My Grant Deed showed description of the property with HS (home site) number without the actual address in it. And Lennar Title Co. refused to fix this issue.

Honest experience as a first time home buyer. Lennar is only great front facing surface level. They sell you well and are responsive only in the selling phase. The second I paid my deposit and they secured my payment, they basically were unresponsive. We had to proof various documents - a lot of the info was wrong. Even after asking for a revision, they’ll get the same info wrong on a different document. They couldn’t get my HOA price right - I had to correct them on their own rates four times. I've talked with my new neighbors and we all agree that Lennar has the best home designs. Lennar floorplans and communities work really well for modern family life. They are in great locations with clever designs, efficient use of space, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, that's the only positive part of the experience. The sales and post sales experience is terrible suffering from a complete lack of communication, constant errors (or lies?), and a lack of follow through. Just plain bad buying experience despite not even financing

Poor communication throughout the process. Failure of staff to communicate information and process things and respond to questions and queries in a timely manner if at all despite not even even financing the purchase. Poor complication at every level - sales, title, on site, etc….trying to get answers to anything during the process was someone kicking the can or passing the. Ucla to someone else who passed it to the next one and on and on. Also staff doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing or have the right information. Yup, overall just plain bad and glad it’s over.

Choice is theirs. But do not expect a lot. Quality might be lot lower than expectation of buyers. Everyone who saw my house felt sorry for me. And check their included GE appliances especially. Not even buyers choice but buyers will have to deal with the problem.

New home but continuously vibrating, cracks visible after 2 months moving in with Lennar

I would not buy a new home with Lennar again. I paid ~$950K for a house moving in Jun 2024 that vibrates so often during days and nights whenever there is big cars running on the main street, and the shaking becomes very strong (feel like 3-4 degree Earthquakes) whenever there is a train passing by the train track which is a few blocks away from my house. And the trains pass by 3 - 4 times per day, sometimes at late mid night which makes it worse. My family had really bad times lacking of sleep and tried to get used to with the vibration and the shaking. The house also starts showing cracks ...

If this time my options were more open I would not have bought from Lennar. All employees and associates are irresponsible and does business as if they didn’t want customers or wouldn’t do business ever again. Their knowledge was shocking in many instances lying to me. The craftsmanship and details of the build is way below bar. Over all very regretful experience. Would never recommend.

We have been so disappointed in the quality of our brand new home. We have only been here a little over a month and we have uneven floors, wood boring beetles, malfunctioning appliances, broken roof tiles, construction debris, and more. Every time we have Lennar come fix something, they either miss the appointment, show up with the wrong materials, or can't fix the issue. It took them 4 tries to fix a single dented panel on the garage. 3 times to fix a small area of drywall. Moreover, they first try to tell us, we are mistaken and that it isn't an issue. There were a lot of issues with communications. No one could get on the same page and they still dont even have my email updated. Pretty ridiculous considering the amount of money spent. The walls are paper thin and cheap insulation was used. I would not purchase a lennar home again.
