Materials are cheap. Really disappointed. Bathroom knob was a different material. Paint was barely dry, still sticky. Home was definitely a rush job. Walls are paper thin, you can hear easily in other rooms.

Lennar Mortgage

Lennar mortgage is the reason for the low scores in some areas. The lennar lender assigned to us (craig) caused unnecessary stress to our whole family. He took 3 months to finally submit to the underwriters and we were turned down. He did not submit all of our income and refused to talk to us when I asked to review the income amounts He had entered. We had to resubmit the same paperwork multiple times all for nothing. The mortgage lender we went with, who was recommended by lennar was excellent (girish) and had us conditionally approved in 3 days and worked with us every step of the way ...

The sales process was rocky for me. My real estate agent was rude at times when I had questions along the way. I’ve had a few issues to deal with once moved in. I feel like the after sales experience has been better than the purchase experience. Robert has been very responsive helping me resolve the issues with my Ring Doorbell and defective dishwasher.

To start Tammy was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and supportive. She legit feels like part of the family! There were so many emails exchanged with various documents that needed to be signed. I wish there was one comprehensive packet that we could sign all at once instead of going back and forth, as it was quite overwhelming. The process of streamlining needs to be improved.

This was the most difficult purchase of real estate that I have experienced in my 50 years of real estate investment. The entire staff need to be retrained. The title company group was the worst!

Our Lennar sales person Ashley was wonderful; without her we would not have purchased our house. The superintendent that provided the walk through was great. Every part of the process went well until we had to deal with Lennar Title. With Title we had little to no communication from anyone. Because of Title we closed escrow 4 days late, losing the only weekend we had to move and forcing us to rent storage and lose time from work. And the reason we “only” closed 4 days late was because Ashley went to bat for us and got our paperwork moved to the top of the pile. The whole situation was ...

Devin assisted us in securing our home. We were hesitant due to all the negative reviews we saw and choosing to not have a realtor, but when people say the builder agents are only working in the best interest of the builder, they have not met Devin. She was truly amazing every step of the way. Austin was fantastic during our walkthroughs and Prestin/Customer Service team have responded very quickly to anything that has came up since we moved in a couple months ago. Worst experience ever. Completely unresponsive to any question we had. The minute we signed the agreement to purchase and sent over the deposit it was all down hill and a horrible experience. Buying are first home was suppose to be a memorable happy experience and all I have is frustration and buyers remorse because how bad the customer service was. 100% will not recommend buying a new Lennar home to anyone.

In short, the home buying experience was not pleasant, and in many ways, did not satisfy our needs. The process was made even more frustrating by the continued demonstration that Lennar and its process were more important than any of the customer’s interests or needs. Here is a direct quote from the “Delivery Process” letter sent to us – “Appointments are critical, and timing is of the essence. This is our first home and overall our experience was fine. If it wasn’t for an agent in another Lennar community, I would’ve never bought this home because the Devin the realtor was not very helpful and personable. She was very unprofessional and spoke badly of the Lennar agent who actually helped us. The homes are over priced and don’t match the comps in the area and if you don’t know or negotiate you will be over paying. There are people in our neighborhood who purchased same home for less. We love the house, getting used to the extra bills….water bill is double of our old water bill, taxes homeowners, melrose etc. The one thing that was disappointing is all the overlay of concrete that had to be chipped away before we concrete the north side walkway. All Lennar did was throw dirt over it. We love it here so far, the people here are very nice

We were able to see multiple homes in the price range that was right for us. We were able to take our time. However, once we made our decision we had to come back the next day to sign paperwork. Our Lennar salesperson was ready to do the paperwork that day. It took her longer to get the paperwork ready, and we were planning to go back home the next day. We left later that we wanted to to return home.

The concierge service was very stern handed with Lennar and did not give choices or was not flexible at all with times and dates compared to a private realtor that bends over backwards and works with your schedule, not vice versa called maintenance on a couple plants in the backyard that we’re dying and I got told it was my fault after only living on the property for two weeks And refused to replace
