Usually I don’t do reviews unless it’s really demanding. Here goes my 2 cents Sales Initially it all started off well. I had another rep assigned just before closing as the previous rep left Lennar. And this new rep is rude and arrogant. I’m glad I don’t have to work a lot with the new rep besides some electronic paper work. In fact I never met the new rep. I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. Lennar provided the day for closing and there were a lot of items that were not completed/resolved prior to moving even though it was promised thet would be completed before closing. It’s difficult to get any responses from them to resolve outstanding issues and when they provide a date they don’t stick to it.

Unexpectedly dirty house at the time of sale.

House was very dirty at the time of sale. Many items were not finished. Still lots of trash under the deck. Basement was left unbelievably dirty. People were mopping the floor with dirty mops in front of us during final walk through. Lennar tries to rush in the sale of the house, but don’t really care about the quality. Really bad experience to say the least.

We have had a terrible time with our whole building process. We were lied to from day one about what we could choose, lied to about availability of items, gas lit for every explanation, and the entire construction team has been condescending and belligerent. We have had to go all the way to the VP for every issue in order to actually get it addressed. The quality of workmanship and craftmanship is abhorrent. This is the 3rd house we’ve built (1st with Lennar), and can’t believe the how little Lennar actually cares about quality of workmanship. I’m not going to list all the items as it would take too long, but major issues include roof leak, plumbing backup, not building home to plan (forgot conferred ceiling in foyer, forgot brick on column on front porch, Island installed in the wrong place, dishwasher/sink/cabinets in Island installed in the wrong orientation), and the countless other items. We had problems before we even signed the contract. We should have taken that as a sign and not have went through with it. The communication and respect has to be most disappointing part. Everything is Delayed, no internet

Once you've moved in, Lennar doesn't really care about addressing issues: 1.We have no internet service with no ETA provided despite our neighbors having service (we moved in 2 months ago). 2. I've been asked to check the box and mark requested warranty work as complete before it was finished, and it then gets ignored by the warranty team. 3. House was dirty in many areas upon move-in, and that was even with a further move-in thanks to Lennar messing up the closing date. This has been the worst decision of my life. Be careful.

This review is a redo of the previous one. The system did not like that I said the truth about the transaction. All my words were decent, grammatically correct and in formal tone. No bad words were used. Lennar is not the best company to buy a house from. They are border line on breach of contract for the product that they give. Complaints are never satisfied.

We were very excited to build a home with Lennar, and were made to feel like they had an extensive, impeccable multi-point inspection process that would present new home buyers with a gorgeous home upon closing. My home is a disaster. I have two different types of baseboards throughout the house (some round, some square), paint on the carpet in every room; almost every cabinet is warped or damaged; the doors are damaged, the mirrors are damaged, and the outside front door doesn't even have trim; there is sealer spilled and mixed in with the grout in the shower, broken tiles, carpet is cut too short and does not even reach the corner in the loft hallway; my furnace is broken and was repaired halfway...this is just to name a few issues and the original warrant rep told me to "lower my expectations" ...

There was absolutely nothing good about the experience with Lennar. Don’t be fooled by having everything from your lender to you insurance under one roof. They are completely inept and unprofessional. Once we moved in we found the quality underwhelming. From crooked windows that make our custom blinds look like crap to the sprinkling system that won’t shut off and or leaks. This experience was horrible and I would never ever recommend Lennar builders.

Salesman didn’t help. Wouldn’t comp anything messed up that was their fault that constantly delayed my move in dates. Concrete poured just days before close and cracked. Couldn’t even park in my driveway or garage. Wood work was sloppy and cut short. Drywall had lumps in it where the wall was left uneven. Stairs creek after only a week in home. The process to get things fixed under "warranty" as it is put is a horrible experience. I don't know how the house passed inspection with a defective furnace, a missing AC unit, and a missing drain pipe which was dropping water into the basement.
