Lennar had nice homes but they go cheap on a number of items IE hollow doors and no shower doors. There were a number of quality issues and they are more interested in building the next house vs fixing the problems in existing homes

They don’t give enough options

Good quality home for price but HOA people never get back to you if you email a question. They can be very rude.

The experience up to the point of sale was good. Build quality was average at best and poor in several areas - electrical sockets were not flush to the wall with a visible gap, corners overlapped and no effort to fix, broken counter top slab was still used and too late to fix, AC filter was shoved incorrectly causing issues. Customer service post sale was poor to average - you can raise tickets but no way to follow up or even know what ticket was submitted(if you raised many), they ask to sign off with just a request number with no clue on what it refers too, no ETA on fixes, no way to track requests. No way to upload pictures with issues and report on after fixes. ... More

No quality finished house. Very expensive house for the quality

The mortgage company was not smooth. Our representative left in the middle of it and no one notified us of this for awhile. It wasn’t made easy to understand what was going one.

The mortgage process is long and CUMBERSOME, Over bearing and exceeds info needed for a mtge. bad process.

Building process was not what I expected but the service after movein was, and continues to be, amazing.

The house was incomplete at the time of closing. A very long list of items to be fixed on closing day. It took weeks, if not months to get them all fixed. Lennar sales did not disclose all information about the home lot and Vista community information. A pedestrian Traffic sign was installed at the driveway entrance, Additionally, we have come to find out Vista Lake Owners residing in the Wild Blue community, will not be able to use Wild Blue entrances. This was a huge disappointment. The Community clubhouse was promised completion 6 months ago, now group d had not yet been broken and we are told another year. ... More

Closing process very rushed once sales agreement was signed. Walk through inspection prior to closing was rushed several items regarding construction of the home were not complete. Final closing fees were excessive.

I am very disappointed in the fact that we addressed some issues around the house annd the yard and we were told they would be taken care of, but they were not. It is sad to buy a new construction home and to have things not taken care of. This was not what we expected.

Found th design house in a different development than first wanted. Multiple POA restrictions. Showed us house. Lied about being able to use Burnt store marina pool. Later told about easement which restricted pool layout. Mortgage sent multiple paper work- some sent multiple times. Had to wait 2 days to get keys after our settlement. Not a great idea to buy a lennar house in mixed community of builders. House vacant over a year. Had lots of bugs on the floors. Even blood on floor and wall. Still with problems getting onto website to report problems.

Purchasing was smooth less with sales and closing. All personal on these two teams very responsive and helpful. Closing in relation to date to close walkthrough was subpar. We were given a date to close in purchase order and then was moved up 3 weeks. House was not in shape to close as the construction to finalize was being rushed with new move up date, end of fiscal quarter. We used our own inspector which picked up the same amount of items to be corrected and even more which lennar refused to make fixes. We were told our inspector takes the place of our walkthrough and if something isn’t noted on the inspection report they won’t fix and would go to warranty if needed after closing. Also informed it’s not on Lennar in relation to concrete once laid unless uneven. I explained I did not want to deal with warranty for items that could be corrected or noted to be correct prior to closing. We were also not informed that there is a one year plumbing warranty so if you want to change out anything in relation to plumbing you have to call the plumbers and schedule them to install otherwise your plumbing warranty for the first year will be void. Thankfully we found this out when we were having our dishwasher installed. So now moving forward I call, but the construction manager stated he didn’t even know when I called him. That is concerning they he didn’t know and it was never stated. Dealing with warranty has been a lot of back and forth. Minor items are quick and corrected. The blinds company used was amazing as the supervisor told his employee servicing the house “use replace it and make her happy.” The trade that have come has been nice and pleasant. However my biggest concern is the amount paid for the home and the final touches, quality of the small items and the fixtures. The fixtures looked as if they were purchased and did not match the price of home. Basic chrome and laundry fixtures in kitchen and other areas. My BIGGEST issue is with the installation of the tub and enclosure products. The enclosures shake so much they have a give that doesn’t seem secure. I was informed by “higher ups” that the construction was to specs, the enclosures was installed to company’s specs and there is nothing that can be done. I was also told there is caulking (subpar) and no water intrusion so not to worry. Red flag this is something I worry about and rather be agreed of that issue. Also the fact the tub and enclosure are not flush and “no caulking needed due to the way it fits”. Water that stays in the craves is a concern. Overall Lennar purchase is a 3 star. For the price paid for the cookie cutter layout, fixtures and no choice of updates. The personal has been helpful for the most part. However, beware of quality of items and the amount you will have to fight for quality of expectations when paying almost 500k for a forever home. We had to add gutter as that was cut back, no outside lights near garage doors, patio is a small slab, 18in x 36in, to step on outside the slider. Had double sinks in model- now single, had impact windows- now metal shutters. This means even more money to spend to make the home to standards. ... More

Let's separate house, materials, workmanship, Lennar Mortgage/LennarTitle. House has nice layout and looks good, materials mostly cheap but apparently that's what you get for such price. Nice looking place, if you don't know what to look for or didn't order separate inspection. Big pluses: - good lot, great amenities center (really awesome). - people are responsive and nice. - sales guy is awesome, he even made his own website to give people needed information, cause Lennar doesn't do it. House issues: - NEVER buy house (even new one) without external inspection. I had 12 minutes video of me walking the house and listing the issues. Quality control is poor. Example: AC vent is closed by dry wall, so no AC in the room. Huge gaps in the lanai mesh metal parts, so anything can fly inside or fall from the wind. Safety issues, dents, pain issues, ghost doors, stains, etc. - to be fail most of the issues where resolved, but the only way to make them fix few major issues was not to accept the house. - house should be finished and passed to the owner clean, right? Nope, it was dirty with lots of debris after asap fixes. Disappointing. Lennar Mortgage and Title: - great experience about all, really good job. Except one of them messed up and I exigently found out that I have to go into the office to sign in person the day before (even in the system it was written that it's fully remote), not fun experience trying to shift all the plans and work ASAP! I was told and so was several other people that the mulch is included with the HOA and from what I’m reading from all of them is that that is not true!! that needs to be fixed… for a first time homebuyer as I had questions and reached out to Lynn and so forth in regards to certain things then yeah I didn’t get a call back!!

Overall, we are satisfied though we had issues related to quality of workmanship and lack of cleaning the property before we arrived. The onsite customer service rep did a good job in getting a cleaning crew in to do a deep cleaning when we first arrived, though it took a couple of days. There appear to be significant delays in starting construction of the clubhouse and amenities facilities for this community. We are seasonal residents and look forward to being in sunny and warm Florida this winter. However, we are disappointed that construction on the clubhouse and related facilities has not yet begun. When we went to contract at the beginning of this year we were told construction should be winding up about this time. ... More

Unresponsive to claims, an outlet in my living room wasn’t connected properly and I haven’t even recorded a confirmation email of my claim yet from 3weeks ago. Also my street still doesn’t exist two months in!! Can’t change my address on any accounts or receive certain packages or deliveries.

Who’s the community of Timer Creek seems nice and the home was built fairly quickly, there have been multiple quality issues that are unacceptable. I used to build houses and speak from experience as a licensed BC. Missing crown in kitchen, big hole in drywall, and other glaringly apparent defects should have been resolved prior to closing. Lennar mortgage and tactile have horrible communication with the customers. Not impressed!

Could not make walk through, tried a zoom walk through however lack of internet did not allow that. Therfore we were quite surprised on move in day. Doors were unlocked missing items from within the home washer & dryer not hooked up. House was never cleaned very good, water to refrigerator not hooked up, dish washer did not work and it took three times over a month to get it working. Paint on 90% of all wall plates. And when we tried addressing these issue we were told it's now a warranty issue. Therfore not a very good experience to start out.

Nice Floor plan but the quality of the work is not worth the price. Every wall, every ceiling, every window is out of square. The list of repairs is long but so far Lennar is cooperating. They are just building too much too fast and it showa

Total lprocess was long and no much communication from sales representative. Deadline for the house was, 2 months late, home is built very sound but the fine craftsmanship details are not there. I love our house and community with all the issues being taken care of.

Zach in sales office is a rockstar!!! Little disappointed that Lennar wanted me to close on the house without a shower enclosure and lanai cage- they have not been to responsive to post closing issues either. Zach rocks!!

1, Pushed to closing of the deal without completing the job with satisfaction 2. After closing, Buyers are pushed around for no reason. 3. Managers and main contractors very courteous and professional but workmanship fair. 4. Appliances are all Apartment grade.

He was great throughout the experience.
