The homebuying experience was rough. First, we were not allowed to use an agent, which made me feel at the mercy of Lennar when going through the process. Second, our home concierge was terrible. She would update us on the status of the house late in the night. On inspection day, the house was not ready and had to reschedule after we were already present at the appointment. Finally, they moved our closing date only a few days after were expected to close and put up a fight after we requested to close two days after the proposed closing date. Still new at the property. Discovered some minor issues. Tried to use the online portal to report them but, it doesn’t really work. The electrical issues reported to the contractor but still not fixed. It took them about 3 weeks to fix the broken fence.

Horrible communication with all parties involved with Lennar. Lennar agent saw us show up with our realtor and advised us last minute that we would not be able to use him. We were pretty much on our own throughout the whole process.

Unhappy with your sales team, and terribly unhappy with the Lennar loan process. Promises made but we're not fulfilled and my sales lady was not at all helpful. When I asked her for help, I got nothing but referrals with no interest in trying to be helpful.... Just excuses.

The home buying expereince was seemless except for the rate. The models are really and the home build quality looks extremely good. The support after we moved in was a bit okay and has room for improvement. What I hated the most in the home buying process is the sales rep said that they have interest rates specials but would quote different rates and would defer it to the lender. The lender quotes different rates to different people and when asked about matching the rate that my friend got, she asks me to check with the sales rep and they just blame each other and finally I had to go with ...

Poor experience with receiving keys difficult process

When I closed on home I took a while to pick up the keys. Explained I had to go somewhere 20 miles away to pick up the keys. Also the person said someone might rob and break in my new home which scared me because now I feel unsafe in my new home

I was initially drawn to the design of the home. The design and the actual house is ok but the entire process was bad. The entire process was transactional and it was not at all efficient. I never felt like a valued home buyer. Support was lacking and at times several departments from Lennar does not seem to know what is happening. I have heard this same experience from others that actually bought my old home instead of a new home from Lennar. Customer Service is definitely below average.

My overall experience buying a home with Lennar was great. The house and the community are beautiful, and the process was mostly smooth. However, the only negative aspect of the experience was dealing with Lennar Mortgage. In the final two weeks before closing, the mortgage process caused a lot of anxiety due to delays, ober the top strict underwriting, and miscommunications, ultimately leading me to switch to another lender. Despite this hiccup, I’m very happy with my new home.

Lennar's workmanship is not what it used to be...it was top notch many years ago when we purchased a prior home. This time around, the workers who built the home did not pay attention to detail; some of the finished work was sloppy, no attention to detail in some areas and overall I attribute it to rushed work. Thumbs down for me on Lennar: I would consider other builders in the future - I wouldn't exclude Lennar, it's just that I would not make them my 1st choice of builders any longer. Ex: exterior stucco - not sealed at the Fascia of the home, allows bees to nest; nails showing through ...

I purchased my last home four years ago, also a Lennar home. When it was time to sell and move I looked for Lennar communities. The entire experience with pruchasing went smoothly. Minor issues with a cabinet were resolved quickly. I have noticed the workmanship in construction and drywall is of poorer quality. My floors slope in some areas and drywall is warped in a few places.

Our first homebuyer experience could have been much better had the sales team been much more responsive and kept us up to date on the status of the home. We missed out on the initial home we wanted due to the first sales person, Sheri, not responding to us in a timely manner. The sales person for the 2nd home, Corina, was very friendly once you were able to get ahold of her. The lender leading up to the closing date was the worst experience. I would never use Lennar as a lender. I had to get a backup loan because so many mistakes their officers made. The loan officer and processor didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Once we got the house we needed so many repairs, they are building so fast they make so many building mistakes , crooked walls leaks. The only positive experience has been with kristine she handles all the repairs and issues after move in.

This experience was smooth as pie, unlike going to get a home already dolled up. I signed paperwork, which was expected, and everything was easy to read and understand except for the money portion I had to get clarification on it. Loan officer Jason was amazing and we’re Extremely happy with his service. Overall, the neighborhood is great however, several items on the house were not completed correctly. Also, very concerned about some of the other items I have brought up…..I have been unable to get a phone call back from Lennar about my concerns. However I would definitely recommend buying from Lennar to my friends and family
