Do not use Lennar financing. Didn't offer any other products except 30 year for a 1 month bridge loan. Cost me several thousand dollars fir a point ad closing cost. Have your own financing Finding several cosmetic issues that need fixing. Response time for mediacom for an internet problem caused by chesapeak was awful Gourmet kitchen has no pull out drawers No ceiling fans or towel racks installed with spec house. Dead sod and the list goes on.

I moved from out of state so I relied on my realtor and Lennar sales rep to assist me thru the process. There were some issues at walkthrough which were addressed by bldg mgr such as dead sod replacement before closing. I drove for 2 days to get to DE and upon arriving at the sales office to pick up my keys I was handed my keys by the sales agent. There was no welcoming feeling from her which I thought was odd. How about welcome to the community or welcome to Delaware. All she said was “I wonder when you were getting here”. Moving on, I got to the house and within 48 hrs my water was ...

The Lennar team was amazing. From my first meeting with Heidi, I knew this was gonna be the place I call home. She answered all my questions and helped me navigate the process. I was very in decisive on which house plan I wanted and probably visited with Heidi 10 times before making a decision, she was super patient and understanding . The sales process was fast and simple. The overall quality of the home is very good. There are little things that are annoying, however, the warranty team are always quick to respond and get the issue corrected. We are very happy with the quality of the plank flooring, but disappointed with the quality of the carpeting. The kitchen is wonderful, lots of cabinets and space. The gas stove, microwave and double ovens are very nice and easy to use. However, for a gourmet kitchen, the refrigerator is way too small and the dishwasher is lacking in quality. Buying a home is very stressful and there was a delay in closing but all through the proceess there was good communication about what was going on. The sales team and the builder team were responsive and helpful. To date any of the issues we have had after the sale have been addressed promptly.

I would never recommend anyone to use Lennar. Maybe using another rep but certainly not Sam Reeves. You settlement date was pushed back 4 months with known pre existing issues. Extremely unaccommodating. Said settlement date was pushed back every week. Was offered multiple concessions and given none. Out of 5 homes I’ve purchased, Lennar was BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had!!! Steer clear of this builder.

Sidewalks and driveways are atrocious. Footprints in both and marked and discolored. Construction dust in basement and garage. Two doors painted in different finishes, on the same door. No sump pump was installed, but that was quickly resolved.

Have a issue with dust or residue from dried rain when the house was being built. I told the building supervisor and there was no response. Purchased to bags of sweeping compound from Lowes to get it up.

I purchased a Lennar home that was already completed do to timing issues with the sale of my home. Doing this on my own for the first time, I sought out Lennar because of a good experience in VA with a Lennar home we bought in 2017. I’m enjoying my new home and everyone at Lennar and their suppliers has been kind, courteous and responsive to any issues or questions I have had in these first two months.

Our sales rep Heidi was honest, up front and genuinely seemed to care about our family. The construction manager, Kyle, and his team were thorough, knowledgeable and responsive. We like the style of our home, but the finishing details are not the best. The crown molding is poorly installed. Very obvious joints are visible. The appliance package is not the best either. Our microwave stopped working after 3 weeks. Took almost a month to get a new one. Our customer service person was great in getting this solved. If it weren’t for Chris C. We would still be waiting. Lennar offered more incentives to purchase a home than any other builder in the area. They were also flexible with me as I did my due diligence. A few items for feedback. The construction manager came off a bit rude while walking through the home the first and second time. My thoughts are some more professional communication skills.
