every warranty contractor that enters my home tells me you’re company only sells junk air should have know better but the interest rates motivated me to buy a crappy house you cut corners on everything i got what i paid for but never again will i buy a lennar house sales and the loan process was very unprofessional

I expected a much better quality home for $400,000. Walls were painted poorly. There were baseboards that weren't painted very well. The exterior of the house was dirty even though it was supposed to have been pressure washed the day before closing. My rear slider doors were scratched. While the warranty people were very responsive, it's been a fight to get things covered.

I was staying in a hotel after selling my home and wanted to move in quickly. Ethan was able to get my home finished early. KC with Lennar Mortgage finished up my financing and a quick closing date was set. The house has been great and I haven’t had any issues.

My overall experience was great until we moved in. We found a couple of issues (a chipped tile and a couple of drywall issues) the superintendent came by took pictures and submitted a work order and that was the last time that we heard anything from Lennar.

Not quite sure that Lennar build quality homes; I’ve been here 3 months in my new home and have a lot of issues with home still needing repairs that should have been done before moving in. Very disappointed in the builder!!!

I am a 100% Disabled Combat Veteran with certain health issues. Everything was going great with the whole process home buying process, until after the closing. That's when it all fell apart. I wanted to fence in the very small backyard and have pavers put down before my family moved in. I have mobility issues when walking through grass so the pavers were the perfect choice. After closing I submitted my paperwork for the fence to be installed with the HOA. We'll, they contacted me and said they were waiting on the paperwork from Lennar. A week or so later with no call, I contacted ...

HOA APPROVAL A NIGHTMARE

We were assured by the sales person, Carlos, that applying to put in a standard fence like everyone else has in the neighborhood would be a quick and easy process and it’s been anything but that. In two days, it will mark the 30 day mark. We were told it would take one week to 30 days and they have waited until the evening of the 28th day to kick our application back to us and tell us they need more information about something that was not even on the application nor is it in the covenants. The selling agent, lacked experience , Kept changes the deal. Negotiating with texting and should stuck with email so I have a track of any changes. Thanks to the manager Penny who was able to take over and close the deal.

Customer service is terrible. They deny you repairs in your home. Not happy with customer service repairs. It is a struggle.

Lennar’s staff are exceptional. Unfortunately, they are dealing with too many workmanship issues that are not corrected by the trades at final inspection. It is evident that the CM, quality control and sales force have learned to accept a “production” standard that for most buyers is totally unacceptable to a buyer. Buyers expect quality workmanship when purchasing a home. Many defects have been corrected but more have materialized since occupancy. We are certain Lennar will fix the defects but it is disheartening to have to chase problems down.

Our overall experience has been very good. The staff is responsive and helpful. Our construction manager is beyond excellent. We realize that Lennar is not a custom builder. However there are a few items that should be offered as an option. The appliances are not reflective of the quality reputation the builder continues to enjoy. We would recommend Lennar to anyone looking to buy a new home.

i bought a readily available home. i noticed even before the independent inspection, Lennar had taped areas around the house where they had already identified things to fix. The inspection/remediation process was a bit confusing as the documents signed did not have all the fixes from the report but in the end all was addressed. Any follow up was done swiftly.

From the time I saw my home until the time we moved in, the process was smooth, easy and everyone was friendly and understanding. The home had a few "dings", but Lennar's team took care of all concerns quickly. I would recommend that the Lennar sales team make it clear that outside garage lighting, inside kitchen cabinet hardware and backsplash finish is not provided. That was my only surprise. As it turns out, we got to choose our own., but it should be mentioned at the start. I would recommend possibly considering another appliance provider. The overall home buying experience with Lennar was very positive. Everyone we worked with from our initial contact through closing was knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Being kept informed of the status of each step of the home buying process is important to me and the Lennar team did a good job of doing that. They responded back quickly with any questions they couldn’t immediately answer and didn’t make me continue to call them for that information.
