closing day ,we just arrive the House was with the open doors ,, the dust was coming in ,, was sad because I was hope a great day for us an it was not, they repair the issues two weeks after closing,, hvac never had air filters,, the Hause was dirt dust everywhere ,, one hole drill in one bath why I dot kwon ?

No Oven On Move In?

Moved into my house with a gas oven but my house was built for electric. Construction manager k ew about it during my walk and guaranteed it wld be replaced by move in day.....didn't happen. My realtor and I called every number for Lennar we could find to get the situation resolved before Christmas dinner. Took three days to finally get it. Customer service was horrible. Can't believe that happened. Manager knew about my issue and stilll went on vacation with his family k owing I had no oven. Ridiculous

Customer Care follow up is lacking. my refrigerator needed to be replaced due to interior damage causing my produce to freeze repeatedly. I’m going on two months and I have still not received a replacement or any responses from LENNAR. Several other very simple repairs need to be completed (carpet repairs, electrical panel door latch repair, exterior paint touch up, cabinet door paint drips), but other than virtual meetings identifying the issues, no scheduling repairs or follow have been done. Very dissatisfied with Emily’s failure to return calls or follow up accordingly.

We were placed on the "VIP" list for our home in the volatile Colorado home buying market in November 2020. 48 hours before going under contract on an agreed price, we were told that our signing date was going to be pushed back a few months ( Due to covid of course ) and there would be a 20K plus price increase. We were told by a Lennar employee that the reason for the increase was because Lennar was underselling their homes so they increased prices to generate profits (this employee also stated this to our realtor ). Lennar's motto is "Everything's Included" yes... but... Things that are NOT included: Washer/Dryer, Door/drawer pulls for cabinets, fence, back yard, more than one bare thin coat of paint. During initial conversations we were told that there were closeout specials and that we could make an offer and things would be accepted, this was far from true. During the loan processes we were told that 4% was available, this was also far from true. There were a lot of places where it felt like Lennar made promises that they had no intention of keeping and it very much soured me to the experience. ...

Home buying experience with Lennar

As soon as we signed the contract, it all went downhill…Lennar struggled and still have not completed items from the Home Celebration walk. You need to chase them to complete otherwise Lennar tries to close the items without completing. Condescending attitude while you bring outstanding items even if it is evident the items are just not completed or do not comply with industry standards.

Dealing with the sales associates and other representatives from Lennar has been a nightmare. Unexpectedly dirty house at the time of sale.

House was very dirty at the time of sale. Many items were not finished. Still lots of trash under the deck. Basement was left unbelievably dirty. People were mopping the floor with dirty mops in front of us during final walk through. Lennar tries to rush in the sale of the house, but don’t really care about the quality. Really bad experience to say the least.

We had problems before we even signed the contract. We should have taken that as a sign and not have went through with it. The communication and respect has to be most disappointing part. Buying a new house is supposed to be joyous moment and instead it was just met with people that didn’t care. This review is a redo of the previous one. The system did not like that I said the truth about the transaction. All my words were decent, grammatically correct and in formal tone. No bad words were used. Lennar is not the best company to buy a house from. They are border line on breach of contract for the product that they give. Complaints are never satisfied.

They promise the world then when it comes to warranty work, they close warranty work tickets due to how it would effect them, use excuses to not match paint on new builds (they replaced a garage panel due to holes and now they say they will only paint the one panel and if I want it to match I have to do it myself. Say its due to normal weathering when I only been here 4 months) My firewall door to garage and the back porch door have large gaps that you can see outside and qhen the wind blows it opens the door. Not a good experience with Lennar

The underwriter ignored us for two weeks. Therefor our loan was delayed by 3 weeks. Closing docs were approved on the day of closing! Horrible. Any issues were not handled right away. I was told the water bill for water for the grass that I do not want on the side of the home would be $30. It was $136! I was told HOA would take over the grass. They did not. HOA is non responsive. Took two weeks to get hold of anyone. Took over a month to set everything us. Horrible experience! I was ripped off on the price too. Same home sold for 17k less and also does not have grass on the side of the home! ...

I have serious concern on price transparency and also the structure and material used . The garage does not have proper structure to park two cars. The stairs from the garage to the main floor is quite elongated. No washer and drawer are included in that package while this was known but when compared with other property seller near by there are better deal available. I don’t think I’m gonnna recommended Lennar to anyone.

Lennar provided the day for closing and there were a lot of items that were not completed/resolved prior to moving even though it was promised thet would be completed before closing. It’s difficult to get any responses from them to resolve outstanding issues and when they provide a date they don’t stick to it.

Everything is Delayed, no internet

Once you've moved in, Lennar doesn't really care about addressing issues: 1.We have no internet service with no ETA provided despite our neighbors having service (we moved in 2 months ago). 2. I've been asked to check the box and mark requested warranty work as complete before it was finished, and it then gets ignored by the warranty team. 3. House was dirty in many areas upon move-in, and that was even with a further move-in thanks to Lennar messing up the closing date. This has been the worst decision of my life. Be careful.

My home is a disaster. I have two different types of baseboards throughout the house (some round, some square), paint on the carpet in every room; almost every cabinet is warped or damaged; the doors are damaged, the mirrors are damaged, and the outside front door doesn't even have trim; there is sealer spilled and mixed in with the grout in the shower, broken tiles, carpet is cut too short and does not even reach the corner in the loft hallway; my furnace is broken and was repaired halfway...this is just to name a few issues and the original warrant rep told me to "lower my expectations" ...

horrible horrible nightmare of a mistake to purchase from lennar. Over priced, workman ship is so poor, materials are obviously the cheapest on market, workers are sloppy and lennar refuses to fix their mistakes. Convinced 2 of my friends to walk away from lennar and will keep on doing so.

Lennar mortgage was misleading during the application process, the home is built with poor quality, items were stolen out of the home after under contract to buy, lennar mortgage closing agent did not provide the original mortgage note or security instrument for my records. They also got an advance on my security instrument for the full maturity amount and are now trying to hide the money they received from the Federal Reserve bank while still charging me monthly payments. Not to mention I closed with Lennar, so explain why Experian says Eagle Mortgage, and Equifax says American Universal ...
