I went into closing thinking everything was set and costs were set. I get there and the cost increased $10k. The closing agent and I called the loan lady Ali who was very rude and accusing me of not reading what I signed. I advised that I can walk away from the deal and her response was good we’ll keep your $5000. In reality the information was never given to me to sign so it seems like Ali didn’t do her job. We spoke to her boss who I get doesn’t know the specifics of what was presented in the loan but there was no accountability on lennars part to make it right. I was just told that’s another part of lennar that we cannot control. I spent the entire day to be told the prices changed, which it doesn’t by $10,000. Also there was no concrete cost that they could show that totaled anything near $10,000. I love the home but dealing with Ali and Lennar mortgage made it horrible. ... More

Lennar made it easy to buy, worked with us to move up our closing date, and delivered a fantastic home for a really good price! We expected a great product because our last home was a Lennar. Even after 19 years, that home was still nice. Friends and family came to visit our new home and even the most picky person said the home is high-quality and complimented the interior finish with "Lennar didn't cut corners, the finish work is fantastic!". We've lived here 2 months and we love everything about this home.

Found th design house in a different development than first wanted. Multiple POA restrictions. Showed us house. Lied about being able to use Burnt store marina pool. Later told about easement which restricted pool layout. Mortgage sent multiple paper work- some sent multiple times. Had to wait 2 days to get keys after our settlement. Not a great idea to buy a lennar house in mixed community of builders. House vacant over a year. Had lots of bugs on the floors. Even blood on floor and wall. Still with problems getting onto website to report problems.

My first-time home buying experience with Lennar was extremely disappointing, and I feel obligated to warn other homebuyers especially first-timers before they commit to this builder. From the beginning, communication was a major problem, especially from both the loan officer Nick and the construction manager Nick. As a first-time buyer, I expected guidance, reminders, and clarity throughout the process. Instead, I constantly had to remind them of important deadlines and follow-up on documents that they should have been managing. Their lack of communication created unnecessary stress and confusion from start to finish. The situation became even worse when we were told our home would be ready for signing before the end of the month. Based on Lennar’s own timeline, I informed my landlord that we would be moving out by the end of the month. But sure enough, we were delayed from our original closing date which was NOT due to the home not being ready, but entirely because of the loan officer Nick’s failure to properly walk me through the loan process, explain documents I didn’t understand, and communicate critical deadlines for submitting paperwork. My original closing date was October 5th. It was delayed the day before twice in a row. I didn’t end up closing until October 23rd. That nearly three-week delay left me and my family extremely stressed, unsure if we would even be able to secure the home before the date we told our landlord we would be moving out. All of this could have been avoided with basic communication and professionalism. The worst part of the entire buying experience came at the end, when I had already committed and had no choice but to move forward after giving my landlord our move out date. On top of that, the construction manager and his contractors failed to address the issues listed in my third-party inspection which I paid for out of pocket. Most items were simple, obvious fixes, yet many were ignored or “repaired” in a sloppy, half-done way. It felt like they wanted to rush through instead of ensuring the home was delivered in proper condition. To be fair, the only positive experience I had with Lennar was at the beginning with the sales consultant Dan, who was very informative and communicative. He was actually the reason I proceeded with Lennar in the first place. Unfortunately, everything after that especially the loan and construction process was the complete opposite. After this experience, I will never buy another home from Lennar again. The stress, lack of communication, last-minute delays, and poor quality of repairs completely ruined what should have been an exciting milestone. I’d honestly rather go back to renting than deal with another home purchase through them. I strongly recommend future buyers to proceed with caution, get your own third-party inspection, and be prepared for a lack of accountability from their team. ... More

I had an experience that was very easy and transparent dealing with Lennar. I do appreciate ROY helping me in assisting me with everything.

Everyone was great in this home buying process.

The entire Lennar team was outstanding from the very beginning, and they continue to provide excellent service even though we moved in almost two months ago. Carly Pysarchyk, our Loan Officer, was absolutely fantastic. She has excellent communication skills and was always prompt in responding whenever I had a question or concern.

I am grateful and extremely thankful for LENNAR. The house was built beautifully and comfortable. The representative who showed us the property was very professional and kind. The representative from LENNAR mortgage was patient and helpful. She explained and provided assistance throughout the process. I do recommend any person who wants an elegant home to purchase LENNAR. Thank you for your services.

constructions is supper poor, Customer service worst. Sales person no knowledge of product is very minima. I will not recommend to any one to get Lennar property

The sale was easy, informative and very helpful. From start to finish we have no complains. however, some issues with the electrical in 2 of the bathrooms. I called and they gave me a number for the contractor in charge, but frankly I've been busy. I'll for the number again and I'm sure they will take care of whatever it is. I'' give Lenar homes an AAA rating, the best in the market at a reasonable price.

Kyle, the salesperson was wonderful. He was very thorough, thoughtful and responsive. Lennar the builder rushed the final fin8sh8ng derails and clean up to get our home off the books at the end of the month. We were in no rush to close, they set the close dare and then were not prepared to actually close. There was a lot to complete/repair after our final.walk through. Some were completed, some we discovered were not as we did not move in on the closing day. Issues we brought up were then told it would have to go through the warranty department who then told us the issues were our maintenance problem and not a warranty issue. My purchase experience was great. However, there have been way too many issues upon moving in. Customer service has been excellent at addressing the problems, but I just wouldn't expect to still have issues after 6 weeks.

The mortgage process is long and CUMBERSOME, Over bearing and exceeds info needed for a mtge. bad process.

Items on walk through list were only partially completed - for example sealing of door gaps. Tile floors throughout were spotted with glue and paint splatter and not cleaned. Wall paint is horrible - gently wiping removes existing paint. Master shower floor grout is a different color near drain and we were told it was soap scum after 2 showers. No it was not - scrubbing by us changed nothing. Pantry shelving was cut too long and not in the cradle hardware. This should not have taken weeks to remedy. I expected to move into the pantry sooner than that. But - worst of all - our lanai pavers are covered with overspray and paint. We would like to seal them, but will not do this over the paint mess. This was reported to Nathan who promised to take his photos of it to his manager the next week since she was out of the office that week. We heard nothing and contacted Nathan at the end of that next week to get the results from the supervisor and were told she was fired and Nathan was going on vacation for 2 weeks. So now, a month later, NOTHING has been done. This is poor customer service and shoddy workmanship. I cannot recommend Lennar for these reasons. ... More

Overall the buying experience was your typical one…Nothing special. However I would not recommend Lennar Homes as their workmanship and quality of materials used are extremely poor. I have found holes where they didn’t bother fixing because they covered it up with equipment or other items. Homes are built so fast that there is no possible way to have it deemed even sub-par. The electrical wiring is not copper…It’s just wrapped with copper such that when a wire is pulled it simply snaps. Lennar uses the most cheapest material they can find from the quartz countertop (and it’s a mix of quartz and a less quality material) to their wiring and equipment. Even the shower tiles look like they’re from the 1990s! 12”x12” tiles ugly beige tiles! Really??? Don’t recommend buying a Lennar Home. ... More

Same as above and when I called to ask a question I was referred to the supplier not Lennar to handle.

Still have blue tape from QA/QC department all ovef my walls. CM never took notes during final walk-through and failed to do any of the punchlist items. Window clips were thrown on my counter and not installed (told me they were a courtesy and not required). Lied to my sales rep about insulation over garage. Outlets don't work. Paint overspray everywhere. Weather stripping I can see day light through. Metal Studs, vs wood. Copper clad aluminum wiring. $500mm for a cheaply built.
