Our experience with Lennar has been extremely disappointing. From the moment we moved into our brand-new home, we began noticing poor workmanship and quality issues. We've since discovered a significant amount of damage that appears to have been hidden before closing, which has only added to our frustration. When we brought these concerns to our project manager, she was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed little interest in resolving the issues. The overall experience with lennar was not good.their customer service and humanity lacks in their services. Staf is very stubborn. Would really appreciate if you take other people condition in consideration too.

Not the best workmanship - I had to submit multiple warranty requests with the first few weeks of moving in. Not the best design/Architect. There are simple changes they could have made to make it better like why could not all the houses have porch entry stairs on the opposite sides? This would have made the porch space actually usable. I think they could have alternated 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom houses as much as possible for better privacy - when you have two four bedroom units next to each other, your windows align exactly and you can see each other unless you decide to keep your blinds ...

The purchase of my home went smoothly. Every question I had during the process of my home being built was answered quickly and professionally. Lennar really helped out with financing options and with our of state contingencies…but unable to sell home in Dallas and we had to walk away from dream home. Will try again in future but will sale Dallas home first and be cash heavy to help with down payment.

New build that requires upgrades and work up front

We love out floor plan and some of the features. Once your are in the home, you start to realize the shortcuts or quick work that left behind flaws. We have had to put a decent amount of work into it, getting little things fixed and taking note of others to watch. They don't install anything around fireplace to make it safe for the walls/paint like a mantle or tile. There's no tile backsplash in the kitchen. Some of the mirrors are nice walls hanging, while others are builders mirrors. Doesn't make alot of sense. And then some of the pain and work is just crappy in the end.

Our fence is still not done and we aren’t able to complete our backyard landscaping. There is so much mud surrounding our side of the home and our dog keeps stepping on it, bringing mud into our home. They don’t care to address this issue stating it’s in the land developers hands, but Lennar should step up and take care of this. We have a home with a backyard. We should be able to let our dog in and out to do his business, yet we are having to walk him out each time. So inconvenient and so frustrating. It’s like we are living in an apartment but worse. No one will help us. It’s been 2 ...

back yard like a ski slope

We were so excited about our new home! Until walk through. Finally when it was time to walk through it before closing, we saw that the yard was like a ski slope— the incline was scary steep, and basically not a yard, no grass would grow there. The houses on either side had retaining walls, but not ours. With 3 kids and 2 dogs, this would not work, and Lennar refused to do anything about it, so we did not go through with the purchase and we lost our Ernest money. Horrible experience and so sad

The homes are presented wonderfully. However, after living here for a month, we noticed the Chatmanship is mediocre. The AC vents are loud, various portions of the house that are tucked away are missing paint, plumbing is mislabeled, electrical breaker keeps tripping, among other things.

I like my townhome very much. I feel like the checklist before closing was done quickly and issues were band-aided instead of fixed correctly. I think some of the minor finishes could have been upgraded (faucets, toilet lids, towel holders…all very inexpensive). I also don’t think the house was cleaned before I moved in. Overall, though, I really like it!

Sales agent-ok, mortgage loan officer-nice guy, states experienced but not evident in my experience, living in new home with appliances and should not have issues, but if you do, they may not be covered (unacceptable in my opinion for new). Area open to residents but on-going construction and little consideration for existing home-owners-blocking pathway to get out, driving over sharps (cut, sharp metal, nails)-should be addressed by Lennar

We carried the ball throughout the process, we got all of our requirements completed within 24 hours, then spent the 24 to 48 following up on Lennar‘s responsibilities. Then the bureaucracy was excessive, and overlapping, very confusing for the customer.

Poor construction quality, cheap materials. Scuff-prone paint, scuffed granite, very low-end appliances, post-closing issues. Definitely do not recommend Lennar.

This is the size of house we were looking for in a nice central location in the southern Denver area. We are both closer to work and have room in this house for work from home days or crafting. The only downside I have found, and this is coming from being an electrician and building inspector, is finding all 4 bedroom flush mount light fixtures being mounted with only 1 screw instead of the manufacturer's and code required 2 screws. I have replaced all with ceiling fans.

Great incentives to buy the home with price and interest rate. Lennar had the least amount of items to fix of any home we have bought. One issue with a leak was dealt with promptly.
