Lennar quality in work is not up to par for what you pay for. Cheap cabinets, driveway done incorrectly and answering back with concerns is awful.

Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

Lennar - This is our second and last lennar home.

This is our second and last lennar home. The Constructon quality has gone down from the drywall finish, paint, trim ect. Every punch item is pushed back and you fight to get every repair done. We are not happy with any part of this long process.

It was 14 month of screw ups and problems. Being told things that would or will never happen. Very frustrating and expensive for us to find a place to live for all the months. When I called to complain about the length of time it was taking I was told very sarcastically that I should read the contract and they have 2 years to build the house. It was screw up after screw up until Rob took over as superintendent. I would never ever recommend Lennar to anyone

We had a miserable final walk-thru and we should not have closed without the issues being addressed. Quality of workmanship leaves a-lot to be desired. However, Nick the service rep addressed all of the issues in a timely manner and we are happy with our home.

The sales rep and other staff members that I worked with including the mortgage staff, were all great and very helpful - They were the best thing about buying here. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. My move in date was 2 months later than I was told which was very disruptive for me and my family to say the least. There were numerous issues when I moved in regarding the workmanship and materials, and I continue to find small things. Extremely disappointing warranty service

Shortly after move in we discovered that our master shower had two shower heads installed too close together to be useful. Reported to customer care and they admitted it was a mistake but refused to move the misplaced shower head. Went up the chain with no success. Then our sales rep got involved, and eventually emailed us that Lennar would correct the mistake. On contacting him to find out when the work would be scheduled we were advised that Lennar had changed their minds and were again refusing to correct their mistake. The sales person I bought the home from retired and left me with no one to ask questions. When I tried to find answers., I would be routed several times before someone knew the answers. The person that helped me the most was the loan person. The loan person was very helpful and patient and I give him 5 stars. If it weren't for him, I probably would've walked away.

Community is great, home layout is great. Really disappointed with the cleanliness and the actual process of a home being completed at closing. It appears that the home quality does not matter as long as there is a CO. The rest we can pass off to warranty. If there were some simple checks and balances in place where someone actually went through the homes prior and completed the items. I’m a real estate agent and can say Lennar walkthru’s are by far the most difficult and I am trying to explain to my clients why their home is not actually completed but don’t worry someone will come along ...

The original subcontractors obviously are hired for speed and quantity not quality. If only the original drywallers, painters and plumbers cared...poor drywall work, dried paint specks on the tile and 6 dried paint spots in our carpet and two crooked faucets.

Concrete work is terrible. Promise to be complete at closing was not kept. The house was very dirty. Overall, not up to Lennar standards that we experienced at Lennar in Castalina. What’s happening with your quality control.

I was very excited when I came to the development and chose to purchase a new home. In the beginning everything moved very quickly. Then it stalled. No updates, rare interaction when I reached out first. My closing date was pushed a few times, which I understand is to be expected - but I would have preferred honesty over BS. Closing day I couldn't move in because there was no occupancy permit. I have been living in the house 7 weeks now and I still don't have a refrigerator in my kitchen because the hole left was too small and it has taken this long to be corrected (still not corrected). ...

Many issues from the time we moved in. Poor quality all around the home. Many things needed to be replaced right away. Would not recommend or buy another lennar home after this.

Quality is definitely below what we were used to. Previous Lennar home you can see was built with higher standards. Floors squeak everywhere upstairs. Doors are thin as paper. Front door I can see through to the outside barely has weather strip. The wall moves when you pull on one of the sliding glass doors. Dry wall is barely finished. 2nd floor moves when kids run across it.

The mortgage and sales end was totally unprofessional and inept. Lennar is in serious trouble once this market settles down. Still waiting on punch list items after two months with little to no communication. Would never seek out a Lennar home again.

The customer service from Lennar and the vendors is poor. Waiting for weeks and months for simple fixes and repairs is ridiculous. The follow up from the builder to individual contractors is non existent to very poor. The homes are being closed before they are ready. So many of the issues we and our neighbors have addressed should have been taken care of before closing. We can only hope the the overall quality of the home is good and that we won’t be facing issues for years to come. Also why isn’t the second phase of the amenities completed let alone started. We have been hearing for over 2 ...

Third time’s a charm. If we hadn’t a realtor keeping us updated with weekly videos, we would have wasted two trips to Florida. The closing department and your contract ( I understand ) leaves little room for the customer. Our first closing walk through had no roof tiles delivered / installed, no brick pavers front and back, unfinished kitchen, no refrigerator, unfinished bathrooms, pool and of course no landscaping. After the second request date for a walk through and closing, things still not finished, we simply said we’re not coming till you complete the house. This was on a Friday, ...

Poor communications - lack of choices

During the entire buying and building process communications from Lennar were non existent. Lack of choices in building upgrades. Lennar cut most all extra's including lighting, Very poor excuse for a custom builder. "Everything included" is a joke!
