We discovered some damage a week after closing and brought it to Lennar's attention. The Lennar customer rep took the info plus our assurance that we did not cause the damage, and then got back to us that because we didn't discover the damage prior to closing it was on us. We tried to contact the supervisor but were ignored.

Lennar Mortgage was very easy to work with and that was the best part of the purchase. There were many issues I thought would have been done before closing such as soft close cabinets, paint, and other issues that should have been taken care of before closing.

I like my new home. I wish the trades worked better together though when there is an issue since it takes too long to schedule a fix. The customer service rep is excellent in taking care of matters. I found out there are lots of rules in this community, more that I care to have.

I knew I felt hesitant about closing on the house the day of closing, and now I regret choosing Lennar. At this point, I can confidently say that I would not recommend to family or friends. We completed a walkthrough on the house and spent hours putting blue tape on poor quality issues, only to have a small amount of it fixed by day of closing. When this was expressed, warranty rep and supervisor probably worried we would back out, called people out ASAP to fix issues on the spot while we drove to our closing appointment. The frame is decent although you need to watch them and stand up for yourself. Finishing work is ok. Trim is rough in spots, painting is ok if you like having paint on your carpet. They do clean it but I have never heard of the carpet and finishing going in before they do the painting.

I had a great experience working with the construction crew and supervisor. The process from construction to the house being done built was good with great responsiveness of issues regarding the home and other issues throughout the process. However my experience with the sales team and loan process was bad, the responsiveness was terrible, communication was bad and questions that I had were not answered till days later . Our experience was OK at most. Did not receive much of communication throughout the stages as we received on our last new build with another builder. A few things were promised, then changed in the end. The excuse was COVID. The lennar lender was horrible to work with. She said we were approved before signing the contract on the home and then did not receive any information until 3 months before closing letting us know that we were not approved and at the same day selling our current property. No Oven On Move In?

Moved into my house with a gas oven but my house was built for electric. Construction manager k ew about it during my walk and guaranteed it wld be replaced by move in day.....didn't happen. My realtor and I called every number for Lennar we could find to get the situation resolved before Christmas dinner. Took three days to finally get it. Customer service was horrible. Can't believe that happened. Manager knew about my issue and stilll went on vacation with his family k owing I had no oven. Ridiculous

The genex suite keeps tripping breakers. Substituted wooden drawers with plastic. Keep trying to get them replaced. Fireplace was not even connected properly. Still waiting.

Our home buying process started from out of state, everything went fairly smooth at the start, and when we were local were even able to switch lots. After that construction updates were few and far between, with a delay in close date, which I understand is the nature of the beast. We found it odd there wasn't technically a blue tape walk, although we used our orientation to do that with the customer service person. Overall I am very happy. Their sales staff was great. My only real complaint is the lack of two very small but important items. 1) No plumbing for gas dryer. The gas line to the stove goes right by the dryer, but they did not even leave a "Tee" for a later dryer installation. 2) No electrical outlet in middle of living room floor. Would have been inexpensive to add ahead of time. Without it, no way to power lift chair, laptop charging while lounging, or electronics in the seating area. We are a second time buyer with Lennar. The quality of craftsmanship this time around is shockingly bad. The amount of items with have requested for repair is countless and while our representative does have people come out to address them, the folks coming to repair tell us they are not the right person and nothing gets fixed. The floors and stairs are creaky, every baseboard is damaged, our sink is scratched and damaged, there are huge stains in our concrete- it’s just bad craftsmanship.

Every step of the buying process was smooth with Lennar. This is our first home in a new community and every step of the process was seamless. Our project manager, Ian, was very knowledgeable and paid great attention to detail. We also worked with Adam for our walk throughs and he was very thorough and a pleasure to work with. Working with Lennar as our lender was the easiest process we have ever had. Lennar has thought of everything from start to finish. I highly recommend buying one of these beautiful homes.

Where to start? The house was not ready when we closed. Lennar builds houses and then is completely unprepared when someone attempts to move into it. Appliances were not in until the day after we moved in and then the stove didn't fit. Waited a week to have the cabinets moved so the stove could be installed. There was a dumpster in front of the house so only one pod could be delivered. Move in was delayed. Dirt everywhere. Driveway and stairs were not cleaned so the movers had to walk over moving pads and still tracked mud all over the brand new house which Lennar had to have cleaned later. ...

We love our home but but the lender experience was terrible. It is too much to write, but they weren’t prepared with our paperwork at closing and we had to reschedule the closing to another day after sitting at the closing table for 2 hours. It was ridiculous.
