Perfect house in every way

Very good homes but the mortgage process needs improvement

Our Lender was absolutely horrible and would never refer anyone to utilize LENNAR mortgage

Our home was closed in February 2022, it wasn’t a good experience in general. 1. Lennar Mortgage: The loan agent assigned to our area was not prompt at all. Usually no response to emails until a few days later that we chased him. Up until the closing day the document issued still had errors and we caught it. We originally didn’t plan on going with Lennar Mortgage but as the rates soared 2 months before closing, we chose Lennar because of the credit they offered. We submitted the application but we were never told you’re approved nor their portal showed anything. We kept asking the loan agent and never got an straight answer. You can imagine how difficult the communication was. 2. We did LVP after move in and found out the floor was very uneven. Some places fit thru my index finger between the floor and the leveler but the builder said this is within tolerance. Many many dips across the house. 3. My friends bought a home with KB home and during the building process, KB emailed them progress update with pictures of the home on a weekly basis which I think it’s awesome. Lennar doesn’t have that kind of service. 4. Lennar installed the wrong color of cabinets and we found out 1 week before closing when we got the appraisal report. They sent us a compensation amount but in a take it or leave it approach, that if we didn’t take it they have customers in line to sell to. We had no say in anything. 5. On closing day we got our keys and a map of our mail box location and number. We went there to test it but can’t open it. We asked the sales agent who gave us the map and keys, and he said: oh yea, just try it out on a nearby one across street. He didn’t even bother to help us check. ... More

We had a great experience buying our home with Lennar. Everyone has been above and beyond helpful anytime I’ve called with questions and concerns. They have been patient diligent and on top of their game.

Lennar is there for you even after closing.

This my my 2nd Lennar purchase, 1st purchase was a great experience, after this 2nd purchase, I could not recommend Lennar Homes in DHS due to vendors/contractors and, they have really cheapened their homes products.

Everyone from the General Contractors, Finance Team, and especially the Sales Team, all were a big help. Every question we had we got answers and we love everything about our brand new home. We will recommend Lennar to any of our family and friends that want to purchase a brand new home.

Keep buyers informed every week or so on the progress of your new home build.

It would be beneficial for a Representative of the HOA to be involved in the Purchasing process to provide valuable Information to buyers regarding HOA rules and regulations re: front and back yard landscaping etc. I am finding it challenging to adhere to all the regulations for Installing landscaping. It would be helpful to provide some HOA Approved Business Referrals to members for an easier transition. Thank you.

Like any other home, I imagine there were small problems that would pop up but were generally quickly handled by Lennar. The sinks in the home all around are absolutely terrible. None are designed to drain food and water. They are mostly flat and therefore don't drain very well. The kitchen sink particularly would have been better off with a 2 basin sink that actually allowed itmes to flow downward and drain.

There were some issues at the tail end but were quickly resolved. All in all it was a fantastic experience.

The quality of materials used to build the home is top notch. Also the built-in technology is great, such as solar panels, water leak detection, sprinkler system, fire alarm, ring alarm, etc. Customer Care has been quite responsive to resolving issues.

The initial experience wasn't great and even after moving in I feel like the sales team don't value the residence...no welcome gift, no follow up. BUT the building team lead by Eric have been amazing in addressing concerns inside the home from paint to drywall to electrical to back ordered items. He makes you feel like he cares that you are there and wants you to really feel at home in your new home.

Tara our sales rep was super helpful & truly made it an enjoyable experience buying our first home. God made the way! He set us up with her for a reason. We had many questions and she definitely never made us feel we were a nuisance and helped us the best way she can, if she couldn’t, she gave us options and recommendations. Troy & Eric from the construction team kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. They sent photos as they progressed with the build. The entire team from sale to mortgage application was very helpful. However, escrow was less than enthusiastic to answer questions in general. Unlike some of my neighbors, no major issues with quality of workmanship and materials. Still don't know whether the garage door and color are built to original specifications; wait time for the subcontractors to respond and to do minor repairs have been too long and is too earlier to tell the lease of the solar system is a good deal.

Had issues with the building team and the loan team that made the home buying process a living hell. There was not one sole person of contact on the building team that was responsible for communicating with me and getting issues pointed out at walkthroughs resolved. No one wants to do their job, no one is on quality control for the subcontractors, it’s been an absolute headache that has sucked all the joy out of being an owner of a brand new Lennar home, and I am moved in and still dealing with issues and can’t get an answer back on things. Several Lennar employees have told me “that’s not my job” when asked normal and reasonable things of them, and that sums it up perfectly. ... More
