Not quite sure that Lennar build quality homes; I’ve been here 3 months in my new home and have a lot of issues with home still needing repairs that should have been done before moving in. Very disappointed in the builder!!!

Move in ready?

Very frustrating trying to settle and move in to a new “finished” home. We expected delays due to supply issues however upon settlement, major construction should have been completed. Racks were not installed. Bathroom fans not installed. Painting not finished. When touch up painting was attempted the colors did not match. This resulted in all of our rooms needing to be repainted after our furnishings were moved in. There was no final cleaning so we are still chipping grout off the tile floors. Grout in the bathrooms need to be re-done as it was not completed. So, we are moved in and ...

It's been a nightmare for the first 3 mos so far. As you spend time at the house you see more and more mistakes and lousy craftsmanship, from doors mishung, over screwed hinges, misroutered strike plates, bulges and divots in the plaster and Sheetrock over bulging framing. The absolute cheapest , but good looking kitchen and bathroom cabinets-glued and pinned together but with bad finishes on doors and pins sticking straight out of the drawer boxes and glue just floating about the boxes. Slider doors do not close properly, 'Caulkless' tub surrounds need caulk as their resolution to a leaking ...

Wouldn’t use Lennar again if I had the choice

Our new home consultant (Liz l)was great and communicated well with us and also helped us with some personal matters as we acclimated to FL. The process of purchasing a home site unseen(we moved from MN and couldn’t make it here) was nerve wracking. The process they had set in place to purchase, in retrospect, is absurd and in the best interest of Lennar. It’s essentially a bidding war and you automatically put in your highest and best offer, however, you could potentially only be bidding against no one (only Lennar knows). We signed our contract mid-April for an early September close date. ...

Build quality of the home is fine, and dealing with the local Lennar employees is very good and they work very hard to make it a good experience. Policies directed down from corporate are based on what is best for corporate and for the experience of the home buyer.

Quality of workmanship and materials very poor we found many issues that needed to addressed numerous times, and are still dealing with them i.e paint splattered all over the floor tiles and the dishwasher not connected correctly caused a flood in our living room ETC.

As the saying goes, "first impression is the last impression". In this instance, I tend to disagree with my homebuying experience with Lennar. The first encounter with my agent was quite impressive. The questions I have fielded were answered with conviction. However, I have felt a sense of deception and distrust along the way and during the construction process. I had asked a few questions regarding the construction specifications, but those didn't materialize at the end. Bottom line, do your diligent research before you sign the contract. Ask current homeowners with their experiences, etc. ...

The buying experience wasn't bad with Lennar. Communications was good. But I have to say the quality of work done on these homes is not good. Cheap materials and shoddy craftsmanship. They are thrown up as quickly as possible. For the first time home buyer, you can't beat the mortgage deals they are offering but if you can afford better, go elsewhere.

Our sales experience started great. Grace and Steve were very attentive. After that first day, it was like everyone except Steve and Priscilla forgot who we were. We had to beg for updates, and when we didn't get them, demand updates by putting everyone on emails, calling repeatedly, etc. We repeatedly asked for information on our close and were ignored. We repeatedly asked for the name of the closing coordinator and were ignored. We repeatedly asked for the name of our builder and were ignored. We were told at the last moments that our close had moved from September to October. Because we ...

The trim work in the house is not that good. The paint job on the interior doors is bad. Debris were painted over, there is paint splatter on the doors. Uneven brush marks trying to cover debris, that need to be sanded and repainted properly. The edges of the doors were not smoothed and are rough. The kitchen island counter top is not level. The kitchen sink has to be replaced due to being badly scratched and dented. When I did the walk through, the kitchen sink was conveniently wet, and I did not notice the scratches. After I closed and came back to the house, the kitchen sink was dry, and I ...

Take your time and if the person working at the office cannot Focus ask for someone else. I could have included more things I wanted after I spoke with neighbors. Also when I signed I would call and ask questions and never a response. Also contact Lennar Higher Level and Basically they protected the employee and only excuses. I liked the All Included but was it worth it? First Impressions stay with a person. Homes in Florida are not the Standard I expected. No interiar wall insulation for example

I am a 100% Disabled Combat Veteran with certain health issues. Everything was going great with the whole process home buying process, until after the closing. That's when it all fell apart. I wanted to fence in the very small backyard and have pavers put down before my family moved in. I have mobility issues when walking through grass so the pavers were the perfect choice. After closing I submitted my paperwork for the fence to be installed with the HOA. We'll, they contacted me and said they were waiting on the paperwork from Lennar. A week or so later with no call, I contacted ...

very slow to take care of issues I have been waiting 4 months for a big pile of debris left by builder to be removed from my yard. my ac unit is to small for my house size, poor quality sliding glass doors no handles, floor tiles very cheap, paint on walls mark should have had a finish instead of flat, customer service rep is very good but his hands are tied, landscaping is worse ive ever seen no imagination, sod not laid properly very bumpy and spacey. Need better quality control finish one project before going to next

Quality of the build is much worse than a few years ago; pressured into closing even when home had many unfinished or damaged parts such as no mirrors/ shelves and broken windows and cabinets. After closing, very hard to get a timely response on warranty request to fix the problems. Would not buy another Lennar home again

After five work orders and two telephone calls over a months time. i am still unable to use my kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher. I had to cancel my house warming due to the lack of response from customer care and not being able to use my kitchen. If this is your first NEW home don't expect a WOW after settlement, The appliance upgrade is not worth the $$, secure a credit and buy your own. Customer care on a local level is great but they are over whelmed due to lack of supervision on the construction end. Job sites are hazardous and an eyesore.
