Choosing upgrades with Lennar is a joke. For example floor upgrading means paying extra for having tile for areas where make sense to have tile, but Lennar standard is carpet. The interior designer who works with Lennar in my case have not finished installing my window shutters at the time that I'm writing this review (moved in 3 months ago). The quality of the shutters is low since they usually ordered from Mexico to reduce the cost. They have a contract with a local shutter provider which are not responsive to any emails and phone calls. They already send the installer twice with ...

We initially looked at quite a few new houses by at least 5 different builders. After considering all the factors important to us, the top 2 communities were both by Lennar. The process of buying working with Sophie was very smooth. She is very professional, attends to details and always quick in responding to our questions. We are also very pleased with Carlos, who did the walk through with us and till this day is still very attentive to our needs. We love our new Lennar home.

The maintenance and after-sales response of the house after purchase is too slow

The bathroom in the master bedroom is leaking to the first floor, the walls are also flawed, the vegetable sink is also leaking, the bathtub is scratched and I will not be repaired, the steps of the front door are cracked, the glue on the floor leather joints on the first floor is leaking, and the alarm inside the doorbell does not make a sound. The experience is too bad for people to handle the maintenance. I hope someone can help to solve it.

I decided to give new home buying a shot. I’ve purchased four primary homes in the last 10 years so yes I do have some experience. However new home buying with Lennar has been nothing but painful. I think their intents were right but the execution was horrible. First off, each dept doesn’t care about their peers so they just push accountability around. Second, the loan dept was the worst I’ve used ever. Didn’t really have a choice as their deal was the best for rate. I was excited about my home purchase with Lennar, however I became locked into a solar lease contract despite signing documents to purchase the solar system from Sunnova. I have sent numerous emails and text messages trying to get the issue sorted out and no one from Lennar sales or Lennar mortgage has reached out to me with a response to hear my concerns about this very expensive oversight in my paperwork. For the price I paid for this home I am bummed out about the aftercare customer service I’ve received. If anyone from Lennar is reading this I’d hope to receive a reply. Thank you.

I have run into couple of issues from closing to emergency issues. My closing date have been changed for about 4 times and i have been stranded with my family. My rental and storage payment that was promised was never paid. The buying experience was great. The only thing we could have asked was for a little more communication. The first 9 days in the house were great until the quality of workmanship showed with a major sewage backup. While Lennar responded quickly the weeks to follow were a nightmare with no admission of fault. They actually blamed their plumbing company. I felt like a general contractor trying to get it fixed. First day in the house someone (from the looks of things most likely one of the workers on site) stole all the arc fault breakers out of my panel. First day welsome to your new home. Afte approaching Lenar, I was given the "Sorry Charlie get lost" Not much of a warm welcome is it. I spent $1400 of my own money to replace all breakers and have an electrician come out on an emergency call sfter hours. I think Lenar could have done a little bit more....

In our experience, the home buying process at The Province in Indian Wells was terrible, although we love the home, the neighborhood, and our neighbors. The main trouble came from the Representative at the model homes, Corina. Once we opened escrow, this was our point of contact. During escrow, Corina was very uncommunicative, told us wrong or incomplete information countless times, and even almost caused us to lose the house on two different occasions. Javier from Lennar Loan processing has created a very stressful and not pleasant at all. The loan processing and interest rates were delayed and once we were pushed to the corner , they didnt leave us any option but to take the loan. My experience has been difficult especially with Lennar Mortgage and Allen at sales office has been amazing and is trying but could have done better. They don't realize we are deaf and required accessibility at home but not willing to work with us to ensure our home equip with, so we have to pay extra which is not fair as hearing customers have those all set included while we deaf have to buy equipment to go with. Bought a brand new home. A/C already needed fixed. Took 2 weeks to get done and the temperature outside was in the 90s. Also, two months in, we STILL don’t have access to a mail box. Two outlets have stopped working in the kitchen. Solar panels have still not been activated when they said they should be. Overall, disappointed in my overall experience of buying a half a million dollar home.

I was especially impressed with the loan processing team. They processed my loan in such a short period of time, and I was able to close escrow in 3 weeks. Well let’s start with the deception of the sales team or shall I say Abby. She speaks very condescending, she gives false information and misrepresents what you’re purchasing. Then tells you when she gets called out on it “just cancel the transaction then.” Her management doesn’t hold her accountable and they don’t even respond to complaints or concerns so there’s no wonder why she gets away with having poor ethics.
