First day in the house someone (from the looks of things most likely one of the workers on site) stole all the arc fault breakers out of my panel. First day welsome to your new home. Afte approaching Lenar, I was given the "Sorry Charlie get lost" Not much of a warm welcome is it. I spent $1400 of my own money to replace all breakers and have an electrician come out on an emergency call sfter hours. I think Lenar could have done a little bit more....

In our experience, the home buying process at The Province in Indian Wells was terrible, although we love the home, the neighborhood, and our neighbors. The main trouble came from the Representative at the model homes, Corina. Once we opened escrow, this was our point of contact. During escrow, Corina was very uncommunicative, told us wrong or incomplete information countless times, and even almost caused us to lose the house on two different occasions. On the day of closing, which fell on a Friday, Corina dropped the ball once again and we had to drive from Indian Wells to Menifee to the Lennar Escrow office to fix it and close on time (4.5 hour roundtrip drive and had to leave work unexpectedly to do so). Corina and the sales team take Thursdays and Fridays off with no communication or support available, so if your contingencies and or/closing date fall on a Thursday or Friday...beware...you are on your own those days. The unfortunate part is Lennar seems to not care at all about Corina's lack of ability...we have met three other couples that recently bought here that had a terrible experience with Corina's work too, causing a lot of stress during the buying process. Oh...and if you're self employed, bring your own loan. We wanted to take advantage on the $10k in closing costs' credit, but the Lennar loan person didn't have more than 1 year of experience, so he just denied us the loan 4 days before loan contingencies were to lift; we secured our own loan within the four days with no problems, and we had to fight to get the $10k credit even though we "had" to use our own loan officer/company. Javier from Lennar Loan processing has created a very stressful and not pleasant at all. The loan processing and interest rates were delayed and once we were pushed to the corner , they didnt leave us any option but to take the loan. He misguided us when we had an option to go with the private lender.

My experience has been difficult especially with Lennar Mortgage and Allen at sales office has been amazing and is trying but could have done better. They don't realize we are deaf and required accessibility at home but not willing to work with us to ensure our home equip with, so we have to pay extra which is not fair as hearing customers have those all set included while we deaf have to buy equipment to go with. That's really annoying. Builder and office need to be sure they're sync as their floorplan are different than office shows so it's a problem when i noticed errors when they built my house. Offices need to ahead with TV/Internet services once they open new homes here, so they have time to survey and set up ready for us move in especially I'm working at home remotely so that caused me a week missed job due to no internet services. That's really stress me the whole week searching services but had to go with one for now till Frontier to get availability hopefully July 1st and hopefully to buy out the termination fee from current to frontier as my job requires 1 gig whereas my current is only 250 mbps so not great one. It's frustrated. I feel that they owe me for that termination fee as soon as frontier completed and availability in July or so. They said pls complete QR and asked me to call with virtual video. I was like duh I'm deaf so i cannot use virtual while I'm using my relay service as interpreter to call. I called and said I'm deaf so no way I can use that kind of technology. They need to do better when it comes down to deaf customers!! I've been with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for 20 years and 38 years in mortgage industry. I've work with several builders similar as this Lennar. Honestly, they are way much better than this one. I however do love my house than my old house. Through they could do better. I'll be working on ring system that was given to me a box to set up. I was like oh boy we are deaf and not sure if it's requiring for us to hear which is a joke and insult us as customer. Lots of problem with new builds

Bought a brand new home. A/C already needed fixed. Took 2 weeks to get done and the temperature outside was in the 90s. Also, two months in, we STILL don’t have access to a mail box. Two outlets have stopped working in the kitchen. Solar panels have still not been activated when they said they should be. Overall, disappointed in my overall experience of buying a half a million dollar home.

I had a great experience working with the Lennar team from the sales person (Rosalie to the closing notary person (Taylor). Everyone was professional and very friendly. I was especially impressed with the loan processing team. They processed my loan in such a short period of time, and I was able to close escrow in 3 weeks. Thank you Rosalie, Jerry, Megan, Javi, and Taylor for all of your hard, dedicated work!!!!

The lending and purchasing was terrible. I have other co workers and friends who just gave up and didn’t move here because of the process. I’ve shared this a few times with Lennar and no acknowledgement for your sales team. The home itself and lot is amazing.

Well let’s start with the deception of the sales team or shall I say Abby. She speaks very condescending, she gives false information and misrepresents what you’re purchasing. Then tells you when she gets called out on it “just cancel the transaction then.” Her management doesn’t hold her accountable and they don’t even respond to complaints or concerns so there’s no wonder why she gets away with having poor ethics. I have all this in email correspondence to back this up as well. She is very unprofessional and it doesn’t matter because it seems like a company problem. When we did our walk through the first time we found tons of problems. We were told it was a 3 hour long appointment but we felt rushed and were there for 2 and he apparently was filling in for someone else. Half way through my walk through I asked if we were being picky he said no but about 30 minutes later when we noticed the door frame wasn’t painted and window was crooked he then said “ we’ll you are being a bit picky.” For a crooked window? Our sales rep and the lender have been the two pleasant experiences we’ve had. Both very responsive and very professional. The issues we ran into are being addressed thankfully. But would I purchase Lennar again. Ask me in a year because the buying process with lies and the headaches we ran into this far I would advise others not to. ... More

The staff were customer friendly, professional, and patient and answered my questions; I have no complaints, I like the floor plan, and the community is ideal for my daughter and grandchildren. I feel safe and secure, which is a plus for the community.

We’ll breakdown this review into 4 areas Lennar Sales, Lennar Title Services, Building Team, and Warranty. This review is for the Dolce Homesite Lennar Sales (Eileen and Carla) - Our first Dolce sales office experience was with Anastasia and she was great. She took the time to go over the features, explain things, and even took us around the Dolce neighborhood to show us properties and amenities. Her customer service, positive attitude, really sold us on the Dolce community. Sadly, Anastasia wasn’t working at the Dolce location when we came back to start the sales process a couple months later. We ended up having to “deal with” Eileen and her “empty-suit” of a supervisor named Carla. This is where we experienced the most grief. Eileen showed disdain for us from the beginning the moment she learned we had a real estate agent representing us and that we had our own financing. We later learned that those two things typically mean Lennar makes less profit because you aren’t financing through them and less commission potential for Eileen because portion has to go to our agent. After viewing the model we were interested in, we went back through the sales office to exit. We were rudely excused to leave the office to “go grab lunch to work it out” because apparently Eileen didn’t want to listen to my wife and me talk about the house and options were were considering and our financing plans. This visit was in the middle of the week and sales office was empty. Apparently we were a bother to her. This was the tone we experienced from Eileen during the whole sales process. We even tried to escalate to her supervisor Carla who also refused to talk to us other than to say keep her cc:d on emails. When we were done, we had over 200 emails. A large number of those emails being because Eileen’s refusal to answer simple/direct questions, refusing to respond, and laying blame on other Lennar departments. Dealing with her was excruciating and stressful. She exhibited the same unprofessional behavior towards us, our agent, our lender, and even Lennar Title personnel. It’s hard to believe that Lennar has this person as the “face of their company” in the sales office. It was also disappointing that her supervisor Carla refused to participate/engage in any discourse throughout the entire process. We left voicemails for Carla and sent her multiple emails seeking help to intervene that went unanswered. If we didn’t love the house we would have walked away from the deal at this point. Lennar Title Services (Vickie)- Yes! finally some adults in the room. We decided to use Lennar title. They were great through the whole process and worked hand in hand with our lender to get our deal done. They kept Eileen to task who kept trying to place blame/responsibility on the title department for items Lennar Sales should have handled. Their professionalism and customer service helped make this a special moment and kept us from walking away from the deal due to all the frustrations with Eileen. Building Team (Jerry) (pre closing)- he’s a personable guy and decent customer service, but delayed responses probably because he’s overwhelmed with the neighborhood buildout. Our Initial walkthrough was done before electricity was as turned on, there were surprisingly a large number of items we marked for correction, and a few we missed that we had to address via warranty claims post sale. Advice… be that person who goes over things with a fine tooth comb as there doesn’t appear to be great quality control during build. Feels like Lennar should have caught and corrected most of the items we called out during our walkthrough. Warranty (Jerry and various trade teams) - less than stellar. You aren’t a priority now that they have your money. Opening warranty claims is easy enough via their web portal, but it basically gets rerouted back to Jerry who has to engage the various trade teams (plumbing, drywall, counters, etc.). Feels like a second job having to send multiple reminder emails just to get an appointment for inspecting your claims and that is after you do a virtual inspection via phone call and picture submission. We are roughly 2 month living at the house and the majority of the items are still open unresolved. Advice..take your time and inspect EVERYTHING in great detail during your walkthrough. ... More

From start to finish Lennar team made the process smooth and transparent. I got a lower rate, better house and all without the haggle of todays bid wars. I m beyond pleased with how he’d the team worked to get me in the house. Now that we are in, we are very happy with the home overall.

After many years of seeing Lennar home sites throughout California, my wife and I decided to purchase one. One of the things we saw on all signs was Lennar’s “ei” everything included. My experience is nothing is included. The level of “cheap” rings thru day after day. We’ve only closed escrow less than two months and are having issues. To be fair maybe this is common for all home builders to be somewhat cheap? I would not recommend Lennar to anyone, based on our experience.

My experience at Lennar was great. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. The staff at the home center was great! The process was relatively quick and communication was great!! I love my new home

The house is great, we have had a couple of issues, but customer service, took care of it.

My biggest complaint is the quality of workmanship. I don't have the time or space to list all of the issues but I'll sum it up with this. It must have been bring your kids to work day and they let their kids build the house...drunk!

They changed the building code to have your drain pipe from your hvac system to drain in your master bedroom sink and it makes a loud gurgling sound every time the heater or a/c is turned on so it’s impossible to get sleep. They won’t come and reroute it either. I wish I would have used my realtor instead of their’s. I would not recommend using their loan officer, get your own! worst experience I have ever had buying a house. I will never buy another lennar home.

Its was a great experience we love the team of lennar who help us find the perfect home thank you so much we love the experience. I would refer all My friends and family to buy from only lennar

Promised work to be done to the house takes way too long. It’s been almost 2 months and still not all complete. Warranty claim process also lacks priority. When submitting claims on portal, virtual appointment takes a full week and the actual work to be done another few weeks after that. Sometimes the guys say they show up and they don’t show up. Overall, Lennar builds good quality homes. As long as those warranty and promised work gets completed, I have no other complaints besides how long it’s been taking.

My wife saw this dream home last year and I thought there was no way to obtain it. I had been going back and forth to another new housing development; near by. My family has been to the model home frequently. The sales rep was was very nice and knowledgeable. Very please with new purchase agreement. This is my second Lennar home and I believe they set the bar with this next gen.

Lennar was amazing to work with from the first meeting with the sales agent to view the home, throughout the loan process, property closing, and timely follow up with any questions and concerns. Our new home is beautiful and features the latest of amenities. The entire home buying process was the least stressful we have experienced to date!

We love our new home and the buying experience was a breeze. Starting with Merry. She’s always available to answer questions. The only downfall have been the touch ups and repairs we need. 90% of which were pointed out on our initial walk through. It’s been almost 2 months since we moved in and only 2 repairs have been done. Some repairs have done more damage. The heat didn’t work and there was no thermostat prior to moving in. We were told they would be fixed. Wall are thermostat is so dirty from installation. Heat didn’t work after moving in. When they finally fixed it, the attic access is so dirty.
