Inspect your new home on your first walk through and final walk through. Don’t sign off until EVERYTHING and anything you want fixed or changed is done. If you sign off and then complain later their responds will be, “ You signed off on the home.” Take a contractor you trust to inspect the home prior to signing off.

We just recently bought a home in Rosena Ranch from a Lennar community. Since we've moved in, we have had to call service quite a few times for issues that should not be happening in a new home. For example, our handrail on the stairs are already having separation from the wall. It is under warranty and will get fixed, but it is very inconvenient especially because the contractors have to schedule so far out. These things should not be happening in a new home. I don't know if I trust Lennar's workmanship. The backyard was done very cheaply as well and all the neighbors complain about the ...

great design of the single level home but poor workmanship

We love the house itself. We were disappointed that Lennar only installed 1 outside hose spigot in the middle of the enclosed patio and also 1 "inside" of the garage. Both are difficult to use. We had to spend a lot of money to trench the side yard to install water to the back yard. The grading in the back was terrible and we, again, had to pay quite a bit to grade it before landscaping. Lots of small things were wrong and at first the response to fix them were quick, and now we just wait and wait until someone corrects other issues. Our entire experience has been amazing from the agents that helped us buy, to the mortgage and escrow companies. If we had any sort of concern there was always someone available to answer our questions. We had a few things that needed to be fixed when we moved in and they had people right on top of it. All repairs were completed very quickly and they did a fantastic job. We could not be happier with our new home in Heritage Heights.

This is my very first house, and I've shopped around. I've seen lots of other builders and nothing matches up to what Lennar brought me. Got a great deal on pricing, over service was impeccable, and the smart home thing they're pushing for really sealed the deal for me. House was basically move in ready with all these lovely gadgets.

Need to slow down the construction a bit and put a little more pride in the build. After purchasing my home I began to see the “quick fix” repairs around the house. Also do a better job with the fencing. There are three different fences in the community. It looks tacky.

my best experience was working with George. How he went through each and every room and explain how everything works. I've bought from Lennar before. In fact my first purchase was in Rosena Ranch. From that experience to this one is night and day. Honestly, back in 2011 when I purchased the home in Rosena Ranch. It felt like they just wanted to sell as many homes as they can. It was a bad experience from the beginning. For example my house was broken into the first day I got my keys by the contractors.
