Sales office would say anything to sell a home, Shame on us for not looking into a few things ourselves and taking their word. Biggest issues is street behind us, once we moved in found out it is a short cut from Aurora to Parker, CO. Construction team on our home refused to listen to concerns on safety, and structural problems. He has no communication or people skills what so ever. Not someone you would want representing your company.

I have worked with and for builders over the last 20 years and have purchased new homes in the past. This has been a disappointing experience. We were super excited to close on our home in May. Lennar had attempted to move our closing day up a couple of weeks, which did not work with our schedules, so we left it as it. When we went for our first walk through, we shocked at the state of the house. Things were damaged. Things were dirty. We were promised it would be taken care of and ready to go. I've lived in my home for 45 days now, and am generally satisfied overall; however, there are some items to note if you're going into a home buying experience here. Make sure you know your colorways and are happy with them prior to agreeing to purchase the home. Don't let the salespeople, construction team, warranty people, or anyone force you into anything. For the price paid for the home, the construction was reasonable and workmanship was okay.. but you'd expect more attention to detail and prompt follow-up to correct minor issues and ensure the customer is happy. My home is a disaster. I have two different types of baseboards throughout the house (some round, some square), paint on the carpet in every room; almost every cabinet is warped or damaged; the doors are damaged, the mirrors are damaged, and the outside front door doesn't even have trim; there is sealer spilled and mixed in with the grout in the shower, broken tiles, carpet is cut too short and does not even reach the corner in the loft hallway; my furnace is broken and was repaired halfway...this is just to name a few issues and the original warrant rep told me to "lower my expectations" ...

I feel like if my husband and I didn't point out a lot of things that were not done correctly, they would have let it slide. We've had neighbors complain about things missing from their home or not done well. People are in the excitement of getting a new home, there needs to be people in their corner making sure their home is what is expected.

My experience with the selling agent and customer service agent Kami was excellent. Both were very responsive and focused on customer satisfaction. There were a few issues with various things either missing or not functioning properly that are being expediently resolved.

Several items were addressed prior to closing and almost none of them were addressed until closing day. A few of the larger items are still left open and un fixed or in a worse condition/state. There is a major lack of quality control over the trades. Subfloor was not prepped before pad and carpet. You can feel drywall mud through the carpet. There was a 6" hole in the subfloor, carpet guy carpeted right over it. We found it by nearly stepping through the carpet. However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

My Lennar experiences are mostly good. My home is beautiful, and I am pleased to be in it. Questions were asked and answered fairly quickly during the build. If time was needed to obtain an answer but was delayed the string of communication was open and straight forward. Once in the home some items were not completed from the punch list. Important issues arose for instance no electrical on the outside of the house. A call was placed but no return call.
