The workmanship of my new home is very high. The only problem I had was with the sales staff here at University Park (Palm Desert, CA). The Lennar New Home Consultant’s after the sale custom service was less than acceptable. I had to contact her supervisor to voice my displeasure in order to get positive responses back from the NHC. The NHC was not able to assist me with answering basic questions like, what’s the cause of the delay in closing? (I was given the name and number of the Construction Manager and told to call him myself to find out!) On the positive side, the Lennar Mortgage Team was great! Dan and his team made everything easy and painless. Another positive note, Stacey at the design center was extremely helpful in helping me pick out my flooring. I loved everything about the experience. My ONLY complaint was with ANABEL, the rep who gave the 2 walk-throughs once my home was complete. She was NOT flexible with her scheduling which caused me to leave work both times, she rushed thru the walkthru..she could have just handed me the brochures to read because her presentation and customer service was horrible. She asked me to tell her for the most minut issues. I pointed out a couple and she NEVER followed up.

We felt Lennar rushed in building the homes so there were lots of little mistakes with paint, drawer handles to shower glass doors not properly installed, etc. I guess this is what we have to expect in purchasing a newly built home. But overall, Lennar does a great job of building a very efficient smart home. You get a great value for your money. The on-site team are great and always willing to assist with any issues on the house.

Overall it was a great Experience!! There was little issues when we 1st moved in, but that’s the nice part of having a new place with warranty, then buying as is. Lennar came out and fixed the issue and with any other issues, they are still coming out to check and fix issues . With that a HUGE shout out to Rudy! And another reason for the 5 star on trustworthy! When they say they’re gonna come out to help or fix …. You can trust him!!! A true professional!! For the price, it was good but of course, everyone would say would be nice if it was cheaper lol. Wish there were more upgrade options, such as Ethernet wiring to all rooms.

The home buying experience has been an interesting one to say the least. I have owned a home prior but not a new home so the steps involved with the new construction process when I moved in has been different. Lennar has contacted me about all of my service / work orders. The issues I seem to be having are because of issues that are not Lennar specific but more of the contacted work. Lennar has been responsive and let me know who I need to call to get things corrected or had that company contact me.

Horrible experience with a few employees that did their job well. Initial walk through of the home showed build quality and finishing touches were mediocre with cracked shower fiberglass to deep scratched windows to paint drops on the kitchen floor to drawers scratched. Kristine took care of it professionally and quickly. We have lived in our house for a month and have multiple large cracks in our sheet rock where the ceiling meets the wall. The home is beautiful but the whole experience of buying was horrible

Excellent Customer Service that is great

The home-buying process was super smooth, and did not have any issues whatsoever. The entire Lennar team were friendly and answered all questions i had about the home and community.

It took days to get a virtual meeting just to explain the problem and then weeks before anyone responded to fix the garbage disposal. The furnace didn't work and it took over a week to get anyone here to fix it. It was in the 30s at night and we were freezing. Don't like the delay for the virtual response. Better for Lennar, not me. Other small problems also took a very long time to get attention.

Jay, Michael and the entire Lennar Team are great to work with and they would make you feel that you are in great hands from start to finish. Jay and Michael are very knowledgeable on what they do, very friendly, accommodating and immediately attended to all my queries and concerns to my utmost satisfaction. Kudos to the entire Lennar Team and Thank you so much for being part of my journey of achieving my Dream Home in a Lennar Community!

This has been a great first time home buying experience. My sales agent Laurie was superb and was there to assist and navigate along the way. Leslie was also amazing with answering any loan or finance questions and ensure alignment with the title company/requirements. Again, amazing experience and team. All backend/pending follow up items have been addressed or completed. Kristine has worked closely with me to complete all service request and assisting with all pending installations. Amazing team, I would highly recommend any first time home buyers or homebuyers work with Lennar - their Customer service and for simply ensuring what could be a stressful process, very seamless and exciting!! Thankful for my personal experience and seeing the smile on my baby girls face in the end was priceless. This is a very good experience to buy a new home with Lenner, the sale person and mortgage officer Wes helpful and knowledgeable, it makes the whole process very smooth and easy. Lenner is quite a reputable company and responsible for all the mistakes they made very reasonable. Stephen

I was able to complete this purchase without taking much time off of work as possible and I was always confident in my purchase because this is the second home I’ve purchased from them. Top notch quality and labor as I inspected the house weekly and customer service that can’t be Beat. You’ll find your forever home here

Fast to build the house and good quality inside of house. Workers are very responsive and friendly.

The walk through would best be done after move in...overwhelming before. Retention of info would make sense after becoming familiar. Front yard landscape is unappealing. Warn new buyers untrustworthy solicitors seeking landscape, concrete jobs.

There were ups and downs, as expected during a buying process. Overall, the experience was absolutely wonderful and best of all we had a team that was informative and understanding. The house is beautiful. Thank you Lennar!

My home buying process was a complete nightmare. Initially the process was quite easy, but as we were getting closer to close escrow, there were a LOT of mistakes made on Lennar's end, lack of communication, and extremely inefficient. The quality of materials used was not the best, and the workmanship was poor. Even when I caught issues that needed to be fixed during the walkthrough, there were several items that were never fixed and I either had to fix them myself or go through the complaint process which prolonged even more. I would not recommend Lennar to purchase a home.

The worst experience one can have, bought this house for more than $1M and the quality of the house is extremely low. The customer service and warranty services are disaster, vendors takes months and months to even address the issues those have posted even prior to closing the escrow. I have purchased houses through other builders and I could see a big difference in the quality. If you can't make it right in the first place then at least try to be customer obsession and insisting on the higher standard but providing great customer service to make it out as warranties. It was fine with the process, except at the closing escrow, it was kind of disapointed due to 3 times and extended, was hectic and not our fault at all. The quality of materials not specified until now. The issues that we found after the second walk, not yet fixed.

I’ll just say it this way, every delay and problem should not be blamed on supply chain. The process to get help for warranty feels like a tribunal. You have to prove and show the problem with your camera to customer service. They have a guy on site that can easily verify, why not use him? For us, they tore up our yard to finish construction of a wall and have not even repaired the yard yet. They didn’t discuss the size of the wall with us when we were directly impacted by it. (I think it’s is too tall) Our front yard trees look misplaced now because of the new wall. Should they be moved? Yes! Will they? Likely no because it would take a really concerned designer’s eye to know and then do this. I should not have to beg for them to finish the mess they made (been a month!). The lending office was absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend. The design office was incredibly expensive and I do not recommend. The sales office was friendly and helpful but was off on the cost of flooring upgrade by 100%. The neighborhood is awesome and I strongly recommend people to buy. The overall score of 4 is due to the price of flooring, the process for warranty, and the lack of concern and responsiveness for our yard. Hope this helps you in your decision to buy. ... More
