Third time’s a charm. If we hadn’t a realtor keeping us updated with weekly videos, we would have wasted two trips to Florida. The closing department and your contract ( I understand ) leaves little room for the customer. Our first closing walk through had no roof tiles delivered / installed, no brick pavers front and back, unfinished kitchen, no refrigerator, unfinished bathrooms, pool and of course no landscaping. After the second request date for a walk through and closing, things still not finished, we simply said we’re not coming till you complete the house. This was on a Friday, the closing dept. said let’s see what gets done over the weekend before we call it off. We repeated “we’re not coming 1250 miles to find this mess of a house. Total time from 1st walk through date of mid June to mid August ( 3rd walkthrough date) when our home was mostly completed, we drove from Michigan. My advice to your company, pay attention to your boots on the ground floor not your management in there office trying to shove unfinished homes down the throats of customers when obviously not ready. From Erick to Joe to Mike To Megan to Nick, everyone was friendly, honest, helpful and knowledgeable. They made the stressful experience of finding, financing and closing on our first home an exciting and rewarding experience.

Overall good except that I still waiting for Quantum to come and fix my fibre wire that some contractor cut it off.

We love the community and area. We purchased at the beginning of the community opening and decided to purchase a larger home in the same community. We like many of the extras included in the sale, having the appliances and blinds included are a nice plus.

I would never recommend you guys to anyone I wish I could tell people when I see them in the neighborhood not to buy here it is the worst house it was put together like a 5 year old did it sorry I brought with you guys

Total lprocess was long and no much communication from sales representative. Deadline for the house was, 2 months late, home is built very sound but the fine craftsmanship details are not there. I love our house and community with all the issues being taken care of.

My wife and I have been incredibly impressed with the professionalism, responsiveness and true sense that Lennar cares about their buyers. From Shannon on the sales team to Nick in Customer Care, to the subcontractors coming by for minor warranty repairs, everyone has been wonderful to deal with. We are from Canada and have built 4 new homes there. No customer service experience we've had prior to this with a builder, compares to Lennar's amazing one. We feel we got great value and quality of construction. Where there was an issue we noticed, it was fixed promptly and professionally by contractors, with follow up from Nick in Customer Care. The workmanship is lacking and responding to fix things is awful

Zach in sales office is a rockstar!!! Little disappointed that Lennar wanted me to close on the house without a shower enclosure and lanai cage- they have not been to responsive to post closing issues either. Zach rocks!!

The whole experience was great

From the beginning Shannon D. has been extremely helpful making the home purchase process very easy. After the closing, she continues to help us when issues arise depending on the situation. In addition, Cody B. has been invaluable as far as being on site every day. He also goes above and beyond helping us out on any issue that is planned or unplanned. I will say though that quality of craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired.

The experience up to the point of sale was good. Build quality was average at best and poor in several areas - electrical sockets were not flush to the wall with a visible gap, corners overlapped and no effort to fix, broken counter top slab was still used and too late to fix, AC filter was shoved incorrectly causing issues. Customer service post sale was poor to average - you can raise tickets but no way to follow up or even know what ticket was submitted(if you raised many), they ask to sign off with just a request number with no clue on what it refers too, no ETA on fixes, no way to track requests. No way to upload pictures with issues and report on after fixes. ... More

Overall, not what I expected. Sadly, Lennar was once a decent home builder, not any longer. Lennar are now all about the bottom line and keeping shareholders happy - a production builder! I owned a Lennar home in Wellington, Florida and Colorado. Both were decent homes. This home has been pulled apart within the first month of closing. The drywall removed to correct simple issues. Ones that the superintendent should have addressed during construction. I love the layout of the home but the level of workmanship leaves much to be desired. After one month of living in the home and trying to unpack, whilst dealing with drywall dust, I gave up for a few days. Drywaller’s, trim carpenter, painter all coming and going. Still a long list of ‘warranty’ issues EXCEPT these are not warranty issues. These are problems from before closing. I found a 4 page QA sheet that specified due to be rectified by 19 April! Did not happen. So now, I have to deal with a long list of items that the superintendent did not address before closing. The yard is being torn out today! The sod was installed and not watered sufficiently and I was told to give it time! When you have a couple of watermelon plants in your yard and one has a watermelon growing, you know there is an issue! The sod was installed on 17 April and looked good. Downhill from there. The sod company are professional but like homeowners have to deal with, they have to stay within the Lennar ‘boundaries’! The closing was planned for 26 April, then pushed back and then brought forward again. I lived in Colorado and had all of my belongings on a moving truck in storage. I had to keep changing the date with the company. I moved to Florida and closed on 5 May (whilst I had paid for 4 hotel stays beforehand) and then had to rent an Airbnb for 10 days as Lennar had messed me around so much. The truck was scheduled to arrive 20th May and I ended up moving into home on 15th May and sleeping on a mattress with camping chairs. I asked if Lennar could, at least, comp me for a couple hotel nights - crickets! Push, push, push to close and at one point I was ready to walk away from the $59k deposit! I was beyond frustrated. What should have been a new start in my life, has turned out to be a nightmare situation. Lennar do not work uniformly with all of the trades and the homeowner suffers. Customer service should be pivotal in this experience and sadly it is not! A homeowner should not feel like they are ‘one’ against ‘all’, yet that is my experience. I have been GC on two home remodels - one was a 7,700 sq ft home that took 11 months. I know true workmanship. I am experienced and know what is acceptable and what is not. What happened to you Lennar? What did you decide that quantity overcame quality? I would not buy a Lennar home again and wish I had bought an existing home and not a new build. ... More

This is my second home with Lennar in the past 4 years. Closed in April, still have not been able to move into my home. Expenses have multiplied however no home. No one takes responsibility and no one held accountable. They force you to close on a home that is not completed with the high quality Lennar sells people on. Completely dissatisfied.

My kitchen cabinets are still not finished and I have 13 cracked travertine pool times that are cracked, also on driveway paver is cracked. I should not have closed when I did. I trusted and never again

The worst home purchase I’ve ever had(2 previous). Went to walk through and there were numerous issues with the home. Was told that if I don’t close once they received the certificate of occupancy I would lose my deposit. It been almost 2 months since I’ve closed and there is still incomplete work. Too much back and forth with their subs.

Overall experience was good. Drywall finish is not, it’s terrible. I understand the builder has deleted the sliding glass door in the master bedroom which is great improvement that we would have liked. Makes good floorplan even better by creating needed wall space. Gateway location is convenient and up and coming.

Home Buyers need to know exactly what is included in a new home. I was completely unaware that my new home would not have exterior lights, that there were no shower doors in two of the three bathrooms and no towel bars and no mirrors in any of the bathrooms. I have spent the first month in this home purchasing those items. Also older couples like myself need more one on one attention as it is often difficult to do everything via the computer. We have difficulty with Virtual visits.

1, Pushed to closing of the deal without completing the job with satisfaction 2. After closing, Buyers are pushed around for no reason. 3. Managers and main contractors very courteous and professional but workmanship fair. 4. Appliances are all Apartment grade.

Not good on helping with warranty items

This isn’t second Lennar home. I am a single woman and was very nervous about everything. I had to buy a home after the hurricane and I went to Lennar because I knew I had a great experience before. Kristen walked me through all the financial steps and answered her phone and texted me back always and very promptly. Colten answered all my questions about the property quickly and with detail, Mike followed up to make sure I had all proper documents and Brian has been in touch and over the top in any questions or other Ned’s with the home. These employees exhibit such loving concern and empathetic interest. They are the reason I recommend Lennar. Of course Lennar develops a beautiful good quality home fir a great price!
