We were very happy with our home purchase. The Sales Team and ***** team and Walk Through team all did an excellent job. As for the quality of our home we are very happy. We have found only a few miner touch up items so far but they can be addressed at our 1 year reveiw. I feel the Team who built the house did a very nice job. Thanks again for a good experience.

Cumbersome electronic signing process

The overall experience was positive. We did experience difficulties when we needed to modify the contact because the house needed to be titled to our trust rather than too us. Sales staff was available and followed through on all requests and questions. The walk-through was very extensive and thorough.

Terrible experience. Grading still not done in backyard and sides. Water pooling against foundation. No response from customer service. Would not recommend Lennar.

The buying experience went very smoothly. Lennar was very accommodating. The workmanship has room for improvement. Paint on flooring and cabinets. Ceiling portion left unpainted. Also heating difference between downstairs and loft area is about 10 degrees. Waiting for that to be addressed by Sobieski now. Carolyn has been very helpful in addressing issues.

Quality and craftsmanship are lacking at best. Responsiveness is inadequate and the HVAC system design has failed in all the carriage homes where I've been able to ask the neighbors. I've been waiting for weeks for a response on a ticket about my leaking water heater. My recommendation to someone who was driving by and asked, was to stay away. In addition, we've been icebound for 2 days because our street hasn't been plowed even once following the snowstorm. Feel free to call me.

It took four visits to get a plumbing problem fixed. It took over a month to get a broken window replaced that started cracking the first cold day we had. We had an electrical issue. Everything was fixed but it took a lot of time. Drywall mud splashed all over the steps going up the stairs over the garage and in the floor upstairs. Over all happy with the home.

Communication was a big issue during this process. I diffinitely would not recommend using Lennar Lenders. My sales representative Laura went Mia after the signing of paperwork. No photos were sent during building process as promised. There's been some issues after purchase that been addressed immediately i must say customer service after the purchase has been great. I love my house and my community. Didn't like the process at all.

On the day that I went for my walk-through, Jerry and Kevin promised me that things will be fixed on that note there was was not fixed and also they promised me that my backyard would be sod and lied to me so I told them that they lied to me

Finishing the details of a new home

Well I was so happy to become a new homeowner, but had to inquire a few times with Hov director about grass on side of house not growing, eventually having to hire a landscaper to fulfill the problem. Also , the stream of water along the side of house isn’t filling with water but instead the water from the street is gathering a large puddle and not draining into outlet! My husband, Tyrone, always say “Teamwork makes a dream work”. We never thought we could close on our home in 19 days. However , Lennar has a group of professional staff who provides excellent teamwork to ensure we got to closing on the date established once the purchase agreement was signed. The finish work was pretty bad. Lots of warranty issues for the yard, the flooring, the bathtub, cabinets, keys to my house, and no internet, just a few. Everyone has been very nice. I know they are very busy, but i don’t think there should be this many issues in a new home. I’ve done my own spackling and touch up paint, and pulled 5 large bags of weeds. My side and back yard look horrible. I have no complaints about any of the people I’ve dealt with. I’m not sure who would be to blame for all of this. I do love my home in spite of All the issues. I’m just very frustrated.

The house is nice but you won't have internet access for an extended period of time. Verizon blames the developer who blames the contractor who blames Verizon. There is no communication among the 3 of them, except to pass the buck.

The entire process of purchasing a home with Lennar Homes went smoothly. From looking at the different models; signing the contract/loan application; & closing. They kept me informed & answered all my questions or concerns immediately. Even after moving in, I’m still experiencing their great customer service with the Customer Care Team. I'm mostly neutral on this buying experience. When we toured the development with the sales representative she was attentive and made statements that in the end were not accurate. She worked with us, did our sales contract then moved to a different Lennar site never to be heard from again. We like the floorplan for the home we purchased, but it was not our first choice. We recently moved into our new home in Smyrna, DE built by Lennar. and while we presume the overall construction is solid the design of the home met our expectations. We were disappointed to find noticeable scratches on the sink, stove and countertop which were missed in the walkthroughs. These is a brand-new build, so it was frustrating to see damage right from the start.
