Warranty department is horrible

Warranty subs don’t finish on the same day and don’t clean up. I have missed a lot of work due to this. I am also waiting on fix to my carpet padding that has a lot of hard plastic chunks in it?

Number of times took off from work to accommodate repaired makes it feel like a brand new fixer upper. Very disappointed I was not told that every time I refinanced my home, I have to pay $250 to have Sunstreet do subordination paperwork. Why is Sunstreet even on my title . Unhappy

Well designed with minimal wasted space and material. Typical material quality for a mid level home. These are not custom homes but provide good value for the money. We have had very few problems to date, however our neighbor has had many problems some major. We improved some of the areas of the house to provide a more custom house, but the basic floor plan is very well designed. If this was a custom house I would have made a few changes but overall this floor plan works very well for our needs. It would be great if Lennar had a high end package that would allow you to upgrade to even ...

Shimming and shaving of interior walls poorly done. Walls bowing and bulging in several places. Many times we’ve been told the fix is worse than what you have. Concrete work poorly done. We finally got the driveway replaced but we still have cracks on front steps and sidewalks.

We are in awe of our home. It is phenomenal! Great value, quality and we had a perfect experience with Lennar. From Debbie (sales) to Adam (construction) to Sarah (finance) to Peg (warranty) ..they were all FANTASTIC! Their communication with us was excellent. We have never experienced this with other home builders. We highly recommend Lennar at Whispering Pines!

We love our Lennar home and our little neighborhood. Responsiveness on warranty work is a real problem. They are slow to respond and I have had to contact them multiple times on the same issues. I was also told that some of the things that were faulty was built to Lennar standards, which I find hard to believe.

Considering the amount of money paid, the customer service in regards to warranty work has been awful! I feel like I get better service at drive thru window. Timeliness and communication from our rep Ryan is some of the worst I've ever had. When I asked for contact info for the supervisor, the request was ignored and it wasn't until I reached out to the sales office that I got that information. After a week and a half I have not had the supervisor Chris follow up with me on our conversation on a request that he said he would make with one of the trades. It appears that culture of the ...

From the sales process, to the selection of a few options; our home is exactly what we wanted. The construction process stayed on track even with weather issues. This team made ever commitment made. The progress inspections were clear, addressed any concerns and all items were taken care of prior to closing. Post service has been outstanding. Any issue raised was addressed, explained and taken-care of within a reasonable time.

I don't think I would buy a Lennar home again at this point. There are many things that they cut back on, that really cheapened the house. For instance, our engineered wood floors have had so many chips, and peeling issues that it feels like we have a standing appointment with the flooring company, and their fixes only last a little while. Our yard is a mess. It does not appear to drain correctly, so we have algae growing on our sidewalk. Chip, our project manager says he thinks everyone is watering too much. But that is not the case. Our grass is a swampland out front. We keep asking ...

There have been a decent amount of issues that we have had since moving in, especially with appliances. There are things we have noted around the home that are done cheaply for the price and size of the home.

Make sure as a new buyer you are present for the final walkthrough and customer orientation. Purchasing our home from out of town meant we missed both and were behind the eight ball from the start. Quality seems pretty good, workmanship and cleanup left something to be desired. Follow-up for warranty issues needs to be improved.
