Great home in a quiet and growing community. The house is brand new with a modern kitchen, open layout, and plenty of natural light. The neighborhood is clean and family-friendly, with good schools nearby and nice community amenities. The screened lanai is a great bonus for relaxing outside. The only downside is that it’s a townhouse with a shared wall and HOA fees, but overall it’s a very good option for a new home in St. Augustine at this price point.

On the other hand, My overall experience from Lennar is a “0”. I purchased a home in December 2025. Their system was mediocre, inefficient, confusing, and the home overpriced for what I paid for it. They’ll make it look like the price is right, but it is not. They will get their money in many other ways during the process before closing on your home. Many unknown numbers included in the closing documents for charges that should not have been there, or other charges for things that otherwise could have been waved or eliminated altogether. Their financing lender services were horrible, unprofessional, untrusted and, in my case, there were too many different people involved making the system incredibly unworthy. Once the closing date takes place, it is another story of more confusion, the running around having them fix anything. Their so called “Virtual” meeting where you must use your personal phone to show them what you are complaining about fulfils their willingness to have the issue fixed. It almost feels like you must prove to them that your complaint about fixing anything in your home must be proven before being approved, instead of honoring the warranty that comes with the house. Having to pay for two different HOA’s for your house is beyond me and extremely confusing and unfriendly. The constant harassment, threats and bullying approach from HOA staff about home infraction violations is disturbing and illegal. Their HOA system is not centralized, making their system navigation a big inconvenience, frustrating and certainly unfriendly to use. Amenities are far from the house, and not big enough for all the people living within the community. Their vision is more of quantity, instead of quality homes as my house after only a few weeks of purchase, water leaked inside of one of the room’s walls making a big mess creating a long week of many different types of inconvenience. Great experience from start to finish. It was very easy to keep track of progress through the portal. The house was delivered on time as promised with no delays. Lennar insurance was competitive and made it a one stop shop. The sales team and the back office team including the closing agent were all extremely professional, courteous and easy to work with, from signing the purchase agreement and all the way through the close of sale. Keep up the great work, Lennar team!

Was not told that there were no lights in bedrooms, no towel bars, and no toilet paper holders in bathrooms. I was shocked.

We purchased. I did not like the sales approach, similar to a car dealership. Unprofessional and pushy. Once we sat down and got to raw numbers everything just worked. Made sense sales men was a “salesman” I did not like that. Customer was not in mind. overall buying experience was fine. Numbers worked. Office, title was really helpful. Quality is great and response for the minimal Issues we have had which is to be expected in a newly built home has been phenomenal. I would say sales is the hardest hurdle but you do get a quality home with a supportive group. I would buy again just expect to feel like cheap car dealership dependent on you get. Sherwin ans Christi did a very good job. They were very professional in the telephone conversations we had, they answered all my questions and explained in details so that I can understand and make my own decisions. They went above and beyond my expectations and made sure my move in date that I have ask for was achieved.

Since we’ve bought our Lennar home, we’ve seen good, bad & terrible reviews from other Lennar buyers. The home seems sound, but there are small issues we’ve had to address since we moved in almost 2 months ago. I would recommend a home inspection before buying. We did & even though our home had been newly built, there were several things we required to be taken care before we closed. The appliances that come with the home are subpar. If you have the chance to upgrade your appliances, do so! Overall, we are happy with our Lennar home.

Homebuying was easy and everyone was professionally helpful in making process stress free.

The home is very nice and well built. The warranty team is excellent. Great value for price. But don’t fool yourself into thinking these are custom homes. They are for the most part builders grade and built for cost efficiency. It is obvious the few areas where the bottom line was considered more than the homeowners comfort and convenience. Don’t get me wrong, I love my home, but would have done a few things differently had more options been available.

For the price paid for a brand new home it was lacking. There were a number of quality issues such as lag bolts in garage door not in. Kitchen cupboard cracked underneath. Outside light boxes are too deep, modified by owner to get light up. Dishwasher is cheapest model. No city trash cans available, and no place to put outside. No attic ladder available. Trees to close to house. Should have had less sprinkler heads, watering bushes overkill. NOT WIRED WITH COAX CABLE SATELLITE IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT DRILLING. Roped into using neighborhood internet it's too slow for square footage. Certainly won't consider lennar again. ... More

Our salesman, Alan, was great with showing us homes and explaining features. We found a home that really met our needs. Other than perhaps some sloppy painting, the house has been great! A couple of minor issues have been quickly addressed by Lennar. We are loving our new home and location!

As a co-signer, most of the questions are not applicable to me. Since you force me to fill in the blank, you are getting what you asked for. Also, the display name is incorrect but that may be just as irrelevant. What I will comment on was the financing. I felt as though I was dealing with a kindergarten drop out. Many items were asked for three or four times, and the harassing tone rose to the level of sarcasm. If my granddaughter wasn't so set on the house I would likely have told someone to check where the sun doesn't shine. AND you may print what I have said.

I have a four bedroom home and it’s still too small. The bedrooms are so small 10 by tens are a waste of time you can’t even fit decent furniture trying to put a queen size bed and a dresser. There’s no space for anything else. I think it’s ridiculous and it should be against the law to build such a small room for someone to live in just my personal opinion.

The only issue is the HOA. Not friendly and slow to respond. Never return phone calls , only respond by text. After submitting all required documents as well as paid the fee consistently keep asking for more documents and money has totally discouraged me from moving forward with getting a fence for my dog. I love the home and the mortgage process from sales to closing was perfect. My maintenance request are taken care of immediately, all very professional and friendly. Would absolutely refer to family, friends and co workers.

Lenar absolutely shocked us with closing costs higher than for resale properties. The amount of fees was incredible - even our realtor was shocked. Ended up paying over 8K extra for the house. They played a nice trick by including our initial deposit into the estimated closing cost and 'offset' the hidden increase.

There are times that you encounter visiting a business or having service or ordering goods when the customer service is outstanding. You never forget that experience. You tell people about it. Well, that is how I feel about Lennar. From the start to the finish, my experience has been top notch in every way. From the Sales, Mortgage, Title, Insurance and after close care...this company is incredibly organized and customer focused. I'm impressed and feel like I truly made the right choice. With so many builders out there...it is my belief that value dollar for dollar to any other builder, Lennar is the best!!! ... More

Three-Star Review We recently received the keys to our new home and were excited to start moving in, but unfortunately the first thing we had to do was clean the entire house ourselves. It was very disappointing to find that the home hadn’t been cleaned before our walkthrough or move-in. As we’ve settled in, we’ve also noticed several small details around the home that don’t reflect the level of quality we expected. None of these issues are huge on their own, but together they’ve left us feeling less impressed with the overall finish. We still appreciate finally being in our new home, but the experience would have been much better with more attention to detail and proper cleaning prior to move-in. ... More
