For such a complex process, the Lennar team made it seem easy. From the day I walk in the front door of the model homes, to the signing of the closing documents and the handing over of the keys, the process was made to be so comfortable, easy and well supported. Thank you for all involved with my home buying process and experience. I love my new home.

The people are very knowledgeable and quick to respond on issues that are relevant to the situation.

The quality of the framing and finish leaves much to be desired. The second-floor creaks, and the plywood on the second floor isn't laid in a staggered pattern. The ceilings aren't even because the builders didn't level the trusses before installing the drywall. Buyers aren't given a blue tape inspection before closing where they could point out deficiencies. So, we have to live in the house and wait for them to fix these issues under warranty, if that even happens.

I recently purchased a home from Lennar, and overall, my experience was quite positive with a few areas for improvement. What I liked: The offer process was smooth and well-coordinated. Lennar's team communicated promptly and ensured that everything progressed as expected. Both the loan officer and the customer sales agent were extremely helpful, making the home-buying journey seamless and less stressful. The construction manager was receptive to any issues I pointed out and was always ready to address them. He also provided some valuable tips on home maintenance. Areas for improvement: There were times when I found it difficult to communicate or reschedule meetings. Some walk-throughs were scheduled without considering my availability, and my attempts to reschedule went unanswered. This led to a few inconvenient situations where I had no choice but to attend as scheduled. While the home overall meets expectations, I feel the quality could be better in some areas. For example, I noticed that the wood quality in the attic was not up to par, and some details like missing garage opener studs were disappointing. Lennar really dropped the ball on Phase 2. Quality of everything was lowered yet the price increased. Phase 1 had GE Monogram appliances, open rail staircase, finished garage walls, tile roofs and the same was expected of Phase 2 considering the price increase, yet Lennar closed off the staircase, switched to Frigidaire appliances, and unfinished garage walls and asphalt shingle roof. Higher end finishes were also shown online but none of these were included in the home. Noticed many work that was unfinished after moving in. It's hard to read all of these reviews be excited about Lennar, but I thought to provide my honest feedback. First off, no home is perfect, even if new. If you expect that, then the home sale price should have two commas in it, not one. That said, I have had the same cosmetic issues, minor delays, and general warranty concerns others have outlined. I have had nothing but a positive experience with the group that built our home and would like to publicly thank Teresa and John for his quick responses and service.

Not impressed with house set up process.

Overall the home buying experience has been good. As a new homeowner settling in though, the hurdles to obtain answers to issues that have arisen has been frustrating at times, with many issues having to be gone over multiple times until the correct company is determined.

Lennar knows what they are doing. They’ve thought out every serial of the process and I feel great about my purchase and everyone I dealt with.

The entire process was very positive from dealing with the sales office, the loan officer, the insurance broker, and closing in escrow. The home was in very good condition when we moved in, and we are very happy.

Buying process and moving in was smooth Unfortunately a week or two upon moving the dishwasher started leaking which cause a lot of damage on the surrounding cabinets and flooring. Lennar team was quick to assess the situation and provide solutions. However the new parts needed takes time to arrive so we dont have a kitchen for more than two weeks now. Hopefully once parts arrive it will be seamless process moving forward.

Terrible service, the construction team all told us to let them know directly if there were any issues but never answered calls or texts when we reached out.

Compare to other Lennar home, Heritage has the best looking homes. 55+ community is excellent. The buying process was a bit shaky… we had 6 different people involved and had very idea who they were. We were sent a bunch of docusigns from people I never heard of. Lennar was price and discounts was great.

The staff are amazing to work with. Understanding the process work

Buying experience and transparency with expectations are all solid. Quality of workmanship for the most part is good. My biggest complaint is the MDF used in the cabinets, baseboards and window sills and casing. A BIG no to any of that. I have been in my home for a little over a month and am incredibly careful to keep everything in first-class condition. I had some water from my walk-in shower leach out from under the door gap and saturated the carpet that abuts the bathroom tile. The carpet absorbed the water which ran straight to the base boards and within 30 mins, Completely ruined. The base boards bubbled up, paint discolored and now they have to be replaced. Same thing happened in the kitchen with my cabinets. I spilled a small amount of water on the floor next to the island sink. The water saturated the base of the cabinet and again... within 30 mins, the side of the cabinet was saturated, bubbled up and wrecked. Using MDF on windows, baseboards and cabinets is a really, really bad idea. Saving a few bucks by not using wood has me really disappointed with this part of my new home. I'm going to have to hire a contractor to swap out all MDF in the kitchen and both bathrooms. ... More
