Do not use Lennar financing. Didn't offer any other products except 30 year for a 1 month bridge loan. Cost me several thousand dollars fir a point ad closing cost. Have your own financing Finding several cosmetic issues that need fixing. Response time for mediacom for an internet problem caused by chesapeak was awful Gourmet kitchen has no pull out drawers No ceiling fans or towel racks installed with spec house. Dead sod and the list goes on.

Too many delays, too many expectations not met

I moved from out of state so I relied on my realtor and Lennar sales rep to assist me thru the process. There were some issues at walkthrough which were addressed by bldg mgr such as dead sod replacement before closing. I drove for 2 days to get to DE and upon arriving at the sales office to pick up my keys I was handed my keys by the sales agent. There was no welcoming feeling from her which I thought was odd. How about welcome to the community or welcome to Delaware. All she said was “I wonder when you were getting here”. Moving on, I got to the house and within 48 hrs my water was shut off. Again, every state does water a little different and I was in the middle of moving in. Lennar, how about knocking on my door to let me know that in Delaware you need to set up an acct with Artesian water. My daughter moved into her home and was told that she didn’t need to call. Some confusion there but again I called to have it turned back on. A week passed and I went to use the oven for the 1st time and flames shot out throughout the entire oven. Scary but immediately turned it off and called our customer care person Chris. He stopped by, made a phone call and had someone out to my house same day to install properly sized converter for oven. Chris was pleasant and helpful. Several weeks now passed and weeds were up to my knees. No grass was being cut until pics were taken on top of the grass becoming brown again. I was watering daily but between drought conditions and heat wave grass was struggling to take root. Fast forward to September and I have a lawn company out to see if they can fertilize/aerate/seed grass. Keeping fingers crossed that they can save the lawn. Meanwhile neighbors have made comments about my lawn. (Embarrassing). Moving forward, to late September and my water meter’s not recording the water usage. Called Artesian and they sent a technician out to see what was going on. Well, he told me that meter wasn’t working so he replaced but told me that the underground area where meter was installed was collapsing and that I need to contact builder to have that addressed. He thought maybe it was damaged during the grading process. I took pictures and emailed Chris again. He did respond and said that he’s not sure it’s a Lennar or HOA issue but wanted to see the pictures of the broken meter and ground so I sent them. So here we are. Next week will be 2 months. I am hoping that I made the right decision to purchase a Lennar home. Overall, I am staying positive and maybe Lennar will reach out and speak to me. ... More

My experience was questionable. The walk through was great. Connor was fantastic and answered all the questions we asked him.

At Planarion Lakes, we have a lovely home and plenty of activities, all set in a warm and welcoming neighborhood.

The Lennar team was amazing. From my first meeting with Heidi, I knew this was gonna be the place I call home. She answered all my questions and helped me navigate the process. I was very in decisive on which house plan I wanted and probably visited with Heidi 10 times before making a decision, she was super patient and understanding . Then I started the mortgage process with Laura, who probably has a million loans going at one time but she made me feel like I was her only customer. Laura answered all of my questions and knows her stuff which gave me confidence I made the right choice using Lennar Mortgage. I got consistent updates from Lisa who made this process so much fun and gave me something to look forward to. Lisa made herself available to me at anytime and always got back to me promptly. Shane walked me through my home pre-closing and explained all of the functions and pointed out final touches (I didn’t even notice) that he would make, then made sure I was happy with the home prior to closing. I have had no issues 90 days in however Mike, my warranty person has been extremely responsive and professional if I have any questions post close. The sales process was fast and simple. The overall quality of the home is very good. There are little things that are annoying, however, the warranty team are always quick to respond and get the issue corrected. We are very happy with the quality of the plank flooring, but disappointed with the quality of the carpeting. The kitchen is wonderful, lots of cabinets and space. The gas stove, microwave and double ovens are very nice and easy to use. However, for a gourmet kitchen, the refrigerator is way too small and the dishwasher is lacking in quality. There is ample lighting inside and out. It would have been nice if the design team would have included dimmer switches for the ceiling lights on all three levels. Also, the front porch steps have no railing. I’ve been told that the steps are longer and therefore are not required to have a railing and that reduces the cost. I will say, it’s only two steps, but, it’s two steps that someone could easily fall on. Common sense is free, but liability insurance cost money. The basement is dry, even after lots of rain, including 3 inches in one day. The sump pump system is well designed and has a battery backup. The electric panel has a whole house surge protector and there are plenty of electrical outlets throughout the home. The garage is huge and can fit two large vehicles and two golf carts. There is plenty of space in the garage and basement for storage along with closets throughout the house. We are very happy with our home and would recommend Lennar to anyone looking to purchase a new home. ... More

Buying a home is very stressful and there was a delay in closing but all through the proceess there was good communication about what was going on. The sales team and the builder team were responsive and helpful. To date any of the issues we have had after the sale have been addressed promptly.

From Sales to Closing, it was a smooth experience. We requested to close the home in 3 weeks and it happened. No bottle necks!!

I would never recommend anyone to use Lennar. Maybe using another rep but certainly not Sam Reeves. You settlement date was pushed back 4 months with known pre existing issues. Extremely unaccommodating. Said settlement date was pushed back every week. Was offered multiple concessions and given none. Out of 5 homes I’ve purchased, Lennar was BY FAR the worst experience I’ve ever had!!! Steer clear of this builder.

Lennar delivers a quality product for price! Should make all siding cement boards & get rid of vinyl cheap siding! Than a GREAT product!

Sidewalks and driveways are atrocious. Footprints in both and marked and discolored. Construction dust in basement and garage. Two doors painted in different finishes, on the same door. No sump pump was installed, but that was quickly resolved.

Look for dust in the basement at walk thru. have it cleaned up before you accept your home.

I purchased a Lennar home that was already completed do to timing issues with the sale of my home. Doing this on my own for the first time, I sought out Lennar because of a good experience in VA with a Lennar home we bought in 2017. I’m enjoying my new home and everyone at Lennar and their suppliers has been kind, courteous and responsive to any issues or questions I have had in these first two months.

Great design home great customer service

Refused to retest or fix my radon issue. My home reads 5-6 in finished basement.

Loved the entire home buying process with Lennar.

My only issue with the mortgage entity was some of their requests for data were absurd and unnecessary so we ignored them. The team was easy to work with and friendly.

Our sales rep Heidi was honest, up front and genuinely seemed to care about our family. The construction manager, Kyle, and his team were thorough, knowledgeable and responsive. Lisa, the liaison, was very helpful and answered questions quickly. The warranty team, led by Gil, have also been very responsive and been very helpful.

We couldn’t have been less pressured, more valued, and more accommodated than with the team at Milos Haven.

Lennar made it happen, Heidi was the first stop. From day one, to close Lennar made the process way TOO easy!! Thank you Lennar!!

The whole home buying experience with Lennar has been great! Communication right along the way has been awesome. Any questions or follow ups with our home were addressed promptly and efficiently. Highly recommend Lennar to anyone!

We like the style of our home, but the finishing details are not the best. The crown molding is poorly installed. Very obvious joints are visible. The appliance package is not the best either. Our microwave stopped working after 3 weeks. Took almost a month to get a new one. Our customer service person was great in getting this solved. If it weren’t for Chris C. We would still be waiting. Hard to believe there are no ceiling lights in the bedrooms. There is no egress off the back porch either so the homeowner has to spend money right off the bat if you want to get off your porch without going back in the house. Also, the basement floor was filthy with clumps of dried mud/concrete all over. We needed to have it professionally cleaned. The front porch was also very dirty with mud and paint on it. It would have been so nice if Lennar took pride in the finishing details of their homes before handing them over to the buyer who paid a good price for their new home. ... More

Our experience was positive. All persons involved were helpful and responsive in a timely manor. There were no major issues and we feel our purchase was great value for the amount we paid for the home. We would definitely recommend Lennar for a future home purchase.

Lennar offered more incentives to purchase a home than any other builder in the area. They were also flexible with me as I did my due diligence. A few items for feedback. The construction manager came off a bit rude while walking through the home the first and second time. My thoughts are some more professional communication skills.
