QUALITY WISE POOR

Quality wise, defects everywhere, aesthetics and appliances, very different from the model home that entice you to buy. Customer care responds fast but after that the process of making things done/ fixed takes ages, I believe this is all experienced by most of homebuyers of Lennar sad to say.

Worst experience with Lennar Mortgage

Lennar mortgage went up to a week prior to closing and then said sorry, we cannot finance this. we had to go to a loan broker who got us a more expensive (points, interest, amount) loan within 10 days! We had to move out of our old house prior to closing, so we had to rent an AirB&B with two dogs and a cat for one week until the mortgage was approved. Horrible for all!

We had an excellent experience working with Lenar and their staff! Every deadline was met, and we were able to move into our home within three weeks of seeing the model home.

My salesperson Chris was very helpful and understanding of my needs. Service follow ups have been a bit challenging and require persistence on my part. Tim has been most helpful with service issues. Gerting a response from the HOA has been rather challenging.

All the paper work is on line. I’m not a “techie” person. Everyone that I worked with was patient and helpful. People that worked with me were always available. The builder got me into my condo before they said they could.

I have had a good experience buying my new condo. The people I worked with were very professional. Everything is on line for your paperwork. I’m not “techie” so I needed someone who was patient and helpful. Except for a few minor things, my condo was ready at my first walk through. I even got to move in earlier than I expected!

Chaos digital portal

Lennar functional teams use different portals. You have to enroll each of them. Each portal looks different. It makes homebuyers confused. It is very hard to know what action you need take what docs you need to read. I have never experienced this type of digital chaos. Personally I love digital process to handle complicate real state. Lennar should use one portal to proceed selling, even prequalifying evaluation.

New Home Owner Experience

The Lennar team (from sales to finance to post-move in customer service) — everyone was nearly horrible and not worth the money they are paid. I could spend many hours explaining every situation and how bad of an experience this was but to sum it all up. Some of the sales agents are rude and don’t care. The finance team SUCKS and will try to feed you to another company that clearly they will benefit from. The quality team might not actually ensure that important needs are addressed before closing. The builders use VERY cheap, low-end finishing and throw the house together (so expect issues). ...

Spousal Aggreement

We had many issues closing the loan even when I had over 80% down. The issue was nobody within the multiple Lennar divisions (builder, title and loans) knew who owned getting the Spousal waiver signed off. As a result, my ex had to sign through a virtual notary 4 times. This caused delays in closing which cost me $100s in rescheduling fees not to mention that they had my $1M that should have been earning $150 a day in interest for almost 2 weeks. That is almost $1000 that I will never see. As for build quality, there are many design flaws that are having to get fixed: - pathways to side ...

I've own 2 homes prior and Reed @ EPOCA is my 3rd and hopefully my final. I can't say enough of how my shopping experience was low stress and somewhat enjoyable. All the staff from finances to the on-site representatives, were helpful and patient. We're very happy with our new home. Those individuals worth mentioning are: Felice, Becky and Lisa.

There is a lot of issues in the house like electrical, paintings, dirty windows etc. we did mark some of it during the walkthrough but they just remove the tape but not fix. I placed request for repair but some contractors takes time to respond and come. We closed in August but until now we still have problems. Although our customer care coordinator, Destiny is very helpful.

This is our first buying experience with the Lennar and i would say i will buy it again with them in the future although our escrow closing has been delayed 3months and materials that used for the new home seems bare minimum quality products. Im saying this so hopefully the Lennar will consider this into for the future home buildings. The reason i would buy it again is people who are working for the Lennar. Lindsey Chavers homebuyer concierge was there to address my issues and support so i could put up with 3months delay problems.A huge thanks to her! And once we have moved into the new home ...

There were a few major issues in this house after it was closed on 7/26/24. I received keys after closing on 7/26/24, there were no blinds and no cleaning at all (lots of construction remains everywhere). Reported Leaking water from the 2nd floor and garage on 8/6/24. The construction was done on 8/21/24, including drying the wall paint. The water was leaking from the attic. The AC company visited twice. The last visit was on 8/16/24, but the water dripping issue is exactly the same (please see attached photo – Destiny told me that I can submit another ticket to recheck the roof or other ...

I feel like I was rushed into buying my second choice of the units since the release procedure was somewhat unexpected in terms of timing. Sometimes only a few hours before the Buyers response was needed to confirm. Eventually, my sales agent did give me a heads up on a unit that was available, but wasn’t my first choice, the reason I took it was your prices were going up every week. I guess The services and offers were much better in northern California compared to Southern California My friend got a house in El Dorado, California from LENNAR and her solar panels were paid. From sales to move in, everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. There are two areas of improvement. One is the electronic documents. Many get posted with titles that don't fully make sense to the buyer. Please use plan language rather than acronyms or other wording that a buyer would not understand. Our biggest issue was with the outsourced underwriter. Although Lennar Mortgage was excellent, the underwriting company made the mortgage process painful. For buyers with excellent credit, they went overboard. For example, asking for the source of a $50 deposit and wanting to see a ...

The purchasing experience with Lennar was decent. Everything is mobile and electronic. This posses a couple of issues from my POV. I never had just one point of contact to reassure me along the way, weekly follow ups did not exist and unless there was a person on the phone little was explained, ei… sing this, sign that ect…. The quality has a great feel to it, and up grading your flooring is a must. I did and it looks great. I knew that using the builders flooring I would get charged around 25% more than another flooring installation. Same with the window coverings, Lennar wanted something ...

Overall I’m very satisfied with my Lennar Home at Junipers. Staff customer service is excellent. Staff response to any punch list items, loan documentation, or any information needed is excellent. I was very pleased with the service. However I’m disappointed that more than 60 homes have been sold and so far the street lights are still not functioning. In addition out of the 2 major entrances to the community only one is accessible with temporary improvements. These improvements should have been completed before the first family move in. We are still waiting for these improvements to be ...

The overall experience has been difficult

Overall the experience has been difficult, we closed in late May and still do not have a mailbox and the address is not recognized by the post office or on maps. It has been extremely difficult to get furniture and other items delivered to the house. Our internet service took over 2 months to get turned on the house for the same reason as the service provider could not confirm the address to be true. I wish Lennar had waited another month or two before closing, moving in when we did has been a very unpleasant experience.

Hello! My expirence doing the financial process with Lennar it wasn't pleasant as I was actuallyexpecting. The person that it was in charge of requesting information seemed she didn't know what she was doing. She made the process stressful. We had a back up Lender and the process was simple and way easier. The day that we received the keys was another stressful day since the garage didn't open and one of the keys open the house once, but didn't work again until Lennar come and fix them 2 weeks later. When finally we come inside the house I almost cried because the house has stains all over ...

Quality issues especially with the electrical components of the home. Fuses blow every other day and at the moment, our electric car cannot be charged because the 220V plug does not bring juice to the electric car charger. Its an every day task to go out to the garage and reset a fuse that tripped in various rooms of the house. The final delivery of the home keys was ridiculous. It was at that point, we as a homebuyer were nothing more then a commission check for the Lennar sales agent. CarMax makes you feel pretty special when you purchase on of their cars and they are 1% of ...
