We’ve been dealing with a refrigerator issue that still hasn’t been resolved the breaker keeps popping and lennar and GE keeps passing the blame back and forth. The carpenters and concrete people are terrible.

First - I love my house. The design and size is perfect for me. There are many things that done well, especially the insulation. It might be warm outside, but not inside the house even without the air conditioning. The customer service rep has been great and has tried to quickly have my issues resolved. However, several of the issues reported should never have made it pass the final inspection before settlement. From sales office to after sales customer service team are responsive and get issue resolved . Except Lennar mortgage was a horrible experience with mortgage agent to underwriting, except Cherry , the person who collect documents .

Right from the beginning my experience was positive. Matt B was knowledgeable and forthcoming. My timeline was pretty much adhered to. And since moving into the home a response of the warranty people has been very positive. I would recommend Lennar homes to my friends.

I would never recommend a Lennar home. We had to buy from them because we wanted to be in the neighborhood where they were the only builder. Within one week of closing, shingles were blowing off the roof and within 3 weeks we were catching buckets of water from the leaks in the roof/ bathroom vents. I could go on for a long time but hopefully you get the idea. They are responsive to issues because thats how they manage their business, by never doing things right the first time.

While the home is decent, it's important to remember you're not buying a custom home. You can ask for things, but the answer will always be no. The welcome meeting on purchase day was a horrible experience. We walked in on a red carpet, but it was just for show; it certainly wasn't followed through in words or actions. The beginning of the welcome meeting was the reps bombarding us with a list of don't do this and don't do that. There was no celebration or positive experience. I received a warm welcome when I walked into the showroom from Jane. She wasn’t pushy and really lessened to what I wanted in a house. The 2 Chad’s kept me up dated on the progress of my house every 2 weeks and answered my questions and concerns promptly.

It is clear that the point was to complete our house as soon as possible and cut corners. We were given the run around on everything and all involved Lennar employees were more interested in other things than helping us. It takes forever for things under warranty to get replaced and have someone come out to do so. Th Customer Warranty Rep said multiple times "thats all you can do" on things link the staining of the railing, the crappy wood used for our front step, and pretty much everything else. There have been multiple issues since moving in. The front rain spout that goes underground had to be dug up twice, as my drive way was an ice skating rink due to overflow. The flooring was not installed properly and had to be repaired, then the baseboards had to be repaired by 3 different people! The upstairs bathroom tub has cracks apparently from shipping and the manager just had someone repair it. I bought a brand new home I expect brand new everything. The oven is not level and hasn’t been fixed yet. The granite countertops are now pulling down and away from the wall; all that will be ...
