Many poor design features, overpriced for quality

You need to check every area in the house, many items were not completed

Purchasing my home the Lennar homes was positive especially in dealing with our sales and customer service support teams. My sales representative Susie and my customer care representative Mark are outstanding people to work with!

I know there are delays due to COVID but that cannot be a legitimate excuse for everything. I am happy with the structure itself, but there has been no resolution to some issues that were going to be taken care of immediately. No followthrough.

You can tell it's a cookie cutter home. Can't beat the value

The sales representative has been great, responsive and helpful. The contractor materials were good but his QA/QC was poor. Too many punch list items and issues that are still not resolved. He continues to construct new houses and puts off punch list work 4 months after closing. I did not want to close with some of these issues outstanding but "the builder" insisted and had the upper hand based on the contract. The rating is lowered due to contractor QA/QC and responsiveness.

Get everything in writing and all work completed before you close.

Waited months for some repairs , you write work order day after day. Caller Regional manger just get the run around.

Customer service follow up is marginal

Lennar was fairly decent to purchase a home with.

Overall satisfaction of the home is good the overall satisfaction of the construction going in around the home is terrible. I understand the consequences of living in an area with construction but didn’t realize it would be like living in a war zone. They take little to no pride in keeping the work areas and surrounding lots clean.

Buyer beware that the repair process after you own is not very good. Simple items take a while to correct. Often the customer care team communicates a repair date as a completed work, when actually nothing has been done and it may take several more weeks to resolve. My advice is get it all 100% prior to close and do a complete and through inspection to minimize issues. Don’t accept the sales line that it will all be completed, that will just lead to frustration on your part.

Love our house and community. Some of the craftsmanship is not exactly worthy of 700K plus homes. Responsiveness to warranty issues has been very disappointing overall.

No lighting ,provided, this cause the home to have electrical issues that were not tested until I moved in

The salesperson, Stephanie Miller that we bought our home through did not make us aware of the upgrades that can be made during the purchase process. She also did not get back to us when we had questions. Chris and Dave have been exceptional in coordinating the techs to come and fix the issues in our home.

Kyle, the salesperson was wonderful. He was very thorough, thoughtful and responsive. Lennar the builder rushed the final fin8sh8ng derails and clean up to get our home off the books at the end of the month. We were in no rush to close, they set the close dare and then were not prepared to actually close. There was a lot to complete/repair after our final.walk through. Some were completed, some we discovered were not as we did not move in on the closing day. Issues we brought up were then told it would have to go through the warranty department who then told us the issues were our maintenance problem and not a warranty issue. Every thing thru the closing was great. Sales staff couldn’t be more helpful. Construction supervisor was very helpful and competent. Once house was closed Lennar was less than responsive. I would encourage others to purchase Lennar home but would recommend that prior to closing make sure you identify problems and have them resolved prior to closing.

Damage to window glass and other issues. Also electrical outlets not installed properly. Requiring calling warranty to repair.

Buyer beware. Read the contracts carefully, do a thorough walk through and list each and every needed repair or replacement. Do a follow-up walk thru before taking title. Contractor's repairs are made at their convenience, not yours.

Unbelievably difficult to get anything fixed. Will NEVER buy another Lennar product

Changes are made to the house without telling the buyer.

A few staff made the after purchase activities a traumatic and stressful situation. The house is okay but know the model houses are upgraded and made very nicely. Your house will not look the same and the quality of the work does not compare to the one provided to the model houses.

Not good on helping with warranty items

The builder had three heads (Sales/Construction/Closing). Ryan (Sales) did a good job. Sadly Construction and Closing were generally poor. Unnecessary pressure was applied by Closing whilst Construction obviously could not achieve the completion dates given. Completion delayed by three weeks due to poor workmanship, mainly damaged doors. The Construction guys are OK when you find out who they are. From a Purchaser's perspective, the completion and closing process could be much improved by using a single point of contact.

The workmanship on the interior walls is very bad, when doing the walk through there were no lights in the home, so we could not see how bad it really was, but now that we have lights, the walls are terrible. The dryer was not installed incorrectly because the set screw was not tightened on the cord and that caused smoke and arcing, we have not had a dryer in 3 weeks. The tree in the backyard has been leaning almost to the ground since we moved in and looks terrible. Overall, I am very disappointed in the quality of work for a 2036 square foot home that we paid $441,000, I expected more from Lennar and could not possibly recommend them to friends or family. ...
