We have been very happy with our new home. The neighborhood is beautiful. The quality of the material is great. I like that most of the design features are chosen for you or are at least narrowed down to a few options that you know will look good. My wife and I get overwhelmed with a lot of decisions so that was useful for us. My one complaint is that it was highly encouraged to use their lendor, and our guy did not seem to know what he was doing. But overall, we love the house and neighborhood.

The sales process was rocky for me. My real estate agent was rude at times when I had questions along the way. I’ve had a few issues to deal with once moved in. I feel like the after sales experience has been better than the purchase experience. Robert has been very responsive helping me resolve the issues with my Ring Doorbell and defective dishwasher.

The concierge service was very stern handed with Lennar and did not give choices or was not flexible at all with times and dates compared to a private realtor that bends over backwards and works with your schedule, not vice versa called maintenance on a couple plants in the backyard that we’re dying and I got told it was my fault after only living on the property for two weeks And refused to replace

Very disappointed with paint and drywall

The quality of the framing and finish leaves much to be desired. The second-floor creaks, and the plywood on the second floor isn't laid in a staggered pattern. The ceilings aren't even because the builders didn't level the trusses before installing the drywall. Buyers aren't given a blue tape inspection before closing where they could point out deficiencies. So, we have to live in the house and wait for them to fix these issues under warranty, if that even happens.

I would have liked to know before I bought the house that there were so many things that needed constant attention in the house and that we would be required to keep our cars in the garage.

My first home was with lennar it was an excellent experience. I keep referring to the friends. But the second Home at this new community Northlake, buying experience was not that great. They have cut down so many features from what they displayed on the model homes. When I asked the reps their constant response was "lennar has gone cheap". Yeah the quality is not that good compare to homes built back in 2018. This home is not properly insulated. I can hear the voices from the downstairs to upstairs and one room to another rooms. Having lot of issues especially the HVAC system. Which makes lot of noise could not sleep well. It's been 3 months since I reported initially, no resolutions yet. This home is not worth the price I paid!!! ... More

First, I never saw my sales rep and in my opinion it just felt like and we were treated like we were just another sale for him (his name is Michael). he wasn’t even there when it was the day to get the keys.. so we actually never saw him except for briefly when touring the homes. I don’t think that’s a great first time home buyers experience to not have established a good relationship with your sales rep and have them not be present for anything. We actually spoke more to the other sales rep (Daniel I think) and he was pleasant and helpful! As for customer service, Adrian has been great, very helpful, and responsive! Oscar was also great and very helpful. He made sure to listen and answer to all our concerns. I just wish I could have gotten a different sales rep. ... More

Here is my honest review of my experience so far. To begin, we love our house and would consider buying from Lennar again. But the buying process was not problem free so just know you have to advocate for yourself early on. Do not sign off on the walk-through until ALL issues are resolved first. We closed escrow in September 2024. Lennar Mortgage and Title did not communicate with each other very well. We had to keep on top of our closing date because Title said they did not receive the paperwork from Mortgage and Mortgage said we just had to wait to hear from Title. It was very frustrating. I had to go into the sales office to get Title on the phone. We were told from the very beginning to use the Lennar portal for communicating, but they rarely responded when we used that so we used e-mails outside of the portal instead. Upon our walk-through inspection, the HVAC (cooling) was not working. The next day we were told a switch had not been turned on. It did get a little cooler the next day, but not well enough to notice a major difference. This time of year was cooler so we didn’t really need the AC much anyway and missed it not working well. Now that’s it colder outside, the unit is not heating the house up. We have made a repair request so this issue is pending. Also upon our walk-through, there were other defects we found and most were corrected. (Thank you Josh) However, the pantry door had paint torn off (we were told for the second time) so the door was repainted (a third time) and was left open for a week. The paint has torn off again and now that we have submitted a repair, Lennar said they will not strip the door and repaint…they will only just paint it again and then we need to leave the door open for six months. Six months? Janene said I have to live with my pantry being open for six months? I’m not happy about this. There are other items on our list to be repaired so we’ll wait to see what happens there. Janene also said that no house is perfect and we’ll have to live with that. Great customer service! If I’m given the opportunity I will circle back and update this review with respect to our outstanding issues. (i.e. stucco chip by front door, closet rod too short, missing exterior touch-up paint kit, garage drywall cracking (*Janene said they don’t fix cracks in the garage drywall), etc.) Mail. We have had major problems getting our mail forwarded from our old house to the new post office. At first we twice had to go back to our old house 40 minutes from us (the new owner is awesome) to retrieve our mail because USPS does not recognize our street name and would not forward mail at all. Now we get to drive 15 minutes to the post office to retrieve our mail. Are there no permits with the city for new streets? Was our address formatted correctly on the building permit? Why is it taking so long to get mailboxes operating? I know Lennar is not in control of this, but could they step in and assist? I don’t think they care about the mail issue. Janene was quick to let us know she cannot help us with this problem. I want to end with that I love my house overall. The floorplan is what we fell in love with. And if you know you will “have to live” with your house not being perfect when turned over to you, then you should be okay. ... More

There was a large selection of home styles and lot locations. Once you decide the size and design of the house you want be sure to ask on what lot this style of house will be built. You can't pick a lot and say I want my house here. The style of house and what lot it will be on has already been decided in the master plan. Then ask what is the release date for that lot and when will the house be finished. Lennar is very good with their projections of when a home will be ready to move in. You need this information so you can plan the sale of your home and when you can move into the new Lennar house. Their scheduling and move in date was right on the money. ... More

Warranty service is very problematic. Otherwise I am happy with the build.

Materials are cheap. Really disappointed. Bathroom knob was a different material. Paint was barely dry, still sticky. Home was definitely a rush job. Walls are paper thin, you can hear easily in other rooms.

Overall, the quality of this new Lennar home is at best average. First off they tell you when you have your walk-through that all the issues will be taken care of that is not so at the final walk-through we were told we have to wait for the repairs for our 90 day check up, which is absolutely not acceptable. The functionality of some of the features is not good. Why does one house need two or three sliding glass doors back to back. Also now we understand why they don’t let you into the clubhouse prior to closing escrow. Not quite the community we were looking for and expecting… The gates in the community seem to function less often than they work properly. It would have been good to discuss with the customer before submitting the application so that there is enough room to negotiate the expected prices. However the person tried their best to negotiate, but since this was our first home buying experience, we thought that it could be a little better and transparent

Very poor quality finishes and material (cheap)Very basic hardware. Not paid attention to details from technicians who worked on the installations.tile is very poor quality installation.not level .house lake of many small things that is very great in the buyer eyes .we finding things not done right every day .

These homes are thrown together so fast, the quality of workmanship from subcontractors are horrible!!

I buy my house in 2 months already but don't see who coming for home warranty I don't even know what her or his name.

It seemed to me that the communication was lacking, we had to buy from Lennar because it was a new home, but I would not recommend them as a mortgage company.

Loan officer Craig was horrible and I almost lost the Lennar home based on all the mistakes he was making. Sam and Jennifer were great

Over all not great home buying experience. Customer service wasn’t great during purchase time. There was not much support in choosing option. Was rushed into everything. Home built is good but experience through out the process is very unfriendly. They just want to build home like factory and no respect or care for someone’s expectations and feelings who is spending 100s of thousands of dollars.

It was my partner & I’s first time purchasing a home and working with Prav (lender) and Devin (sales) was a PAIN. I would receive smart remarks from Prav on important questions I genuinely needed answered throughout the buying journey and after. Devin would never get back to me, timely. UPS could take 3-5 business days and I still would not get a response back from her. You guys excluded my personal realtor from the experience so who else can guide me other than you two? HORRIBLE. As for the house. I understand you guys want to build 50 houses by end of month but the quality control is horrific. Why not just take your time rather than having to go back and repaint / fix any issues? Now we’re having to reschedule due to weather conditions. ... More

Most of the salespeople were the WORST. I sent the same scanned documents over and over again but was repeatedly asked for them by various people in different states .One finance person emailed me every day for six days in a row asking me for documents that had been sent. He didn't respond to my texts or emails and finally admitted he never opened the files I had sent. The same happened with another rep in another state. My last name is 6 letters long, but it was REPEATEDLY misspelled in documents, even on the day I signed the final documents with the Notary. My SSN was entered incorrectly which explained why they insisted they couldn't get a credit report for me. I finally scanned the credit report and sent it to them myself. Even on the day I signed with the Notary, I was given the wrong amount of final payment that I had to send. My realtor had to intervene numerous times when I failed to receive responses from anyone regarding errors I found in documents. The left hand never knew what the right hand was doing. ... More
