We have countless issues since moving in, ranging from a gas leak to terribly installed carpet. It’s honestly been exhausting. Staff is rude and unprofessional.

It took long to get approved but we were happy that the house was kept for us.

Multiple times through the entire process we were disappointed that Lennar discontinued many practices, even from one house to another, seemingly at random. When preparing the contract to purchase, we stopped by the model home to speak to the representative and every single thing we liked about the model home we were told they no longer did in this neighborhood. It was very disappointing, but we had already made plans to purchase new construction due to high interest rates. There has also been quite a bit of cost cutting throughout the entire house. We have a 7ft “crawl space” with no access to it because they said they didn’t have to (this was specifically told to us when it was brought up multiple times, even though they put our HVAC down there that needs new filters often). Another thing is that all of our hinges throughout the entire home are spray painted white instead of matching the hardware on the rest of the doors and it looks very sloppy. Long story short, ever since closing, we have been finishing a house that we feel was incomplete at purchase. Of course we are giving them an opportunity to fix the issues, but we feel they should have done the right thing PRIOR to closing, considering Lennar’s vast resources. We just really expected a better experience from a builder like Lennar, but in my opinion, profits seem to mean more to them than a good, quality homes and doing what’s right. ... More

I was told that there would be blindes included for the house but they weren’t and there was NO discussion. Then the rain comes and I was hesitant to close because of the damage. I was assured that all would be takes care of. BUT the. Solar is on the roof waiting to be installed. I think that the quality of the home is not there ... The home that I moved from was built in 2013 and the quality is in that house. You have cut Back so much (no handles, lighting, fireplaces finish, flooring,carpet). The carpet upstairs in the house you can see the seams,When that was brought to your attention we were told nothing could be done; REALLY?. For what that house cost it is disappointing!!!! ... More

Overall we are very happy with our home and the community! The largest complaint we have is the workmanship. Attention to detail has been lost for sure. Landscaping and concrete work has been terrible and an ongoing headache. The money Lennar saved with low bid has cost us huge in time spent managing repairs, not to mention the work I have to go back and redo. Lennar, please start taking pride in your own product and ensure quality work is done ahead of time.

Not good! We have so many issues and no help with what we were originally told.

I had the best team I worked with to build my new home in Parker, CO. From my sales person, Mary, who was incredibly knowledgeable on the housing market and Lennar's business trends to Chad and Isaac who oversaw the construction of my home. I received thorough updates on my build process. If I had any questions that were not addressed in a regular update, I felt I could ask about anything and always received prompt responses. The quality of the craftsmanship is on par with a custom home and I know my new home with withstand the test of time.

We found a great home on the best lot. We like the home and the quality of the build. We also used Lennar Mortgage and Lennar Title and did not find them to be a cohesive team. There was more confusion between the different Lennar companies than there should have been. We found that each person involved either was great or terrible. We know Lennar is a large company but each individual you work with represent the company as a whole. Overall we had a good experience with the builder and are happy with our new home.

The best part of this experience is how responsive Lennar was to my needs. This made it a great experience.

Customer Care follow up is lacking. my refrigerator needed to be replaced due to interior damage causing my produce to freeze repeatedly. I’m going on two months and I have still not received a replacement or any responses from LENNAR. Several other very simple repairs need to be completed (carpet repairs, electrical panel door latch repair, exterior paint touch up, cabinet door paint drips), but other than virtual meetings identifying the issues, no scheduling repairs or follow have been done. Very dissatisfied with Emily’s failure to return calls or follow up accordingly.

Lennar’s branding and sales (Sarah was great!) and the layout of my Davis home drew me in. Decent incentives before year’s end. I was impressed with the level of communication through the first months of build. Patrick, one of the construction managers, was super helpful. Once the timeline got closer things started a bit more chaotic. A major hail storm didn’t help. The last construction manager was very frustrating to work with - didn’t listen nor communicate well. Chris, head of construction, came thru in the end — listening well. This being my first new build, I was frustrated once getting into the home on the level of quality of certain things. Paint was a thin coat, cabinets were low level with poor finishing to name just a few. Attention to detail is something I had to stay on top of. Finishing touches for an almost $1m home were disappointing, frustrating. I’ve had to stay on top of the warranty process and push for things to be made right and not be afraid to speak up. First world problems, for sure, and it was an eye opening experience. Would I buy from Lennar again? I wouldn’t do a new build non-custom home again from any builder. Sales experience was good, closing experience was rigid and uncollaborative, building supervisors were good but I was told on at least 4 occasions that pre-closing issues were done when they were not (3 issues are still not done 2 months after closing), and warranty issues are taking months to complete.

Homebuying experience with a Lennar was good. Professional agents assisting throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Lennar.

The entire process was a breeze, the builder kept me honest of all the stages of home construction. And the customer service is very prompt. High recommended.

The nice thing with Lennar and the point at which we purchased the home is everything was an "as is" choice, we picked the home with the features and colors we liked and did not have a million decisions and upgrades to look at. However, for the almost million-dollar home purchased from Lennar the quality of some of the materials and workmanship was disappointing. The state in which the home was delivered was also lacking with many, many spots all around the home with paint spots, spatter and/or drywall mud and grout (in the bathrooms and tiled areas) on floors and shower walls. It was highly disappointing that the feel of this new home (quality and cleanliness) has been about the same as other much more inexpensive homes we have built and purchased in the past. It was highly disappointing that other than some the appliances and the size of the home itself this did not feel like a $900K - $1Million home. ... More

Lennar representatives were responsive and available throughout the purchase process. Orientation was thorough and issues resolved immediately.

Overall the process was smooth, they are good at sending friendly reminders of stuff to be completed.

Quality non existent in Lennar homes.....everything was done as cheaply as possible!

Though we like our new home and neighbors, we live in a major construction area with dozens of Lennar homes in various stages of construction. We knew at time of purchase that there would be 4-5 months of additional construction, but we had no idea that street in front of our home would serve as a staging area for various parts of the building process w. the accompanying dangerous construction traffic, diesel fumes, noise, placement of materials, equipment, landscaping gravel, etc. all right in front of our house with little concern about the effects on residents living there. Had we known the full extent of disruption and potential safety concerns, we would have not purchased here. Yes it is time limited but Lennar could do way more to shield current residents from the above. ... More

Our experience was very efficient, mainly because of the integrated Mortgage and Title services that all coordinated together. We’re only a month in, but overall quality and willingness to address issues pre-sale is great.

We loved the process of buying our home and the smart home features. However some of the craftmanship and materials ie doors and cabinetry are poor or super basic The paint is already scratched off on some of the doors and the bottoms looked warped wood. We will go through the processs and hopefully the ticket system works.

The home buying experience with Lennar was wonderful. They were great at letting me know each week how it was going. Plus, any questions or concerns were addressed quickly. They also closed when predicted. I would recommend Lennar to anyone looking for a great home with great customer service.
