After moving here, it is sad to see how the community is NOT kept up by Lennar. We pay HOA to not have an actual ***** until the buildout is complete? That should be disclosed at the purchase of the home. Concierge is non-responsive when you email her.

Our realtor, Marla, told us all kinds of false information just to make the sale. We called her out on a majority of it and she would try to back track. One example is that the ***** fees would be taken out of our mortgage to make things easier and that's been proven to be wrong. When doing the walk through, excuses were made for every building mistake made and some were not fixed because "it's a new house". For example, there were cracks around every window sill and door frame and we were told it was bound to happen because the house was settling (even though the house was built less than a month prior). Some of the flooring with the carpet is uneven and barely fixed or documented. Definitely shows that Lennar produces fast homes and charges more than they should for the product. ... More

Overall I am very happy with our new home. The purchase process was surprisingly simple. I bought a quick move in home so I cannot speak on the design process. Quality of the workmanship is good, love some of the design features that were considered standard, one of which would be an absolute must going forward. Moving in went well, only a couple minor issues but Lennar was very responsive and quick to resolve them. If I had it to do all over again, would definitely purchase again

This was an entirely new experience for me. So from start to finish, I felt this home buying process when so smoothly and quite quickly. Never in a million years had I thought we'd be in a new build home. Lennar worked hard in getting us into a new home. We are pleased with the craftsmanship so far,only been in our home for about 2 months and have had 2 is*****s ,one with wiring and the second a ventilation is*****. It was handled quickly and that was much appreciated.

My experience with Lennar was outstanding from beginning to end. The sales team was professional, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel pressured. The quality of the homes, thoughtful floor plans, and included features offered excellent value compared to other builders I visited. Throughout the process, communication was consistent, and the team kept me informed every step of the way. They were responsive to my concerns and worked to ensure everything was addressed promptly. The home quality and workmanship is excellent. We also had the greatest sales woman ever, Ms. Marla, who was amazing with helping us out during our long process.

Lack of responsiveness from sales staff.

Barbara wasn't friendly and Noah who did the walk through wasn't helpful at all. During the final walk through he only had 5 minutes to go through the house. There were so many things that were still wrong with the house and no information on who to send the claim form. The communication was bad from everyone at Lennar. I wish I went with another choice.

Our experience with Lennar has been extremely disappointing, particularly regarding the backyard of our new home. The plans and information provided during the purchase process did not accurately represent the condition of the lot. We expected a relatively manageable backyard slope, but the completed home was delivered with a steep embankment approximately 15–17 feet high, taking up a significant portion of the usable yard. During our walkthrough, the construction manager acknowledged that there had been an engineering or communication error. Despite this acknowledgment, Lennar did not offer a solution proportionate to the severity of the problem. We were offered only a $5,000 credit or the option to move to another lot, even though properly addressing the slope, drainage, and retaining-wall concerns could cost tens of thousands of dollars. We raised the is***** well before closing and repeatedly attempted to reach a fair resolution. Communication was inconsistent, responsibility was passed between representatives, and we never felt that our concerns were treated with the urgency or transparency they deserved. The home itself has some positive features, but the backyard is***** substantially affects the property’s usability, safety, appearance, and potential future cost. Based on our experience, buyers should carefully compare the grading plans with the actual lot conditions, request all representations in writing, and independently evaluate any slopes, drainage, or retaining-wall requirements before closing. I didnt like my encounter with sales rep Pete. Did not respond appropriately with my questions during the home buying process. One time he was late and no apologies.

The purchase experience was a little shaky.I end up having to get an outside lender. Then, I've had some issues with my home and it took a while for them to fix them. I still don't have any kind of response with the h*. A or anyone else that's running this show. In this gated community an hour and a half

I was selling and buying at the same time. There was no transparency from the Lennar team on issues with appraisal causing delays affecting close on new purchase. This caused for a very stressful close that could have been avoided. Communication was poor!

Overall, I am very grateful to have completed the purchase process and moved into my home. However, the overall experience during the transaction was stressful and felt unnecessarily prolonged at times. The process often seemed unorganized, particularly when it came to completing and coordinating paperwork with the senior loan processor. Communication regarding required documents and signing timelines was frustrating, as many requests felt extremely last-minute and time sensitive. I felt that we did a good job submitting the required documents promptly whenever they were requested. However, whenever we asked for additional time or clarification, the process still felt very rushed and high pressure along with next to no clarification. There were multiple occasions where documents were requested with very short notice, while at the same time there were warnings that escrow could be delayed if they were not submitted immediately. Although I understand that deadlines are important during a home purchase, the process felt overwhelming due to the lack of organization and the urgency surrounding document requests. Making contact with the senior loan processors was also next to impossible by phone. I found myself needing to contact them directly to clarify information and receive clarification about certain documents asked of me in the emails sent but was never able to contact the senior loan advisor. I found myself having to contact the loan officer (Ms. Dewey which did an outstanding job she needs a raise) every time I needed clarification on documents and was extremely well knowing of the process and what I needed to complete tasks. If it wasn’t for Ms. Dewey I would have not been able to purchase this home. Thank you Dewey you were awesome. For the quality of the home if feel like everything was just ok nothing special nor bad. I can absolutely say that the type of work and mindset from Lennar is cheap. A lot of corner cutting and a “if it’s not completely broken we’re not fixing it mindset” which I absolutely did not like. Another note to mention is the lack of information when it came to solar and poorly knowing that solar panels would not be set up and turned on as soon as I moved in. I absolutely would NOT recommend and wouldn’t purchase from Lennar again knowing this would be the plan to purchase. Overall a very stressful and expensive purchase. ... More

My name is DeMarco Washington. I was kept being pushed and rushed to complete documents towards the middle and end of the home buying process. There was a handful of resends on Lennar's end as well with most of those documents. Also, I was promised and confirmed that I would get a fridge, washer and dryer on move in day and that wasn't there. I didn't have these items until a week and a half AFTER I moved in. I had food spoiled and laundry built up dirty.

We had a great homebuying experience with Lennar. The staff were helpful and nice, everything has gone as planned and within the correct time frame. They're knowledgeable about helping us find resources, that helped us get closer to our new home. Everytime we had a service request or questions they accommodate us right away. We also love our new neighborhood.

If we are talking quality and craftsmanship, I suggest to shop around at other builders to see their offerings before making a final decision here. If we are talking communication with the sales team, their leadership, the lender, etc.,during the home buying process - decline to further comment.

I had a fast closing since they wanted me to close prior to the quarter ending. They forget you have a career yourself and threaten you with the You need to submit the requested documents within 24 hours. My loan processor was the only reason I stayed In this.. There are hundreds of new homes in this area from competitor builders and I almost walked 3x. I was even told by the rep that work at the tour building for the community well if you think you can find better why are you here? I responded this is my 2nd tour to confirm if I want to confirm but I’ll take my VA home loan and go somewhere else easily… We are highly seeked after in this area.. But overall once it was over everything was great. Sucks they’re still building new homes and these windows don’t block noise so at 0700 you better be fully away. I’m off Fridays and there’s no sleeping in. I know what I signed up for so it’s expected still sucks.. So yes besides the sales rep and document demand it was smooth ... More
