I truly like the everything included concept as there are no pricing add ons/surprises. The house is trust to move in ready with blinds and ceiling fans. Just add groceries, friends and furniture! This is my 2nd Lennar home and I am happy to recommend them to anyone.

Building standards seem to have lowered over the years

Fit and finish just not what it used to be. This isn't just Lennar, it's all of the homes being built today. The subs are not craftsmen of old, they tend to just do sloppy work and never check their work. Why should the homeowner have to find all the little "presents" left behind by the subs???

The builder had a very average finish. We had to rework it several times before the final walk-through. Since our support person (Mr.Mark) was very kind we were able to get a lot of stuff done after the closing by raising tickets. We are still not done with our home, the tub, there is a crack in it, something we were not able to see clearly during the final walk-through. Also Lennar a billion-dollar company should reiterate through their sales team several times about what is NOT included in the "All inclusive" home. Overall have been very pleased with Lennar. I’ve had homes built in the past and this is the best experience I’ve had. Response to issues has been excellent. I’m especially pleased with the LENNAR team I’ve worked with. I do have a complaint. I have some dead bushes and trees and my sprinkling system is not functioning but LENNAR says it’s not their issue and the landscape people say it’s a LENNAR issue. Nothing is getting done and more bushes are dying. Plus I’m trying to water with a hose which is costing me extra money and time. Can someone work with the landscaper and get my ...

Lennar homes are undoubtedly beautiful with first class materials. Unfortunately there is a markedly disconnect in the quality control and some workmanship. It is understandable that inevitably there will be some issues with a new home, but most of us in Dorado are in agreement that the issues we have been facing are not becoming of half million dollar homes. Put yourself in your best financial health, as to having the most control over your purchasing experience, i.e., credit score, income to debt ratio. This may sound like obvious advice, but I cannot emphasize this enough. Side note, inquire with the HOA about any personal things you intend to do on your property. I've had a nightmare.

Sprinkler guys did a lousy job. Sprinklers are too deep they didn’t plan for the sod height or level the yard well. Already have had to re-caulk master shower and kids bathroom. Overall we are happy with our home.

I would not recommend the Lennar financing team. That is the only reason I would not rate Lennar 5 stars for Trustworthiness and Responsiveness to issues. The finance team could not get my settlement statement correct even right up to closing. I almost walked away from purchasing the villa due to their constant mistakes.

We love our new home! The lennar "everything included" is a great initiative and provides lot of value without nickel and diming you. There needs to be more supervision and attention to detail - workers overlook many things which have to be addressed later. Customer service post buy is great.

Love the floor plan and materials. Workmanship could be better (sloppy drywall, paint, and caulking; numerous electrical shortcomings). Slow to non-existent follow up by subs on punch list items and newly discovered issues. Still waiting after 4 months on about 10% of the items.

Be careful that you review all the promises that they make to you on the home. Review with the sales agent verbally any issues that you have and get them to put into writing any promises made. Review the extras in the house and make sure you get them when the house is completed. Find out exactly who will be handling any issues that arise. The walk through is important and put in writing what needs to be done and have their person sign for it. Verbal issues just disappear as does the rep they send with you. Make sure they review and meet with you to get the keys and the complex rules.

Lennar - The landscaping is not great.

The landscaping is not great. Our tree fell over twice and had to be replanted. Part of our property line has washed away because they didn’t put erosion barrier up and so a fifteen foot section of our sod has been washed under causing big holes in the back yard. They supposedly fixed it twice but it’s still there.

I'll provide the negatives. If it's not in the negative, then it's positive 1. Lennar person handling my mortgage was the biggest dissapointment. Not very knowledgeable. Put the wrong insurance company in the closing. Apologized at closing but couldn't do anything about on the day of closing. Promised to help with paperwork to make the change to insurance company that I picked, which happened to be Lennar home insurance. She added reminder to her calendar to reach out to me. Never heard from her. Not too bright of an individual. She provided numbers to me for closing that didn't ...
