I found buying a Lennar home to be an easy and friendly experience. Robert was very easy to work with and always available to answer questions or show me the home-again.

Craftsmanship and quality is junk! Put zero effort into building a home that we paid a lot of money for! One of the worst craftsmanship that I have ever encountered. If I could return the home I would! It will be the first and last time I will ever purchase a Lennar home. I would never recommend Lennar homes to friends or family!

Jorge was our construction manager and he went above and beyond with everything.

I took control of the house by the end of Dec and till date the mailbox is not setup. I have reached out multiple times but none of them seem to have a concrete update. I left a voicemail as well but no one returned my call to provide me an update. Besides, this I have reached out to fix other cosmetic things at home but experience has not been great. Overall, I have to follow-up multiple times to get things done.

The people that work at Heritage Placer vineyards were very responsive, professional and helpful. This included sales, construction, title and other financial people

From the gecko we came in with our own realtor and met Mark with Lennar made our process so easy by showing us homes he even brought out the go kart because he saw how excited my kids were to ride in one. Closing was so easy Peezy no hassle thank you for making our first one sounds amazing! Shout out Luis with the builder side he has been a great answering questions as well about the home

At 6 weeks of ownership I have not had any problems. The sales experience was professional and I have not discovered any "lies" told to me during the transaction.

I have a wonderful buying experience and would do it all over again

It was my partner & I’s first time purchasing a home and working with Prav (lender) and Devin (sales) was a PAIN. I would receive smart remarks from Prav on important questions I genuinely needed answered throughout the buying journey and after. Devin would never get back to me, timely. UPS could take 3-5 business days and I still would not get a response back from her. You guys excluded my personal realtor from the experience so who else can guide me other than you two? HORRIBLE. As for the house. I understand you guys want to build 50 houses by end of month but the quality control is horrific. Purchasing experience was good. Not totally happy with the condition of property upon delivery.

This is our 3rd lennar houses within our family. We looked around at other builder homes but we still come back to Lennar. Im happy I was able to buy a dream home for my parents to live in.

Buying our new home with Lennar in Sacramento was a wonderful experience! The sales team was professional, patient, and really took the time to walk us through every step. From selecting our floor plan to the final walkthrough, everything was seamless. We especially appreciated the clear communication and helpful guidance, they made what can be a stressful process feel easy and exciting!

Here is the 2 problems : 1. Awful backyard. No normal level of ground from house to backyard. Moisture are always here. No special adhesive material under the mulch . That’s why all neighbors have a lot of white fungus into the mulch and a lot of insects which grows from the organic wet and fungus material because of no material was laid on the ground. Now we have a lot of problems with flies and fungus. So now we need to get rid of all mulch and rebuild a normal level of ground. 2. Awful cabinets qualify. The material is like a paper. Very fragile and sensitive. I think in 1 year the condition of kitchen cabinets will be very poor. 3. Impossible to use the doors with any rags because the doors are too low. ... More

I just wanted to say that Jessica our New home consultant was great. She was very responsive, knowledgeable, professional and proactive. We absolutely love how she handled our process.. Jessica is the reason why we are in our home today, kind and on top of her game. Now other the other Christina the loan officer was horrible, she stop responding, would say she’d call us back or follow up but never did. She made buying a home beyond stressful, if you ever see her as your loan officer run .

During the process of purchasing our house we worked with Christina and at first she communicated with us just fine but then she wouldn't return our calls and failed to follow up with us. She would tell us one thing and the next, it was different. She would say she was going to call us back with an update and never would. When we had to provide documents, i would provide them and they would keep asking for the documents over and over. I thought maybe what i sent didnt attach properly but then come to find out i was told Christina was supposed to call me and tell me to contact the credit bureaus to update something that wasnt updated on my credit report. Did she tell me that? No, of course not. A simple text would have sufficed but she couldnt even do that. Whats worse is that when she finally did call with an update, she didnt even apologize for not responding to our calls or not responding to our text she simply went on as if nothing had happened. As if i didn't call you everyday for almost a week asking for an update. Her communication skills are the worse! When we finally closed, the title company told us there were pending permits that the city hadn't approved yet so we wouldnt be getting our keys. We were told that Christina should have told us this, which, surprise surprise, she hadn't. When we finally escalated the issue, a manager offered us a credit which was applied to nothing because we had already signed and closed the deal. They said it was applied to closing costs but we had already signed and it was done. When i spoke with Christina about it, she said it was used to extend the interest rate since the rate lock had expired, which she didn't tell me there would be any cost to extending it. They tried to make it seem as though we were impatient about the permits but that wasnt the case. We understand that if permits are pending, they're pending. We just wanted some communication and honesty. We wanted someone to say-hey, i didn't get a chance to check on this but give me a few days and ill follow up with you...and actually follow up; or hey, just a quick update, its still pending, etc. I didnt even need a call, a text would have sufficed! We love our house but the process to get it was not smooth and pleasant. It was stressful, shady, and unprofessional on their part. I wish I would have requested a different loan officer but it is what it is now. Even when we finally got our keys, it didn't feel welcoming. We have several friends and family that are looking to buy a home and unfortunately we are not referring them to Christina and her team. When people ask us about our journey in purchasing our house, we tell them the horrible process we went through. It's a shame... ... More

It seemed to me that the communication was lacking, we had to buy from Lennar because it was a new home, but I would not recommend them as a mortgage company.

Once we had an agreed upon price and I was ready to buy the particular home, the salesperson raised the price like $10000. shady business tactics by Lennar. Won’t be getting my business any longer

Most of the salespeople were the WORST. I sent the same scanned documents over and over again but was repeatedly asked for them by various people in different states .One finance person emailed me every day for six days in a row asking me for documents that had been sent. He didn't respond to my texts or emails and finally admitted he never opened the files I had sent. The same happened with another rep in another state. My last name is 6 letters long, but it was REPEATEDLY misspelled in documents, even on the day I signed the final documents with the Notary. My SSN was entered incorrectly which explained why they insisted they couldn't get a credit report for me. I finally scanned the credit report and sent it to them myself. Even on the day I signed with the Notary, I was given the wrong amount of final payment that I had to send. My realtor had to intervene numerous times when I failed to receive responses from anyone regarding errors I found in documents. The left hand never knew what the right hand was doing. ... More

First, the master bath counter was cracked. They came out to replace it but then they caused a leak under the sink. They came out again, and it was still leaking. Had to ask my plumbing friend to repair. Then they never explain that the water heater needs to be in a different mode during the wintertime. We took a cold shower because there wasn't enough hot water. We came back from our overseas vacation and the kids had a cough and cold but the heater didn't work. This is the time we are turning on the heater. We requested service and they didn't come out until the next day They couldn't figure out the issue and said we may need a new unit. In the meantime, we are using portable heaters and they draw too much electricity that it kept shutting off the circuit breaker. They have not given us an update on our unit. It is freezing in the house. So far I have lost trust in Villara heating and plumbing. During the walk-through thru they did not turn on the HVAC unit to test both heat and air conditioning. ... More
