Everything was so smooth with the closing of the house. They kept me up to date on everything the entire time. I love my home!

We discovered some damage a week after closing and brought it to Lennar's attention. The Lennar customer rep took the info plus our assurance that we did not cause the damage, and then got back to us that because we didn't discover the damage prior to closing it was on us. We tried to contact the supervisor but were ignored.

Lennar Mortgage was very easy to work with and that was the best part of the purchase. There were many issues I thought would have been done before closing such as soft close cabinets, paint, and other issues that should have been taken care of before closing.

They need to know how poorly these homes are built and so many incomplete items …

I like my new home. I wish the trades worked better together though when there is an issue since it takes too long to schedule a fix. The customer service rep is excellent in taking care of matters. I found out there are lots of rules in this community, more that I care to have.

There is no word to express our satisfaction. That was a tremendous experience.

Great experience. Great staff that is eager to help. There are a lot of little problems that need to be fixed after move-in so keep a pad to write down all the issues.

I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. When this was expressed, warranty rep and supervisor probably worried we would back out, called people out ASAP to fix issues on the spot while we drove to our closing appointment. To my surprise, everyone left with all the work untouched and at that point it was too late because closing was finalized. Since that moment, I felt that fixing my house would become an issue as they can't schedule till weeks out and I did not realize what a waste of time it would become. I tried to be patient over the many issues I faced; MULTIPLE missed appointments, they give you a 8am-12pm appointment time slot, then sometimes don't show up. I spent many of my days off, waking up early and waiting on people to come. People even show up without an appointment on random days when I'm not home. Poor communication. Flooring people missed two appointments..but then on the third one they were able to fix the floors which was great. I did not use my main shower for the first 3 weeks after closing due to poor quality and holes in shower tiles. Painters don't take off shoes when entering home to go upstairs on carpet. I had electricians come fix my outlets and I asked painters to take covers off before painting and they ignored my request and painted over it, making it very unsightly. When I asked them why they didn't take the covers off, he laughed at me and said "its never going to be perfect". I don't expect perfect but I would hope for BASIC quality for the price of the house, not a giant outlet with goopy paint. I would honestly do it myself if Jake brought over the can of paint he said he would give me but never did due to a family emergency. I try to appreciate all the work they've done so far, but I wonder how things would've been different with better quality, efficiency, and communication. Cabinets are all dented/scratched, they touch it up and they still look bad.. still in the process of replacing some doors. The list goes on. Jake was excellent at addressing most of my concerns and responded in a timely manner, but he had a family matter with time off work and I had to resubmit all my claims which further delayed the whole process. The frame is decent although you need to watch them and stand up for yourself. Finishing work is ok. Trim is rough in spots, painting is ok if you like having paint on your carpet. They do clean it but I have never heard of the carpet and finishing going in before they do the painting.

I had a great experience working with the construction crew and supervisor. The process from construction to the house being done built was good with great responsiveness of issues regarding the home and other issues throughout the process. However my experience with the sales team and loan process was bad, the responsiveness was terrible, communication was bad and questions that I had were not answered till days later . As a customer buying half a million dollar home there should be a bit more communication. There should also be more professionalism with the sales team and them not expressing so much of their emotions if a client is having second doubts of buying a home, also the negotiation on the price of the home was terrible. I had to reach out to the sales region manager so I can negotiate the price of my home since the sales team weren’t budging on anything. I’m positive you guys have lost multiple customers due to price negotiations because the sales team won’t try to workout things out and those customers gave up but could’ve bought a home if they would have just called the region sales a manager. ... Our experience was OK at most. Did not receive much of communication throughout the stages as we received on our last new build with another builder. A few things were promised, then changed in the end. The excuse was COVID. The lennar lender was horrible to work with. She said we were approved before signing the contract on the home and then did not receive any information until 3 months before closing letting us know that we were not approved and at the same day selling our current property. So we had to go with another lender in a hurry and received a higher interest rate because of it. After the home was completed. The quality of workmanship was not all that great as far as finish touches. Texture on drywall is patchy in many places that you can tell that the tradesman did it at the end and tried to hurry in order to close. There is also drywall mud and paint on areas of hardwood that we are still trying to get out. Not finished at 100 percent as we would have liked especially paying the price for it. Catherine was a big help. She was kind and understood the stress we had been going through. This superintendent was always there when we had questions and was a phone call away and still is pretty much until this day. Much appreciation to her. Moved into my house with a gas oven but my house was built for electric. Construction manager k ew about it during my walk and guaranteed it wld be replaced by move in day.....didn't happen. My realtor and I called every number for Lennar we could find to get the situation resolved before Christmas dinner. Took three days to finally get it. Customer service was horrible. Can't believe that happened. Manager knew about my issue and stilll went on vacation with his family k owing I had no oven. Ridiculous

Great experience, great staff and love the house.

The genex suite keeps tripping breakers. Substituted wooden drawers with plastic. Keep trying to get them replaced. Fireplace was not even connected properly. Still waiting.

Our home buying process started from out of state, everything went fairly smooth at the start, and when we were local were even able to switch lots. After that construction updates were few and far between, with a delay in close date, which I understand is the nature of the beast. We found it odd there wasn't technically a blue tape walk, although we used our orientation to do that with the customer service person. Once we got to closing that was smooth, however the construction manager and customer service rep for Lennar told us to compile our list of things that needed attention within the first 30 days and get it to them so they could knock out everything at once. At 30 days we've found a bunch of bigger issues that need help and just a ton of little stuff that I fear will never get the attention. We were told we need to submit everything through the warranty portal. Well, if that was the case I wish I was doing it as it came up because now it's going to be quite a task getting it all in at once. Additionally the issues at closing still haven't been addressed so it leaves us little hope for the small things. Ultimately, did they build a strong house - yes, and we're grateful. However the workmanship is very poor in the house and would definitely advise a loved one to be cautious of that if considering Lennar in the future. ... More

Overall I am very happy. Their sales staff was great. My only real complaint is the lack of two very small but important items. 1) No plumbing for gas dryer. The gas line to the stove goes right by the dryer, but they did not even leave a "Tee" for a later dryer installation. 2) No electrical outlet in middle of living room floor. Would have been inexpensive to add ahead of time. Without it, no way to power lift chair, laptop charging while lounging, or electronics in the seating area. Only option is to run an extension cord through a walk way. Both complaints are minor , but very simple for the builder to address ahead of time. In my opinion, these are both "must have" items. There are still a few follow up items - but I assume they will take care of these when the weather improves. ... More

We are a second time buyer with Lennar. The quality of craftsmanship this time around is shockingly bad. The amount of items with have requested for repair is countless and while our representative does have people come out to address them, the folks coming to repair tell us they are not the right person and nothing gets fixed. The floors and stairs are creaky, every baseboard is damaged, our sink is scratched and damaged, there are huge stains in our concrete- it’s just bad craftsmanship.

Amazing experience, great home and fabulous construction team and warranty team.

Scott is trying to resolve the too numerous to count issues and is the only positive for Lennar I would be happy to expand but this has not been what I would have wanted or expected

Every step of the buying process was smooth with Lennar. This is our first home in a new community and every step of the process was seamless. Our project manager, Ian, was very knowledgeable and paid great attention to detail. We also worked with Adam for our walk throughs and he was very thorough and a pleasure to work with. Working with Lennar as our lender was the easiest process we have ever had. Lennar has thought of everything from start to finish. I highly recommend buying one of these beautiful homes.

Where to start? The house was not ready when we closed. Lennar builds houses and then is completely unprepared when someone attempts to move into it. Appliances were not in until the day after we moved in and then the stove didn't fit. Waited a week to have the cabinets moved so the stove could be installed. There was a dumpster in front of the house so only one pod could be delivered. Move in was delayed. Dirt everywhere. Driveway and stairs were not cleaned so the movers had to walk over moving pads and still tracked mud all over the brand new house which Lennar had to have cleaned later. Sprinkler system and landscaping could not be completed because the backflow pipe for the irrigation system was buried behind the stone work. Construction debris under the back porch still hasn't been removed. Loose railing, crooked pendant lights, paint overspray in many places. Several doors needed to be adjusted to close correctly. Opened at least 20 warranty tickets already. Most cosmetic repairs are shoddy and noticeable. Interior paint appears to be one thin coat of cheap paint throughout the house. Zero guidance on smart home connectivity. Ring doorbell installed incorrectly and box was not provided so we cannot pair doorbell to app. Complained about this a dozen timesand still not rectified. Stove vent had to he repaired. Furnace had a water leak that needed to be fixed. Various rods and brackets were missing throughout the house. Washing machine drain cap was painted shut. Every neighbor has similar stories and worse. ... More

This builder should not be in business, I would never recommend Lennar to anyone.

We love our home but but the lender experience was terrible. It is too much to write, but they weren’t prepared with our paperwork at closing and we had to reschedule the closing to another day after sitting at the closing table for 2 hours. It was ridiculous.
