No responsive to warranty repairs that I am still waiting on for over 4 months

We were passed from salesperson to salesperson, with pushy people and zero communication every step of the way, until there was money to be made. There are things that were never communicated, which we later had to deal with. Our salesperson was trying to get her name on our documents before a specific arbitrary date, so we had little time to review things, despite being legally allowed to do so. Very pushy and unapologetic. 2/10 would not recommend.

They used to be very attentive but with the housing boom they have forgotten about their customers and how to treat people.

From walking the empty lot to receiving the keys, every person involved with our home purchase was friendly and informative. Great experience with Lennar!

I really enjoyed working with the Lennar builder agent. She helped us connect with the loan officer. Once we pre-qualified, she put us on the waiting list and consistently informed us of our status. We love our new home!

Communication is an area that Lennar needs to work on. We closed on our house in June. We are still waiting for the garage door to be replaced, it was noted at the closing. We have also had problems with all of the AC units and can't get anyone to call us regarding these issues. We are now receiving notice from our lender that our address does not exist with the San Diego Tax Assessor's office. They do not know who to pay our taxes to.

Lennar builds homes that are walk-in ready. Their are no hidden costs and everything is included. Other homebuilders charge you for every little thing, Lennar does not do that. They also hire the sweetest staff, from the person who sells you the home to the lender to the inspector to the on site helper person and so forth. You have a 1 year warranty to get anything fixed that you need. It's a bargain when you get solar panels, flooring, recessed lighting, tankless water heater, appliances, and so much more!

There are a lot of things I notice around that house that looks sloppy or not installed or done correctly or with care. However, I will say when I bring the issue to their attention they address it but wish I didn't have the issues, to begin with.

For a production home, we are very satisfied overall.

The staff really helped us get through the process smoothly. Communications back and forth were very good. They answered all of our questions. After we moved in they had a quick response to any issue we had.

The process from start to finish was easy starting with our sales person Ryan, he has been tremendously helpful, and answers or finds out about anything we ask. Steve our loan officer was also extremely quick to return our calls. The quality of the people and the house are more than we ever expected, thank you again Lennar for everything you have helped us through.

The property management company is an absolute joke. Rude, condescending, and the community managers are always unavailable. I have found charges on the dues that no one at First Service Residential can explain. I am in the process of filing a complaint with Housing and Urban Development along with the Better Business Bureau. The solar company is horrendous. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint against them as well. We have had issues with our A/C, water heater, issues with stucco, solar, and we are now 4, going on 5 months post escrow. It’s frustration to have bought a new home to avoid these issues with a resale home. It’s just as bad, if not worse because we are at the mercy of the low grade trade companies that work piece work and don’t care about customer service or doing a good job in the first place. Always somebody else issue, sales made it sound so easy but no coordination between sales and outside vendors.even mortgage had similar issues.

We are not first time home buyers. There are so many questions to be asked and make sure to get all those questions completely answered. The fees are very overwhelming and you need to understand all of it. We feel there has been broken down communications between subcontractors and Lennar. As homeowners it’s incredibly frustrating to purchase a new home, with no previous owners, and have many, many issues of improper and sub-level finishing of paint, kitchen cabinet, fan, shower, garage door, mirror and appliance issues. We all are paying crazy amounts of money to finish our homes and then have to deal with these problems. That’s $$ down the drain, added stress and ridiculous amount of time having to keep on others to get the jobs finished properly. It simply is not economically smart. If you do it right the first time, then it’s not an economic issue. But there have been way too many issues. First time home buyer’s don’t know or are afraid to say anything not knowing their investment will be problematic in resale if they do not get these issues fixed. I cannot say positively we will ever purchase another Lennar home. But we are upgrading already to make sure when we sell, there won’t be major issues to bring items up to standards that people /buyers demand. ... More

responsive to questions guiding in choosing options

Home buying experience down to the tee! Lennar Homes have figured it out. Buyers have the option to go with an outside lender or thru Lennar homes Mortgage with added benefit or discount. We opted to go with our previous Lender from our first mortgage. It’s the buyer’s choice and you’re in control of that decision which is important since you’re making one of the biggest purchases in your life. Home location & appliances are top notch with everything is included appliances (basic +washer & dryer, & fridge). Our Lennar Real estate agent at the Collection at St. Cloud did an outstanding job keeping us informed about the developments in our home buying process. And made sure to communicate our concerns with Lennar Homes. It was clear that she was also looking out for us. We really appreciate her excellent customer service. We highly recommend Lennar Homes to anyone dreaming of owning a home. It’s been 3 months since we’ve relocated from the east coast and we’re still in awe that our California dreaming is now a California living for real!!! I have bought 5 new homes over the past 30 years - this was by far the best experience of them all. The minor issues that popped up were addressed immediately. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

The sales rep we dealt with for Lennar was great to work with, always answered all our questions in a timely manner. All the Lennar employees we've dealt with have been very friendly and responsive to all questions and issues.
