It was a delight experienced for my home buying with Lennar’s build company with their professionalism, especially with Cori A. her patience, and people-first attitude customer service. We got to moved-in our new home in two weeks home delivery process successfully.

This is our first home and overall our experience was fine. If it wasn’t for an agent in another Lennar community, I would’ve never bought this home because the Devin the realtor was not very helpful and personable. She was very unprofessional and spoke badly of the Lennar agent who actually helped us. The homes are over priced and don’t match the comps in the area and if you don’t know or negotiate you will be over paying. There are people in our neighborhood who purchased same home for less. Other builders are more transparent. They make you feel like your getting a massive discount but in reality your paying for what your getting. The home build is pretty descent though. The move in date estimate was pretty spot on. We have not had much issues except a few minor issues so far. The one good thing I can say is that they do hook you up with a person who you can reach out to for any issues and you have another 90 days to fix any other issues so that’s a plus. They also do another 1 year inspection which is good too. They do make sure you know they are not a maintenance company although I wish they would actually listen to what you have to say before making those statements. We love the house, getting used to the extra bills….water bill is double of our old water bill, taxes homeowners, melrose etc. The one thing that was disappointing is all the overlay of concrete that had to be chipped away before we concrete the north side walkway. All Lennar did was throw dirt over it. We love it here so far, the people here are very nice

Overall It was good experience

Buying a home through Lennar was a smooth and satisfying experience. From the initial walkthrough to closing day, the process was well-organized and professionally handled. The home itself reflects solid craftsmanship and quality materials, and I feel I recieved good value for the price I paid. Lennar's team was responsive and helpful whenever questions came up, and they made sure any issues were addressed in a timely manner. While there's always room for improvement, I felt confident working with them and woul recoomend Lennar to any looking for a reliable homebuilder.

It's hard to read all of these reviews be excited about Lennar, but I thought to provide my honest feedback. First off, no home is perfect, even if new. If you expect that, then the home sale price should have two commas in it, not one. That said, I have had the same cosmetic issues, minor delays, and general warranty concerns others have outlined. I have had nothing but a positive experience with the group that built our home and would like to publicly thank Teresa and John for his quick responses and service.

Overall the home buying experience has been good. As a new homeowner settling in though, the hurdles to obtain answers to issues that have arisen has been frustrating at times, with many issues having to be gone over multiple times until the correct company is determined.

Compare to other Lennar home, Heritage has the best looking homes. 55+ community is excellent. The buying process was a bit shaky… we had 6 different people involved and had very idea who they were. We were sent a bunch of docusigns from people I never heard of. Lennar was price and discounts was great.

D. was great to work with, communicated very well and responsive. We closed over the Christmas/New Year holiday period. Due to the holidays and staff on vacation, closing was difficult. Avoid selling or purchasing a home during this time window. Our agent worked hard for us and need to pass on a thank you!

Buying a new build was really scary even though we have gone the home buying process before. The representative in the office was very friendly and helpful. Communications was a little delayed but we had questions answered anyway. Loan officer definitely needs to work on their communication. It would take days to get answer and there were times when she didn’t even answer some simple questions which was a little frustrating. There were alot of models to look at and seemed well built. We would recommend to work with Lennar compared to other builders.

Purchasing experience was good. Not totally happy with the condition of property upon delivery.

Here is the 2 problems : 1. Awful backyard. No normal level of ground from house to backyard. Moisture are always here. No special adhesive material under the mulch . That’s why all neighbors have a lot of white fungus into the mulch and a lot of insects which grows from the organic wet and fungus material because of no material was laid on the ground. Now we have a lot of problems with flies and fungus. So now we need to get rid of all mulch and rebuild a normal level of ground. 2. Awful cabinets qualify. The material is like a paper. Very fragile and sensitive. I think in 1 year the condition of kitchen cabinets will be very poor. 3. Impossible to use the doors with any rags because the doors are too low. ... More

I just wanted to say that Jessica our New home consultant was great. She was very responsive, knowledgeable, professional and proactive. We absolutely love how she handled our process.. Jessica is the reason why we are in our home today, kind and on top of her game. Now other the other Christina the loan officer was horrible, she stop responding, would say she’d call us back or follow up but never did. She made buying a home beyond stressful, if you ever see her as your loan officer run .

First, the master bath counter was cracked. They came out to replace it but then they caused a leak under the sink. They came out again, and it was still leaking. Had to ask my plumbing friend to repair. Then they never explain that the water heater needs to be in a different mode during the wintertime. We took a cold shower because there wasn't enough hot water. We came back from our overseas vacation and the kids had a cough and cold but the heater didn't work. This is the time we are turning on the heater. We requested service and they didn't come out until the next day They couldn't figure out the issue and said we may need a new unit. In the meantime, we are using portable heaters and they draw too much electricity that it kept shutting off the circuit breaker. They have not given us an update on our unit. It is freezing in the house. So far I have lost trust in Villara heating and plumbing. During the walk-through thru they did not turn on the HVAC unit to test both heat and air conditioning. ... Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.

Buying and home closing experience was good. After we moved in, paint from several doors started to peel off within days. Front lawn irrigation was not programmed properly. Lawn dried up by the time we noticed.

As expected the overall build quality and the materials used are great. It was been a great experience with the sales team, mortgage team and the post sale representative. When I have created tickets for issues, the response and scheduling could use a lot of improvements

Buying experience and transparency with expectations are all solid. Quality of workmanship for the most part is good. My biggest complaint is the MDF used in the cabinets, baseboards and window sills and casing. A BIG no to any of that. I have been in my home for a little over a month and am incredibly careful to keep everything in first-class condition. I had some water from my walk-in shower leach out from under the door gap and saturated the carpet that abuts the bathroom tile. The carpet absorbed the water which ran straight to the base boards and within 30 mins, Completely ruined. The base boards bubbled up, paint discolored and now they have to be replaced. Same thing happened in the kitchen with my cabinets. I spilled a small amount of water on the floor next to the island sink. The water saturated the base of the cabinet and again... within 30 mins, the side of the cabinet was saturated, bubbled up and wrecked. Using MDF on windows, baseboards and cabinets is a really, really bad idea. Saving a few bucks by not using wood has me really disappointed with this part of my new home. I'm going to have to hire a contractor to swap out all MDF in the kitchen and both bathrooms. ... More

The response time for questions on the solar system was not responsive until 3 weeks after signing then they answered my phone call. Sunnova doesn't answer the question they give you an excuse and it isn't their fault. They point the finger at everyone else. It is going on 2 months since I signed and ownership was ours. We still don't know where in the process of getting our systems rook up and online line. There departments don't talk to each other. When you call you only talk to the new service department which isn't kept informed by the connections department as to what step in the process your paper is. ... More

Do not appreciate HOA slow response and government like attitude. Had I known about the level of control, I would not have purchased a home from Lennar.

Please make adjustments if the buyers want to make minor adjustments before the build.

Sloppy workmanship. While it is great that Lennar gives you a full year to file issues that you find with your new house and they would come and fix at no cost, I'd rather not have to do that. Especially on kitchen cabinets and outdoor paint job. These are issues that are easily spotted.

Lennar really dropped the ball on Phase 2. Quality of everything was lowered yet the price increased. Phase 1 had GE Monogram appliances, open rail staircase, finished garage walls, tile roofs and the same was expected of Phase 2 considering the price increase, yet Lennar closed off the staircase, switched to Frigidaire appliances, and unfinished garage walls and asphalt shingle roof. Higher end finishes were also shown online but none of these were included in the home. Noticed many work that was unfinished after moving in. Good thing we have the warranty for a year, but you would think for the price point that you would get a quality home. ... More

Our Lennar sales person Ashley was wonderful; without her we would not have purchased our house. The superintendent that provided the walk through was great. Every part of the process went well until we had to deal with Lennar Title. With Title we had little to no communication from anyone. Because of Title we closed escrow 4 days late, losing the only weekend we had to move and forcing us to rent storage and lose time from work. And the reason we “only” closed 4 days late was because Ashley went to bat for us and got our paperwork moved to the top of the pile. The whole situation was ridiculous! It was a shame because up until the close of escrow, the whole home buying process had been smooth and easy. After escrow closed and we moved in, we discovered some hidden design issues. To be clear, it appears the home was built per specs, but just FYI: these homes are built with interior wall studs at 19” on center, and the ceiling joists are 2x4s.
