I didn’t have a good experience because the sales person Eileen was never available to answer any questions or concerns. She wasn’t very professional and that ruined my whole experience as a first time home buyer. I was even looking forward to a picture at closing but I couldn’t even get that, everything was rushed and stressful. And moving in I have many issues. The dishwasher wasn’t working, the stair way carpet is a mess, I have a cabinet broken on the inside. So overall its not a great experience for me.

Decided to purchase an investment property in Florida and settled on Oak Hammock in DeLand. Our salesperson (Madison) was great with offering us up a deal we couldn't refuse, and Lennar overall offered up a quick and (mostly) seamless 3-week cash close which we were happy about. Their closer, Kristen, was very on top of things up until the close. Closing process was quick and trouble-free and very much appreciated. Our sales person was jolly and happy but ill-prepared from beginning to end. Uninformed, unresponsive, fragmented answers, and less willing to help after closing. I am not surprised as she already made her commission!! Workmanship was a joke. Unsquared rooms, unleveled walls, irregular tile grouting, dings on appliances, and other minor flaws. No one cared to do a quick inspection before calling us to inspect. Zero quality control. Post-sale repairs are also another joke. Although Lennar is not a bad builder and i love the home the home buying process was poor. There were five different people I was to communicate with and it was confusing the purpose of each persons job. When I explained this they were not helpful and did not improve the process. Just said “you can call any of us.” But the truth was each person had a different job. Very confusing and frustrating. House is built cheap-I had to epoxy garage floor because lennar won’t fix it-that cost ME $2500-and the air conditioner-heater is not proper size for this size house-it’s not big enough- and that was documented by house inspector!floor tiles have lots of chips etc.etc

Samantha with Lennar mortgage was rude. I hated my home buying experience with Lennar. You guys were available on Easter Sunday, a holiday to coerce me into purchasing this home. Then when the deal went through, you could not hear or find them. Calls went unanswered. I remember moving day, my Keys won’t work for the door. I called everyone I could’ve think on for help. They did not offer no help. I had to pay a locksmith and did NOT receive my full compensation. I’m very disappointed in them. One month into ownership and this couldnt be going worse. Every other day there is something new that is going wrong. The grading on the yard is absolutely horrible and everyone is pointing the finger at something else. This is AWFUL and I am beyond disgusted with the way Lennar is handling this. I have standing water in my yard constantly, it smells awful and I cannot mow my grass.

We did the walk through and issues that were noticed were marked with blue tape , when we closed on the house all those tags were gone , Great , but when we took a closer look we noticed the only thing that had been done was the tags were removed, the ceiling in our garage started to leak almost immediately after we closed on the house , I was the construction business in New York so I have some experience, I got one of my ladders to have a look at the damage and noticed that the leak was there long before we closed the sale, individuals had attempted to fix it but it was like a bandaid , ...

As a fristime homebuyer, the sale associate, the lender and Lennar overall made the experiences tedious and difficult. The lack of communication, attention, and assistance during the process were unbelievable.

The communication with Lenar and especially with the saleswoman was terribly bad, no one gave us an answer to our questions, the communication was a disaster, in addition to the delivery many novelties and low quality products.

Very poor quality. They show you a model home, then drop the bomb on you, it don't come with this and that, bait and switch. Put cabinets in with NO knobs to open them with. Much much more.

The only good experience about this entire process was Jean and Kim. The lender was a terrible experience. The builder started out nice but after the close didn’t really care anymore. Still waiting on promised items. With me buying the flagship house first one on the corner at the entrance of the neighborhood you would think I would be the last client you would want to treat bad. Your reputation is on the line and word of mouth is everything.

Beware of everything they tell you and be careful what you sign. When you ask for repairs to be made you or told that it us not covered or they sent unqualified repair people that have made the problem worse
