The workmanship on the interior walls is very bad, when doing the walk through there were no lights in the home, so we could not see how bad it really was, but now that we have lights, the walls are terrible. The dryer was not installed incorrectly because the set screw was not tightened on the cord and that caused smoke and arcing, we have not had a dryer in 3 weeks. The tree in the backyard has been leaning almost to the ground since we moved in and looks terrible. Overall, I am very disappointed in the quality of work for a 2036 square foot home that we paid $441,000, I expected more from ...

We moved in April 22 and from the we still waiting for our ICE MAKER. Details door paint with different white, area unfinished still open. From Lennar care they want to close all WO immediate even it’s no complete and open another (no agree)

Building a home is very difficult, but building during a pandemic is extraordinarily stressful. supplies are always limited and timelines are completely disregarded. there needs to be teams working with the buyers in order to keep communication flowing. It seems that materials that arrive or not going to the homes that have been waiting the longest, but being distributed randomly. I am sure this is wasteful and costly for the builder, but frustrating for the buyer who waits months for supplies to arrive at their home only to see that other homes that were purchased much later were completed ...

They don't communicate well. I had to make numerous calls and speak to various people before I learned the real reason why my home wasn't finished. At times I felt that I was being misled until I found people who told me the reasons for the delay.

We closed 4 months ago and I'm still waiting for items to be repaired/replaced. I've made numerous inquires and all I get is stalling. Some of the finishes aren't the best and after you close you have to spend a small fortune to customize the home. Lennar doesn't allow you to do it during construction when it would be cheaper and easier. Next time I will use a true custom builder.

Very misleading sales experience. Average warranty follow up. Average workmanship on overall build. Warranty items are bound to happen, but some of it stems from poor workmanship in the start. Community is very nice. The layout makes it esthetically pleasing. Amenities are nice. Gated community, not so much due to on going construction.

Lennar - Punch list not finished before closing, promises made never kept.

Punch list not finished before closing, promises made never kept. Appliances were stolen and replaced with stored ones that were dented and not working properly, was told that it was a “Ge” issue. Had to go to BBB to get fridge that was not working replaced less then 90 days from closing. Had to go to headquarters to get any help With having house punch list finished.

I have had a number of issues with extremely low response time. Anything from 6 weeks for garage remotes, missing support clips in the panty, paint touch up, ring and flo don't work, etc! The latest is the pump in the washer broke 10 days ago! The service person came yesterday and it needs to be ordered. Probably looking at another 2 weeks without a washer!

The responsiveness of the Lennar team post closing has been unacceptable. This was compounded by many issues of poor quality materials and poor workmanship.

Had to place best and final bid offer for home. You'll never know if you overbid or not. No customizing your new build, which is not what was communicated to us until it was too late (would have to give up deposit). They rush you to make your deposits and closing on your home, but are slow to respond when issues arise. They also don't give you timelines on how your home is progressing in the building phase. Not sure I would recommend them at this time. This makes me think twice about buying a new construction home in the future.

This is our second and last lennar home. The Constructon quality has gone down from the drywall finish, paint, trim ect. Every punch item is pushed back and you fight to get every repair done. We are not happy with any part of this long process.

It was 14 month of screw ups and problems. Being told things that would or will never happen. Very frustrating and expensive for us to find a place to live for all the months. When I called to complain about the length of time it was taking I was told very sarcastically that I should read the contract and they have 2 years to build the house. It was screw up after screw up until Rob took over as superintendent. I would never ever recommend Lennar to anyone

The sales rep and other staff members that I worked with including the mortgage staff, were all great and very helpful - They were the best thing about buying here. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. My move in date was 2 months later than I was told which was very disruptive for me and my family to say the least. There were numerous issues when I moved in regarding the workmanship and materials, and I continue to find small things. Shortly after move in we discovered that our master shower had two shower heads installed too close together to be useful. Reported to customer care and they admitted it was a mistake but refused to move the misplaced shower head. Went up the chain with no success. Then our sales rep got involved, and eventually emailed us that Lennar would correct the mistake. On contacting him to find out when the work would be scheduled we were advised that Lennar had changed their minds and were again refusing to correct their mistake. Community is great, home layout is great. Really disappointed with the cleanliness and the actual process of a home being completed at closing. It appears that the home quality does not matter as long as there is a CO. The rest we can pass off to warranty. If there were some simple checks and balances in place where someone actually went through the homes prior and completed the items. I’m a real estate agent and can say Lennar walkthru’s are by far the most difficult and I am trying to explain to my clients why their home is not actually completed but don’t worry someone will come along ...
