We absolutely love our home and the process from choosing options all the way through to the construction meetings and home walk-throughs and closing. The process was pretty straightforward with regular check-ins and updates. Our biggest area of feedback is the warranty follow-up now that we are closed on the house. Understanding that trades and materials are delayed at this time, but need more communication and scheduling updates from the warranty team. Other than that, we love our house and the building process with Lennar.

These homes are good for first time buyers, who are not particular about quality. Although, this home cost over half a million dollars! I think it was overpriced for the the quality of the materials and the size of the home.

I recommend everybody to buy leaner home. this builder is more reliable in every aspect including customer service

Compared to other new home builders, Lennar has a better reputation. My only complaint is that Lennar doesn't invest enough in after market customer care. The Customer Care Representative has too many homeowners under his prevue to be able to address issues in a timely manner. If Lennar truly cared about how homeowners feel about such a significant purchase and if Lennar is hoping homeowners will recommend their product, then Lennar should make a bigger investment in their Customer Care staff.

Ava Knight was great! Very helpful and attentive to our needs/wants. However we did have a few issues with their lenders, they seemed very unorganized, we had to send the same documents multiple times.

Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. Quality seems pretty good, workmanship and cleanup left something to be desired. Follow-up for warranty issues needs to be improved.

Disappointed in a few areas that you shouldn’t have to deal with in a new home. Still working to get many things fixed. Overall we love the home just not to thrilled about some of the issues we still have to fix on a brand new home.

We love the home. There were a few things that you wouldn't expect in a new home, most were fixed quickly but if Lennar did a final quality check they would have been caught and our experience would have been better. We still have two issues which haven't been fixed after 8 weeks. They are not quick fixes but are material. So slightly disappointed.

We were super excited to close on our home in May. Lennar had attempted to move our closing day up a couple of weeks, which did not work with our schedules, so we left it as it. When we went for our first walk through, we shocked at the state of the house. Things were damaged. Things were dirty. We were promised it would be taken care of and ready to go. By closing day, nothing had been finished, including missing doors. We agreed to close since we had no where else to go. We were told the work would be done. It’s been two months at the end Of July and there is still a lot that needs to be done, in addition the amount of problems we’ve found in the home. Including water leaks, no security, no watering system, leaks in the sprinklers, dead trees, broke garage, damaged things that were said to be replaced etc. ultimately if we hadn’t had Deb in the beginning of the process help us navigate these challenges it would still be a mess. We are grateful to her. On the post closing side Abby has been phenomenal with trying to get people into get the work done. I feel like without the two of them there would have been no progress. However once you’ve paid for your home, the Lennar team severely lacks in finishing anything that needs to be corrected and fixed. You get stuck on a waitlist behind other already established homes. These were items that should have been fixed BEFORE I ever moved in. 2 months later I’m still waiting for corrections.

Well let’s see. I have no screens no fences no motion detector only one intake for air that had to be fixed a doorbell that does not ring painting that has not been finished and two awnings that’s have not been installed. What do you think. The home buying process was great! Getting anything done after closing and moving in is where the customer service fails. Don’t be so quick to meet the “demands of building houses”so quickly and focus on a good completed product. Would you allow YOUR family to live in a house like this with so many issues that are not attended to? I’m a nurse. What if the tables were turned and you brought your spouse or child into the hospital in cardiac arrest? When attempting to shock a heart into a viable rhythm, no shock came, only death. Not what we expected at all.

The window of the home was given broken and 2 months after closing many issues are not resolved yet. The people just focus on closing tickets without resolution.

Lenar homes are awsome..it is easy to work with them including sales,loans and other stuff. I like to recommend them please make complete the backyard,fence and all other necessary in home like blinds...and include that amount in loan...

Quite the experience, but overall good

This is the 2nd or 3rd review Lennar has sent me which is really sums up the Lennar home buying experience for me. Lots of emails, lots of confusion, no real introduction as to what is going to happen when.

Lennar delivered on time and communication was exceptional. The people working for Lennar are great and were very responsive to feedback and requests. The selections of materials are limited which I understand is why they stay on budget and on time but they are not wearing well showing use after less than 6 months. The quality of the cabinets, carpet and hardwood is low. There is little insulation in the house and the house lives very noisy with significant noise transfer from room to room and floor to floor. We love our view and the layout of the house is great but we would hesitate to buy a Lennar home again. We feel we will be replacing finishes and having to make updates to flooring etc sooner than one would think with a brand new home. Their price point works well and the Everything's Included model may work well for other but perhaps not the best for all buyers. ... More

Sales agent-ok, mortgage loan officer-nice guy, states experienced but not evident in my experience, living in new home with appliances and should not have issues, but if you do, they may not be covered (unacceptable in my opinion for new). Area open to residents but on-going construction and little consideration for existing home-owners-blocking pathway to get out, driving over sharps (cut, sharp metal, nails)-should be addressed by Lennar

The homes are built with cheap materials, walls are thin and you can hear every little noise from neighbors and cars. They do not level the backyard or remove invasive weeds with thorns and stickers. The buyer is responsible for excavating the backyard and the fencing.

Mortgage experience with Lennar mortgage professionals are not very good at all, Craftsmanship and quality is kinda ok, we have lived in our new home now over 30 days and we now see a lot of stuff that is done half fast ,

My experience was ok but I believe there is some areas for improvement here .for example washer /dryer (included as part of the package) got installed abt 2 weeks after my closing. There was no instruction provided on how to activate or get access to the mail box . Had to speak to a neighbor to get the post office address and then initiated the request. Went through few iteration as post office needed deed. Lot of hassle and this could have been avoided if proper information was shared before hand off. I’d something included as part of package like washer/dryer it should done before closing that’s fundamental. Also, I feel after the contract is signed , the customer experience kind of deteriorates with no focus to make the experience better. Regards Raja ... More

I love the covered back porches and Elizabeth location. The Salesperson was great despite not being impowered to make negotiations. Management above her was very slow to respond. Additionally, one item that we asked for them to address and they agreed to was never addressed. Now we have been in the house for a month we keep having issues with the lights falling and notice that floor creeks a lot. Viewing it from the basement it looks like a short cut was made and they will have to address it now as well.

At the start of my process the people were so nice and helpful. When I started the process they told me about what I needed, however once we started to get into it and after I was on vacation I was constantly bothered for information that was already provided. They keep asking for the something over and over and for info that I did have or could not retrieve untill a later date. Even after I told them I would not be able to get so.ething they asked for till a certain date they made a due date that was unreasonable and before when I already told them they would have to wait for it. Th construction quality has not been very good. The material used is below standard. All the construction issues are being marked as within limit, which is not good. The quality of the product does not match the price paid.

Some of the people that we work with were amazing and sweet but there were others that weren’t too friendly. When we contact them they would seem annoyed. The home we brought was suppose to be “move in ready” by a certain date. Once we closed on the home they clearly did not finish everything in the home, it seemed quickly put together. A lot of mishaps with the home, I’m glad they have a one year warranty on the home but to find numerous things wrong with the home that weren’t fixed during the blue tape walk through was disappointing. It seemed that the workers were fixing things in the home the day of closing and they were done with the lowest quality of care to be frank. They also messed up our mailbox situation and we weren’t receiving our mail for weeks which incurred late fees on certain bills. The customer care service person stated they notice that we had two mailbox addressed to our address but didn’t care to say or fix it until I came to them with the issue. If anyone was to ask if they should purchase a Lennar home I would 100% not recommend, unless they have a lot of free time on there hands to deal with situation after situation as they’re careless and are just trying to mass produce these homes to get it sold. ...
