This is our second Lennar home and we love the floorplan. Their homes are good values, but this one had many more quality issues than our first. Also they used to brag about how technologically advanced their homes were, but perhaps due to covid and staffing shortages, the technology in this home was essentially a DIY exercise. The home was not even close to ready when we did our walk through and the closing was bumped twice due to garage door availability. A few of the more major issues were: 1. The kitchen cabinets and granite in the kitchen weren't set properly and the range/oven didn't even fit in the resulting hole! They are going to reset the cabinets and the granite. Hopefully this will be done well. 2. The Kitchen floor also sloped and the island granite had to be shimmed 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch to level out the surface. This wasn't done well and looked really bad. We will see how they choose to fix this. 3. The door to the garage is crooked in the frame, allowing light and wind to come in. It isn't clear if this can be fixed without replacing the door. 4. Lastly, the most disappointing thing was the internet pre-wire. While they used CAT5e wiring and have a nice sized equipment box in the home, they actually terminated the CAT5 internet wire in each room with TELEPHONE plugs! This was done correctly in our 2018 Lennar home. This meant I had to rewire EVERY internet outlet in the home if I wished to use them for their intended purpose. The RJ45 internet jacks are NOT hard to come by, so this was done just because Lennar didn't want to pay their installer to do the job right the first time. 4. Most items identified before and during the walk through weren't finished at closing, and a few of the large issues are still being worked 5-6 weeks after closing. This is the fourth home we have built, but this has been by far our most frustrating home building experience. Of course there may be a few items that need fixed after closing and Lennar is extremely attentive and timely in completing the needed repairs. Quality for type of home is excellent!

The market is so crazy! We went to the Bonita Springs office and met with Rick - salesman - who told us that Lennar was taking bids for the remaining lots. He said that he would not be doing it that way. They had 2 lots opening soon and that he was naming the price. He said in order to be considered for the lots, we couldn’t have a realtor to represent us and that we needed to be cash buyers! A couple days later we were passed off to his coworker Susie. We went along with these business tactics because we wanted a house in that community. We had a bigger home a street over and a carriage home. We knew the Community was Lovely! Lennar does know how to build a community. It just our experience with the salesman that was ver questionable. We were given a closing date. They wanted our money , but could not guarantee we could have occupancy. We closed and Our home was also in very bad shape when we moved in. They are managing to get all of the work done on the punch list. The other homes we purchased from Lennar were a much nicer experience. ... More

Bidding process was a bit insane and feel like it is making purchasing a home in FL a challenge. Overall, we didn't get many updates from the sales person or CM during the build process. We were lucky enough to be in FL already and were able to go to the site weekly to inspect. Many issues called out during the build process were not addressed and/or fixed. Our punchlist during walk thru was huge and they did as much as possible before move in, but had a good chunk to work thru after we moved in. The Warranty team was very responsive and worked to quickly address our issues.

Very good and efficient people at Lennar

Good building partner during tough times with labor and supply chain limitations.

If at all possible do not closing at end of fiscal year. Things were too rushed and done so poorly. Would consider not using Lennar again if we had other options.

Expect a lot of delays and a long punch list of things that need to be done prior to closing and even after.

In some areas the workmen hurried too much and had to be redone. Generally, the home is well planned and attractive and salesman and supervisors very caring and responsive.

Would not have purchased from Lennar if I had to do it over again.

Very professional. we bought during a difficult period of the Pandemic when supply chains were strained. Lennar did a good job managing expectations.

Starting with the sale we felt we were treated with respect and integrity. ( Jamie) Dealing with Mike, our construction manager, has also been a fine experience. Mike was legitimately concerned with our issues and has done a commendable job addressing them.

Would like more options on materials.

The customer service from Lennar and the vendors is poor. Waiting for weeks and months for simple fixes and repairs is ridiculous. The follow up from the builder to individual contractors is non existent to very poor. The homes are being closed before they are ready. So many of the issues we and our neighbors have addressed should have been taken care of before closing. We can only hope the the overall quality of the home is good and that we won’t be facing issues for years to come. Also why isn’t the second phase of the amenities completed let alone started. I’m loving my new home and SWFL

The pleasure and excitement of buying a house was even increased by the support from Lennar’s personnel during all stages until closing. I strongly recommend Lennar to any home shopper.

The time line for construction was laid out after our purchase. Lennar completed our home in the time they said they would. Some minor issues arose after the purchase of our home, but Lennar responded immediately to our requests.

This is second Lennar home we have had, no issues that weren't taken care of so far. Have lived here for 5months.

Our home was delayed by over 3 months - we will never purchase a Lennar home again We bought a second home using Lennar financing - and that process was horrible too
