I had amazing response times from sales and finance team. They made it possible for us to acquire our home. Response to fixing our issues has been quick. I have been disappointed in the quality of some small items such as heater grates and landscaping details that don't reflect our almost $900k investment. A lot of the work has been sloppy with need for repair/replacement. I will say Lennar has been super responsive in having contractors repair. I will share more in the future if our needs are not met, but so far, so good in terms of post closing issues. Hats off to Brad who quickly addresses issues. Quickly addressed all issues before and after closing.

The overall team has been fast and easy to communicate with on a consistent basis. They listened and responded to questions and requests. The item that jumped out at me as a huge difference between other builders is how fast they respond to inquiries. From my experience other builders would take months where Lennar has taken hours. Very impressed.

Shoddy workmanship, they shouldn't use the phrase "Everything's included" anymore - it isn't. No cabinet pulls anywhere in the home. Blinds in privacy rooms only (we had both in our previous homes - blinds throughout, cabinet pulls, nicer appliances, a clean ready to move in home, engineered wood floors, and quartz countertops in the bathrooms - not laminate). House was NOT ready for move in, construction dust everywhere, paint drips all over the floor and carpeted rooms (aren't you supposed to paint before you put the carpet in?), the decorative brick outside the house was falling off in places, outside trim not finished on one of the windows and not painted in several places, hinge pins missing on some of the doors, grout work missing in bathroom, downspout not connected to gutter drain in the middle of winter, cabinet doors improperly installed, back porch slider door was improperly installed. PVC pipes in the basement are jerryrigged to drip into a drain in the middle of the floor. Wow - it looks like someone's DIY job. Lennar makes the home buying process smoother by including upgrades that other builders charge for.

Lennar is the best home builder we have right now.

Do not close until the house is complete with all the options as advertised. Bombardment of emails without awareness of the urgent ones required for closing documentation and frequent missing closing information such as routing numbers etc requiring physically acquiring this information and possibly closing check on the day of closing. After closing and being inconvenienced after moving all items into house and having to address issues that should have been resolved prior to closing.

The sales process was easy. Lennar mortgage needs improvement. So many repetitive disclosures and multiple times submitting documents when they are clearly on the site. Then, we didn't have the scheduled walk-though at stud stage and another later before the two week before closing walk-through. It was noted that Lennar doesn't like to close a house at this stage of the build but they pushed ahead anyway. The anxiety of not being able to close since there were no appliances until the day before closing was enormous. I don't know why you bother putting appliances in that are low grade and not let the buyer choose. There are several items that were not finished before I took possession that are on "the list". We'll see how responsive Lennar is at this stage. Mostly, the experience was not horrible. It could use some improvement. ... More

My experiences differed depending on the stage of the home buying process and which department I was dealing with.

We love our new home and were very pleased with the quality of the workmanship and especially all the people from Lennar who helped us.

I have a broken wrist and hard to type. i would like to do a very nice write up to Lennar about how exceptional everyone has been!

We didn't like the fact that the builder will not work with the buyer in making simple slight changes in the home. Absolutely none even prior to the start of the building process even though you offer to pay for changes. The appliances installed are low end for quality. The dishwasher didn't work. We had to call a dealer who diagnosed the problem as a burned out motor and were left to wait two months for it to be fixed. You pay high dollar for a very average home. Cookie Cutter mentality.

Purchased while out of state and the experience was fantastic. Constant open and honest communication throughout the entire process.

Everybody was great. The only question I would answer low on is the value for the price paid. Not a fair question in Colorado. Nothing is worth what you pay in Colorado.

It felt like they were just an assembly line putting a product together.

We purchased a model (Prescott) that Lennar did not model on-site at the community we were buying in. Therefore they used a virtual 360 Tour online to let us “walk through” the home virtually. They assured us that the online tour represented the home accurately. The tour showed several high-end structural options in the home such as a gorgeous butlers pantry with glass faced cabinets, and dual shower heads/controls in the master shower, as well as tray ceilings in several rooms. Keep in mind that Lennar is an “everything’s included” builder so their models are “what you see in s what you get” unlike most builders where everything in the model is an expensive option. However when our home was built, they had omitted all of these nice features and then stated that they had made a “running change”. They show me some practically microscopic fine print at the bottom of a floor plan I’d initialed stating that they could deviate from the floorplan at will. So they essentially removed about $25,000 worth of the homes nicest features, and told me that I was simply out of luck. They also be home without rough in plumbing in the basement. Mind you this is almost $1 million home, and Rough-in plumbing is in very basic feature with every other builder. This additional omission of the Rough ins, will make finishing them basement far harder and more costly. Mind you, all of their model homes showed rough in’s. I raised hell, and I escalated this to the president of Lennar for the state of Colorado, and after a ton of protest, he gave me an insulting $5000 credit, in Lou of almost $30,000 worth of features that they had unscrupulously omitted from my home. Very good experience with Lennar!

We love everything about our home and the people who made it all happen. But when it came to issues we found and needed fixing it either went unanswered or took a VERY long time to get responses unless I kept pushing. Still haven’t heard anything about our grass when we first moved it.. it was leaking from the neighbors side into ours and our grass never took before winter so when it comes time our grass will look horrible.. sent numerous messages and never got answers..

Lennar’s team was responsive and helpful with any questions that we had. The equipment set up for the Ring, Wi-Fi extenders, and flow system was straight forward and easy to set up. We love our home so far and appreciate the ongoing check ins from Vivian.

Great home in a great neighborhood. We can’t wait to see what the neighborhood grows into.

Very professional staff from the initial sales team to the warranty team. Warranty guys work hard at being responsive and provide accurate communication along with timely responses when things come up. If and when things have come up it has been resolved.

Great buying experience and great customer support after you move in.
