The quality of home is one of the worst new builds I have ever seen. Lvp floors are not level all over the house and feel extremely hollow because they are floating floors. They make noises with every step and are really loud. Drywall is bowed all over the place, baseboards are also bowed all over the place, counter top island is also crooked and not straight, paint job is terrible and sticking and peeling everywhere, paint and drywallis cracking in every window, the paint is not smooth and feels like sandpaper, touch up paint is a completely different color being used in the house when they ...

Usually I don’t do reviews unless it’s really demanding. Here goes my 2 cents Sales Initially it all started off well. I had another rep assigned just before closing as the previous rep left Lennar. And this new rep is rude and arrogant. I’m glad I don’t have to work a lot with the new rep besides some electronic paper work. In fact I never met the new rep. I wonder how someone with this attitude survives in this role. Mortgage This was smooth. As a first time home buyer I had a lot of unknowns and thus confusion. Rio was patient and took time to explain everything in detail and even ...

I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. When this was expressed, warranty rep and supervisor probably worried we would back out, called people out ASAP to fix issues on the spot while we drove to our closing appointment. To my surprise, everyone left with all the work untouched and at ...

Quality Does Not Match Models or Promises

We have had a terrible time with our whole building process. We were lied to from day one about what we could choose, lied to about availability of items, gas lit for every explanation, and the entire construction team has been condescending and belligerent. We have had to go all the way to the VP for every issue in order to actually get it addressed. The quality of workmanship and craftmanship is abhorrent. The amount of items that Lennar tries to pass off as "normal" or "good", that are actually sub par, barely to code, not to code, not straight, and downright poorly fabricated is ...

This is the 3rd house we’ve built (1st with Lennar), and can’t believe the how little Lennar actually cares about quality of workmanship. I’m not going to list all the items as it would take too long, but major issues include roof leak, plumbing backup, not building home to plan (forgot conferred ceiling in foyer, forgot brick on column on front porch, Island installed in the wrong place, dishwasher/sink/cabinets in Island installed in the wrong orientation), and the countless other items. Trying to get anything fixed is a complete nightmare and a joke. Sometimes a trade won’t show up, if ...

We were very excited to build a home with Lennar, and were made to feel like they had an extensive, impeccable multi-point inspection process that would present new home buyers with a gorgeous home upon closing. Unfortunately, the reality is you’re given a home at closing with such obvious faults that it’s hard to believe that any inspections were performed at all. The workmanship and craftsmanship demonstrate that Lennar is not concerned about quality, only the quantity of homes that they are building at an unreasonable rate. From the moment we closed, getting Lennar to acknowledge and ...

This is my second new build. I thought I was buying with a premier builder when we went with Lennar for our second new build and was expecting a better experience and better quality than our first home, especially when buying a million dollar home. I was wrong. From the very beginning I was disappointed with the quality and workmanship being put into the house. It appears Lennar's contracts with the cheapest subcontractors they can find whom put very little effort in the product they are providing. From framers to landscapers, everything appears to be of poor quality. The close out process ...

My home has many issues from minimal to major. The craftsmanship is terrible and so is the follow-up on the backend via warranty. The cheapest solution is sought in every case and typically requires numerous attempts. This was my first experience buying a new build and has turned me off from it completely. At this point I want to get the home in a condition where I can put it back in the market and put this terrible experience behind me. I have had hvac issues, structural issues, grading issues causing the front lawn to be swampy, missing screens, bowed flooring, warped decking, exposed ...

There was absolutely nothing good about the experience with Lennar. Don’t be fooled by having everything from your lender to you insurance under one roof. They are completely inept and unprofessional. Once we moved in we found the quality underwhelming. From crooked windows that make our custom blinds look like crap to the sprinkling system that won’t shut off and or leaks. This experience was horrible and I would never ever recommend Lennar builders.

Salesman didn’t help. Wouldn’t comp anything messed up that was their fault that constantly delayed my move in dates. Concrete poured just days before close and cracked. Couldn’t even park in my driveway or garage. Wood work was sloppy and cut short. Drywall had lumps in it where the wall was left uneven. Stairs creek after only a week in home. Didn’t even clean the home floors weee covered in dried dirt from sloppy mopping. Definitely not worth 560k. I wouldn’t recommend this home builder to my worst enemy. They just don’t care about the customer it’s all as fast as can be and write up a ...

Lennar - This house was closed on and the quality of workmanship was poor

This house was closed on and the quality of workmanship was poor upon arrival. Items addressed before closing were not completed. The process to get things fixed under "warranty" as it is put is a horrible experience. I don't know how the house passed inspection with a defective furnace, a missing AC unit, and a missing drain pipe which was dropping water into the basement. Also many other thing like a defective shower pan which has not been fixed yet, and installation of defective doors through out the house. The everything included is also a receiving statement as you are left with a box of ...

Windows separated from frame. Carpet cut short pulling away from floor. Walls are not straight. Bad drywall finishes. Doors don’t close right. 5 different shades of concrete, because they don’t know how to mathematics. Very poor workmanship for such an expensive house.
