The house is uneven, and the windows are off. These have been major issues from day one. We lived without electricity for almost three weeks.

Hasn't even been a month, but a water pipe burst and flooded the first floor and dragging your feet to fix it, unless I email and complain about it. Probably should not send out mass "rate us," emails before checking the recipients, but here you go

The overall process of buying our home was fabulous thanks to our own personal realtor they were able to provide a very transparent and prompt response to all of our concerns. However this is an issue Lennar needs to address. When working with buyers who are prepared, prompt, and most importantly represented your loan officers should provide better overall customer service. We had offers and pre approvals from other lenders who provided our numbers within 48 hours and Lennars process took nearly two weeks even with all of the requested documents. House defect include: unfinished dry wall, recess not working and solar system still not working after many attempts to fix it. It had to take time off work to wait for contractors that do not show up. Just terrible.

A builder who will do anything to cut corners

Lennar is definitely a builder with multiple lawsuits against their name who will do anything to maximize their own profits, by building low quality products with no care whatsoever, like a lot of other builders. All I've seen is lies and fake marketing. Marketed this community as private and gated, while they sold our safety out to the city just to make more profits. One decent thing is the responsiveness of the staff.

bug issue inside and outside the house

I had bug issue one month after moved in. There have been bugs in the bed daily, which is not a living situation and not able to compromise according to my tenant. It was identified as springtail came from mulch they put in the front yard. Although those area are covered by HOA, but as a matter of fact, those mulch were put in by the builder. What is suppose to be a great home buying experience has definately been extremely horrible, since the beginning from the loan to moving in. Problem after problem with a BRAND NEW home. No warranty after closing

Lennar just wants to sell you the home and after closing if you discover something was missing or damaged like a scratched mirror or stained countertop and you didn't discover it during the walkthrough, they'll tell you it's not covered under warranty even though they tell you a million times before closing that don't worry you have a one year warranty! Apparently the warranty is worthless.

Lennar should be more than a regular construction company, as one of the best or the best in the country. We bought a Model house, good and bad, good that come with some upgrades that we cant get in other regular house, now the bad part is some of the stuff that is not correct or damage ( you name it ) cant be fixed BECAUSE IS THE MODEL WE DONT DO , this is ridiculous excuse, we pay more almost 100k for the same house as the others and get used / old stuff ... lennar REP very bad attitude, I'm not recommend to anyone else.

She never communicated with me the buyer. I would have to be the one to call the office to get answers to my questions, even then she would have to find out the answers to my questions and get back to me. She never did call me back until I had to be the one to her call back. Unacceptable. Customer Service team was great!

The day before closing I showed up for final inspection to be told the house was not ready and I should have been contacted by sales. No one could tell me when it would be ready. Then I was told I would definitely close by the 29th. I closed on the 20th, 3 weeks later. Delays happen but it is clear they knew there would be a delay long before they notified me, 24 hours before closing.
