The sales person I was assigned to work with was not good at all. He wouldn’t respond to any of my questions. He would communicate only when something was needed on the lennar side and he would pressure me when he needed something. His boss was equally unresponsive and unreliable so I didn’t really know who to turn to. We are not local and now after the purchase we need some support and its not clear who to go to for questions etc. While the property is very nice my experience with the hudson team has really not been great

First of all, Felice is great at explaining everything; she is a fantastic person and helped us a lot during the process. Mark on sales was excellent; he constantly communicated with us and was very helpful in showing us the property. From the builder, I am happy, but I also see some quality of the work is not good; something happened that makes me believe they are using non-high-quality contractors; they seem to oversee some essential things to get right and fix (ex, the did not connect the laundry, garbage disposal, minor leaks, dirty carpet with paint) and some stuff that should not be ...

It was hard to reach people and questions were left unanswered. Voicemail was full and responses to email slow. When I did find someone to speak with they always tried to be helpful.

Received an overall beautiful home by Lennar. We were able to see the home as it was being built and check in on it periodically. At one point we noticed a giant in the concrete subfloor behind the fridge and asked our homebuyer concierge Cary Krepelin how this could be fixed. She said she relayed this information to the build team. Unfortunately we were unable to check on the status of this hole until we moved in and the flooring had already been laid on top. The foreman Robert told us this hole was covered with flashing..... which was a complete lie because we removed the flooring and ...

Good price for san diego but keep an eye on quality. They build houses against the clock so theres lots of defects on the houses. Be ready to be patient with them and wait to see if they will help you get it done correctly after you sign it. They do not care of delivering good quality to new homeowners.

Quality wise, defects everywhere, aesthetics and appliances, very different from the model home that entice you to buy. Customer care responds fast but after that the process of making things done/ fixed takes ages, I believe this is all experienced by most of homebuyers of Lennar sad to say.

Defects started to show after 1 week and they say that is what they have to work with - there is nothing they could do - the fire sprinkler cover fell - it still is off - so there is a hole in my ceiling - the patio door lock destroys the wood frame - the tankless hot water has no hot water - my list can go on and on - I would love to have given a great review - but right now It really is bad

I purchased my home about 2 months ago . I am just finding outlets that don’t work the molding is cracked and the shower drain isn’t finished. I could not be present for my final inspection because I am active duty military and I was away. I have been trying to reach somebody because I was never given a key to the pool area but I am getting nothing. I am so disappointed

The overall experience has been difficult

Overall the experience has been difficult, we closed in late May and still do not have a mailbox and the address is not recognized by the post office or on maps. It has been extremely difficult to get furniture and other items delivered to the house. Our internet service took over 2 months to get turned on the house for the same reason as the service provider could not confirm the address to be true. I wish Lennar had waited another month or two before closing, moving in when we did has been a very unpleasant experience.

Lennar made our home buying experience easy. They stood by us every step of the way. Their sales reps, mortgage people and interior design people were knowledgeable and pleasant throughout. They took particular attention with us since our home buying was done remotely, I would happily recommend Lennar if you are looking for a new home.

Hello! My expirence doing the financial process with Lennar it wasn't pleasant as I was actuallyexpecting. The person that it was in charge of requesting information seemed she didn't know what she was doing. She made the process stressful. We had a back up Lender and the process was simple and way easier. The day that we received the keys was another stressful day since the garage didn't open and one of the keys open the house once, but didn't work again until Lennar come and fix them 2 weeks later. When finally we come inside the house I almost cried because the house has stains all over ...

Worst experience with Lennar Mortgage
- Steven Michael R.

Lennar mortgage went up to a week prior to closing and then said sorry, we cannot finance this. we had to go to a loan broker who got us a more expensive (points, interest, amount) loan within 10 days! We had to move out of our old house prior to closing, so we had to rent an AirB&B with two dogs and a cat for one week until the mortgage was approved. Horrible for all!

Some what disorganized and unexpected from a big builder like Lennar

Communication: seriously lacking. Examples: 1. We were first given mailbox Keys without clearly telling the mailbox. Later mailbox keys were rekeyed without notifications 2. Lot of confusion all around regarding solar activation with sdge, sunnova and Lennar pointing fingers at each other 3. Some service items took really long for resolution In the modern era where many home owners rely on security cameras, there are serious restrictions on adding cameras.

I feel like I was rushed into buying my second choice of the units since the release procedure was somewhat unexpected in terms of timing. Sometimes only a few hours before the Buyers response was needed to confirm. Eventually, my sales agent did give me a heads up on a unit that was available, but wasn’t my first choice, the reason I took it was your prices were going up every week. I guess The services and offers were much better in northern California compared to Southern California My friend got a house in El Dorado, California from LENNAR and her solar panels were paid. The home has really some really good features, and some bad ones. The finishing isn't as good as it could be, and a lot of areas show that, especially the flooring. The drip irrigation installed was already broken the second day we moved in, and then a pipe burst a couple of weeks later. Have been in the home for about a month now, and have already submitted tickets. The best part is the responsiveness to the tickets. Diana and Moe have been a huge help.

Cheap materials galore!

Lennar uses a blind bid process to purposefully obfuscate what a reasonable price is. It leads to buyers massively overbidding. Of course, they run a business, so it's understandable, but it massively disadvantages prospective buyers. Their team is good - fairly responsive (at least up until close of escrow - not sure how responsive they will be post closing). Materials used are VERY cheap. For example, cabinets have a LOT of issues, scratches, holes, etc. Really disappointing for a "luxury" homebuilder like Lennar. Cheap materials throughout entire home!

There is a lot of issues in the house like electrical, paintings, dirty windows etc. we did mark some of it during the walkthrough but they just remove the tape but not fix. I placed request for repair but some contractors takes time to respond and come. We closed in August but until now we still have problems. Although our customer care coordinator, Destiny is very helpful.
