechanics and finally getting phone connectivity in the elevator so that the next time the elevator gets stuck and someone is trapped inside, they have a lifeline.

Lennar - Our salesperson, Donna, was exceptional.

Our salesperson, Donna, was exceptional. It made our home buying experience painless and less stressful. She totally understood our situation (buying and selling our home). The aftersales is a totally different experience. Doug, our Customer service rep, is good but can only do so much. The vendors we dealt with (GE-ref issue and AC issue) were rude, not very understanding and total opposite of Lennar's sales team which sort of negates the good experience we had from the start. This is not our first new home buying experience and will not be the last. Hopefully, it will be better next ...

What we thought would be a simple buying process as options are already picked. However, the quality of materials and parts is subpar, builder clearly does not do thorough inspections before closing to ensure all items are working. Submitted 23 items for repair after moving in. 2 months since closing and only 8 items have been resolved.

The Carpet in my master bedroom has paint stains on it and is very dirty from all the construction workers. Lennar should have it professionally cleaned, after all I bought a brand new condo with a brand new carpet, it should look like one, and it doesn't ! I feel cheated !

The team of staff that made sure the COE is met on time on its deadline did an excellent job that helped me move in. The staff that provided the keys, instructions, etc were great. The stressful disappointment start from Lennar customer care completing issues requested. The resolutions were not acceptable. Please just refer to my requested completion of issues. Second to this is not being provided recycle and trash bins by Republic services going on 6 weeks now. I have been living for so many years in CA and never did I experience this sloppy delivery of service.

Felt like an old style three bedroom apartment. Sharing bathroom especially. Your architect Do not know how to use the space smartly wasted a lot of space . 1. For the price we paid it is not worth I felt 2. Agents pushed us into it when I was away from the country 3. For two bedrooms one bath room 4. 2.1 mil house and no pantry 5. No compensation for the buyer agent Overall my experience with you guys is very unsatisfactory

The overall purchase experience from reserving to closing could have been better. We find different folks from sales support to loan, there always been some errors or omissions. After closing, we did a walkthrough the home, and we immediately find out when we standing in the kitchen, the floor bounces when the garage fire door closes. We then test the stability of the floor with others walking around the house, and we also felt the floor slightly bounces as others walk around the home. We mentioned to Lennar representatives but he asked us to submit a response. We also can hear neighbor ...

I hate Lennar's Everything's Included program. Buyers spend hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions for their homes and can't even do something as simple as select what color cabinets or countertops we get. The Everything's Included program is just a way for them to streamline their building process, make as many homes as fast as possible without giving buyers the option to make a house a home.
