I will let my friends and families to buy house from Lennar but one thing is the closing cost is pretty high. It would have better to lower the cost to help buyers to buy house from Lennar

Overall, we like our new home. The process was fairly simple and took only about 4 months from start to finish. The one thing that we did not like about the process is that Lennar would not let you alter any plans in any way. So, we ended up with carpet in the bedrooms and had to have it removed after closing. They do not place a second water meter For the irrigation system nor would they let me pay to have it installed before landscaping was done. This meant I had to dig up my yard to do it later. During my recent purchase in Tara Baywood, the home inspection revealed a number of issues. Some were addressed on-site by Construction Supervisor Myles, while others required follow-up. While the initial construction experience was mixed, Lennar’s warranty and customer-service process truly excelled. My Warranty Service Coordinator, Dee, was outstanding. I don’t even know where to begin. I trusted you. I was excited to get a brand new home only to find out that the the workmanship is shoddy. My yard is a swamp and I have expressed my concerns about this for two months only to be pushed aside. I have had multiple contractors over to my home only to state that they’ve never seen anything like this in their life. I wouldn’t recommend Lennar to a dog. The salesperson, Alex, was outstanding and was attentive to our needs within his authority/control. However we were very dissatisfied with the workmanship (paint, carpentry, landscaping (unlevel, dead grass, irrigation system heads sticking up too high, etc)). The tubs are basically useless because they are way too short for an average height adult (taller than 4 feet). Great square footage and amenities for the dollar but the workmanship needs improvements.

Worst Homebuying Experience with Lennar – A Total Nightmare

Buying with Lennar has been an absolute nightmare. There have been so many issues, I don’t even know where to begin. On my initial walk-through, I found over 30+ issues. By the second walk-through (which they scheduled the same day as closing), many items were still not completed. On closing day, I had a notary scheduled at my home at 12pm. Both the construction manager and my home concierge, Paul, assured me that everything would be fixed within 45 minutes.
